If i wanted to switch between 4 AHD cameras , could i use 3 of these switchers to achieve that without downgrading the video quality? Im imagining front and rear cameras on one switcher, left and right cameras on 2nd switchers, and a third switcher would toggle between the two outputs. I would configure them and wire them up to give priper priority. But curious what one ahd camera going through 2 switchers would do to image quality?
@VhediaVehicleMedia cheers, thank you for the advice!! I saw the PAC VS41. Looks like a quality unit, but didn't mention it was AHD capable. I'll give it a try! I like that it has wired triggers. I can have all my cameras powered by acc 12v and just activate the triggers of the switcher ( instead of activating camera's 12v feeds with turn signal, reverse, etc) Sweet, thanks again!!!
Can this be connected to a rocker switch with your factory fitted rear camera and a new front camera fitted, So if your driving along and wanted to check the rear view camera by pressing the rocker switch could it work that way ?
Hey, mate. Sorry we don't have all the technical info available at the moment. Can reach out to us via email (hey@vhedia.com.au) so we can check for ya.
Thanks for showing interest in our products, mate! We do ship internationally. You can reach out to us thru our livechat or email us at hey@vhedia.com.au so we can discuss this further.
I have a dash cam that records front and back simultaneously. I already have a reverse camera installed can this product be used to split the feed from the single camera so i dont have to install the other camera?
Hey, mate. Will work with other cameras (like reverse cameras, or caravan cameras) but not sure on a dash camera. Haven't tried yet but might be worth the shot.
Hello. I was just wondering if it is possible to have two rear view cameras (reverse cameras) placed at the back of my car and be able to watch both outputs in the same DVR car screen while reversing? Is that a possibility as I desperately want to have both cameras installed or is there any way to have both cams installed at the back and maybe the output of any one can be seen at any given time? Please advise - thanks!
Ok thanks so much for your reply, however, in my scenario, there is a slight complication. I have a 360 degree installed (front, rear, left and right stitch feature and not independent). So when I use the reverse gear, I get to see the rear view and when I use the left and right indicators, I get to see the left and right views accordingly on my Android car DVR screen. Now, I recently purchased a reverse camera with sensor which I wish to install. In this scenario, will I still be able to use the 2 to 1 switcher to get both the rear view cameras on same DVR screen? (i.e. the 360 reverse camera output as well as the additional reverse parking sensor camera output?). Please advise Also, do you have an email address where I can correspond with you directly? - thanks!
Hey, mate. Not sure but I am assuming you have a different head unit and not one from VHEDIA? Best to reach out to where you got your head unit and show them if the switcher will work with the factory 360 camera's reverse camera and the aftermarket camera you are getting. I reckon it will work on ours but not sure about other units. Cheers.
I don't get it. My Android Unit has two 12V power connectors. One for the rear cam and one ACC. I have a front cam and a backup cam. Both need a 12V connection. My plan was to connect the rear cam to the 12V rear connection and the front cam to the 12V ACC connection. But now this needs a power source as well? Where am I supposed to get all these connections from? I'd really appreciate some help how to do this...
I need to split my reverse camera, I have a large 8" screen and want two reverse camera on thag 1 screen. One that shows the bed of my truck as well as bumper how can I make that happen

possibly you can attach a camera on side mirror too
Yeah, mate. As long as the wirings and plugs fit should work fine.

Ps I've seen 4 way switchers, but unaware if they work with AHD cameras!
Yeah, mate. Would be better to use the 4 to 1 switcher in this case. Will work as long as they have same camera format.

Hi, No if you want to do this will be best to have 2nd camera into our F Cam input or use the 4 - 1 switcher. Cheers
What's basically inside that black box,? Is it relay?
The smart switcher's components, mate,
@VhediaVehicleMedia so it's relay?? If so, any specific relay for switching video signals?
@@VhediaVehicleMedia still waiting my requests for over 12 months about what's inside the Box but still no videos...

do you guys ship to the US? would love to install this in my car

You can also just use a on-on toggle switch wired to rca input and output to one rca.. right? a cheaper diy
Can do that as well. We have a toggle switch you can include when ordering this.
@@VhediaVehicleMedia Sorry i meant On-off-on, and connected to a separate fusebox and not tapping the reverse light? will that work?

Hey, mate. That's the purpose of the 2 to 1 switcher. You can put to cameras and alternately view them on your screen. Cheers.

Will it be possible to use this smart connector to fit an front camera?
You could do but our head unit has a front camera input and some settings to allow you to use that input for the front camera. Cheers
Can Use If Diferrent Volt, Rear 6v, Front 12v
Hey, mate. Ours are standard 12v.

Hey, mate. You'll need to crimp some of the wires. You can also use scotch connectors for this. Cheers!
