Agreed! The body itself is very straight! The rockers, floors, firewall, and frame though…. Whoa they are ROUGH! Thanks for watching! It’s going to be a fun project!
Just subscribed! Don’t give up on her! The old girl is rotten, but the best part about these kinds of builds is if you get it back on the road in any shape or form you my friend have won! Keep up the good work, frame is looking good… in the next video I mean!
Thank you for subscribing! 1964 impalas are the car I love most, so I intend to get it roadworthy again. I’m not sure what the engine, suspension or paint will look like yet, but one way or another, it will drive again!
Really enjoy watching the thought process and skills you are using to put this back on the road. Can you describe where you are? Thanks, When was the car last on the road? Was it pulled out of a field? US or Canada? Thanks, looking forward to your next videos.
Thanks for watching! I’m glad that you are enjoying the project so far! I am in Massachusetts, and I found the car on Craigslist. From what I have been told, it sat for many, many years with the windows open. I believe the last inspection sticker was ~2002? Maybe? I forget exactly. It’s a really fun project so far! I can’t wait to do more!
I was watching your frame repair and went had subscribe at number 290. Puddin Fab shop is doing a 1961 on his channel.. for his car he said that it was an $86 patch panel for underneath the backseat. He's out of Oklahoma. Watch his last most current episode because eighty-six bucks sounds a lot better than fabricating assuming that the 64 would also be available. He just put the rest of the floorboards in. If you look at in his comments and replies he tells you where he got the pans at. Just throwing out some possibly helpful information. I've got a 61 and a couple of 62 wagons. I don't know how collectible the 64's are but if they fall in line with the 61 twos and threes, you got a fantastic deal for 500 bucks on yours!
Thanks for subscribing! I do have a new floor for this car already, but I’ve gotta find the time to install it! :) hopefully in the next couple months! It will be great to have a solid floor in it again! It will be waaaaaay more solid!
@@projectcarrescue did you get the supplemental piece for under the back seat? It looks like you we'll need to do some work on the bracing or the floor pan as well. You know I got these cars I'm cheated point where I'm just thinking it's more fun to watch somebody else do it. But I go back and forth. I have a couple of active projects too.

Would love to watch you restore this beauty!
Stay tuned! I have a WHOLE bunch of frame repair coming up next! It’s pretty intense! Thanks for watching!
Wow she is rough!!! I take my hat off for people that are saving these cars! I try to do the same on this side of the pond 🙏🏼
There are so few wagons left, at least in my area, that I just couldn’t resist!
The body lines look surprisingly straight.

Thank you! I’m really enjoying this car a lot!
@Project Car Rescue If you get a chance, check out my 72 Camaro here on YT. Right now my daughter has me working on a Mustang that she bought.
