Literally just did (about 2mo ago). Just bought a house in a nearby suburb. Very happy with my decision.
The homies love crying wolf. They are absolutely gasping for their cards and to complain and there's clearly not enough for them to complain about. So, as usual, they loot, destroy, burn, shoot, violently assualt, murder, run over, stab, mug, car jack, bank jug, etc because they're looking of the most microscopic thing to justify destroying families, businesses, families that have businesses, people and township/city properties, and mostly jacking up insurances and ruining taxpayers money.
I don't condone what was done with slavery, but frankly, they were given a better place to be once slavery was outlawed. The U.S. was, and is the most advanced country in the world, and a republic. Where they came from their distant cousins are still living in huts and horrendous poverty under many dictatorships. If they feel "disrespected" they can leave and time they like and go back. Let's see how much free stuff they get in Nigeria. How many high-end sneakers and I-Pads.
To put things as simply as a man can. This is disrespectful and we are tired of this type of behavior. People go through a hard time sometimes and that's considered the "human factor" which an officer will take in account but looting? Really?

Perhaps, just perhaps, had the police been out early in the day, the day of the looting, the looting wouldn't have happened. Or at least wouldn't have been as bad. I would not blame any of the stores in the least, if they all closed down and moved out.
Another reason to move far away from the city
This only going to get worse as things get more out of reach because of rising prices, jobs that don’t pay well, high paying jobs that only the cognitively gifted can get, there’s going to be many more desperate people out there.
