Why are companies attempting to remove CNC programming knowledge and replace it with purely with CAM software generated code. When there is a problem with a one of the hundreds, possibly thousand or more lines of code, it is so daunting to figure out where to begin to look. Can cycles make it easier to comb. Great videos, by the way. The audio levels are a little low.
Could you use this to make an external hex pattern.? Like to say to make a 1.5" hex could you make it do a straight pass on the x axis on both sides. Then just throw a g68 with an R of 120. Then do it again and R240. Would that work?
that is just to cool, thank you for making it simple.......
Very helpful video! Thanks!

I wanted to ask this so I could program. An external hex in g code on the machine itself. Because the shop I work at doesn't have CAM
thanks
thanks you sir
