Einar's mother is a professional (classical) vocal teacher, so he has been very well trained. I had the chance to have a half an hour singing lesson from him, he definitely knows what he's talking about! He has a lot of experience and he also knows his limits.
Those intervals he sings when he sings "lie" are not easy to sing. He has a very round, fat voice and its absolutely clear no matter if he sings falsetto or chest voice. His tone is unique. The vibrato at the end of "lie" when he sings the chorus is phenomenal. Very unique voice.
The singer is awesome. I haven't seen anyone ever perform like that live, even on RUclips, since maybe Freddie Mercury. Excellent, Leprous!!! ΕΞΑΙΡΕΤΙΚΟΙ.
Wooooow! That was an exceptionally-good performance. Einar is my favourite vocalist, but I admit that I'm not always crazy about how he does things live. This was one of the best I've heard.
That's the best thing about this band, in my opinion : everyone takes his part of the job to make the song sound as magical as can be. Seeing everyone on backing vocals is for me one of the best proof the band is totally dedicated to what they do.
Jeff Tate of Queensryche was a classical trained singer he could do the upper range very well and had power also - just found this band (being a prog artist myself) Leprous is awesome very refreshing doing there own thing very well - cheers
As if the Band in itself would not be great enough but many of their members can switch easily between their instruments. Which makes them even more epic

just discovering Leprous... come here to see how they sound live and I prefer it to the video clip. Im not sure if its just the mic or in house mixing but the drums could sound a lot better. Nothing to do with the drummer... just the mics and eq/reverb.
