This video entails l Hesi A2 Biology and Anatomy and Physiology Review using Elsevier "Hesi Admission Assessment Exam Review " and Trivium Hesi A2 Study Guide". I took the Hesi A2 exam twice and passed both times. I started making videos to help better educate myself ( I am a visually learner ) and a few of my peers found these videos very helpful ( hopefully you did too) , so we decided to share with them with everyone. I also have experience taking other pre-nursing exams, e.g.Teas" and "Kaplan". What that being said, I have gained knowledge and experience that I am pleased to share with YOU! How was the reading part? How was Anatomy? I’m not worried about the math.
@@Clarabellyha the reading were short samples. Literally the stories were like 10 sentences well most. It was easy. It would ask what does this word means? What kind of passage is this? What is the author trying to tell us? && the anatomy was exactly what nurse shai went over. STUDY ! the reading and the anatomy was very detailed with nurse shai videos.

@@Pixellete_s I do apologize for such delayed response, I did not use nurse hub unless I did the free practice quizzes for anatomy portion after looking at Nurse Shari’s videos. I also used ChatGPT to create an exam for me for whatever college I planned on doing my nursing studies, I.e. “Create me a HESI A2 exam for the University of Florida that covers anatomy, biology, and reading comprehension. Stuff like this really did help me. Also I would make flash cards after watching these videos, and color code notes as well, the question in one color and the answer in another 🤍!!! We can do this I know it 🥳 CHEERS TO THE MEDICAL WORLD!

I also took mine on 4/22/24 and used Nursehub. I got a 95%. Don't sleep on Nursehub!

I’m sorry I thought I replied to this earlier.
So I think their were about two or three questions from each system. I highly suggest you watch this video and take practice quizzes on nursehub, and you will be fine. It is really basic anatomy. If you took a&p you will be ok. Hope this helps! And the best of luck to you

Just came to say thanks for all of your descriptions on what to expect.
I passed with only one week to study! - 4 hours a day with numerous breaks in between!
AP and Biology!l were my main focuses because the other sections were my strengths.

Omgg hi !! I recently took my hesi exam and I passed with a cumulative score of 90%. I ended up getting a 100% on anatomy. I couldn't believe it. I did have an amazing A&P professor though so I give all the credit to him. Nurse Shai and Nurse Hub came in clutch for my grammar, math, and vocabulary sections though. I also used the quizlet study sets for vocabulary and some anatomy.

@@Pros671 I had used all the videos from Nurse Shai and took notes. I really struggled with math so i watched it a few times over and paused the video to work through the problems myself. I was not allowed to have scratch paper though so i had to practice in my head. I also only had a week to study so the more time you have, the better imo!

Where can I get the quizlets?
Thank you for sharing these videos for free. I used this video, biology and the vocabulary review and did well on the hesi a2. I only had a week to cram. I’d suggest using Quizlet in combination with the videos. The vocab video is spot on, so there’s no need for other resources with that video.
I promised myself I’d come back here to comment after getting into a nursing program.
Just a quick correction at 23:38 concerning veins and arteries, I noticed you said veins carry oxygenated blood and arteries carry deoxygenated blood but it’s actually the other way around, veins carry deoxygenated blood and arteries carry oxygenated blood .
hey to future ppl reading this- it’s a lil different in the heart.
The pulmonary artery, which takes blood from the right ventricle to the lungs, carries the deoxygenated blood- even though it’s an artery.
The pulmonary vein takes the freshly oxygenated blood back to the heart in the left atrium where then it gets pumped through the ventricle and aorta to the rest of the body.
I’m doing my retake tomorrow! I got a 75 overall and a 56 on my A&P is what dragged my score down so I’m hoping this helps!

My retake is tomorrow morning so here I am with the refresher! I took 3 days to go over the math video and it honestly helped me understand it. It took 3 days because my home life is a lot with kids lol. I hope I pass tomorrow because im ready to petition for my seat for the fall

This was very helpful however the largest chamber of the heart is the left ventricle not the right ventricle.

Watch nurse shai videos and memorize them also practice makes perfect , DO practice quizzes /, test on nursehub . S T U D Y . I studied for 1 month everyday for 4 hours . I have 3 kids so that's all I could do . I passed every subject because of nurse shai and nurse hub practice quizzes and test. Give yourself time alone to study. Take notes !!

Veins carry deoxygenated blood back towards the heart, with the exception of the pulmonary veins which carry oxygenated blood to the heart directly from the lungs. Arteries carry oxygenated blood towards the body. It wouldn't make sense for the heart to send deoxygenated blood out to the body, you would die. There were lots of typos and every time the description read "nutrients," "nutrition" was said instead and did not make sense. Thank you for the video, but please make a few changes, particularly about the veins vs the arteries as that is very wrong.
Also, for your diagram at 26 minutes and 7 seconds, the location of the right and left bundle branches is incorrect. What is labeled as the right and left bundle branches are actually the Purkinje fibers, the bundle branches are the 2 branches that immediately separate from the Bundle of His, and the Purkinje fibers start at the corner where the branches go from straight up and down to outwards (left and right).
I take my HESI A2 exam on October 1st. I am literally freaking out! I dont even know how describe how terrified I am. How were you able to pass all of the exams? You are seriously incredible!

Great video. How in depth is A and P with the bones and medical terminology if you know? I know there anatomical planes on there but like knowing the bones kind of makes me nervous
Sorry for the late reply. It depends on what version you have. I highly recommend to take A&P first. If not focus on your weaknesses.

I have to take the hesi for dental hygiene, do you think this is all the same material that’ll be on the test?
I am not sure but there are other students enrolled in other programs besides Nursing (comment section) that have used videos like these to help them prepare.
