There was no audition to find a singer for BABYMETAL. BABYMETAL was in fact formed around Suzuka. Yui and Moa were asked to accompany her, because they were (deadly) cute and already very talented dancers back then and they also knew eachother already. They all were members of the 2010 fresh founded idol project Sakura Gakuin (Cherryblossom Academy). BTW: If you happen to become a BABYMETAL fan or just have further interest in them and their history, feel free to join the BM-Subreddit (www.reddit.com/r/BABYMETAL). There's always a fellow kitsune (that's, what a single BM fan is called), who is willing to answer your questions or just share some thoughts. Alot of nice people there!
Yes, Moa and Yui (BBM) have four songs.... Onedari Daisakusen, Sis Anger and my personal favourites, Song 4 and GJ! (not just because that's my initials! haha) Song 4 is particularly interesting because Yui and Moa actually get co-writing credits, mainly for the lyrics I think.... anyway it's the only Babymetal song so far that has had any creative involvement from any of the girls. We're all hoping that might change with the next album :) btw you've done it AGAIN..... your commentary is drowned out by the music!!! Even the auto subtitles cant hear you! lol
Official the girls are credited for the lyrics and the music. Not the arrangement, production, etc. Which could be that they really did do the lyrics and music, as long as they didn't do the arrangement you could do that in the tour bus.
I suppose it is quite possible that the girls, (or possibly just Moa in her early days of learning guitar) came up with the TWO chords used in the singing sections, and also the basic intro drumbeats (although I'm guessing not the reggae bits!) ...yes, I agree all the rest of the musical arrangement and production was probably done by "professionals".:)

⚡ 💀 💕 Su's other solo that night was 'No Rain, No Rainbow'. It's on the new album, but has only been performed live three times, even though it debuted back in 2013. ☂️ 🌈 It's a slower ballad, but boy is it beautiful.
this is one of their best songs, and one of their most metal one, it's catchy but it's heavy too, and very sad, it's a very sad song!!!. try "syncopation" next! by the way, try to talk louder or mix the music volume a little lower so we can hear you!.

If you want to be really, REALLY moved, and I mean to the point where you look at the world a little differently, check out the other version of Akatsuki, called "Akatsuki Unfinished Version". It's just Suzuka and a piano. It's extremely powerful, I swear she puts so much of herself into it that she starts crying a little at the end. WHOOOAA!! Thanks very much for leading me to it, I looked it up and.... man....! Só awesome! Such a phenomenal voice at 15 years already and she truly gave it her all! Moa and Yui have good voices, but not really voices meant to front a metal band. Their songs are fun though, and tend to be pretty heavy musically.
