That is really great. I can stop the regenerative break and start the sailing mode. I can also take a look at the battery. Ordered one Knop. For the second one I have to buy a Tesla for my wife.

Great review! I want to add that the ability to turn off regen isn't necessarily only for people that do not like regen, but it is a very good option to have in states that get snow. Regen on snowy roads will often lock the brakes causing a slide until it figures itself back out, when it would just be nicer to let off the throttle and coast to get past the slippery spots.
That is a really good point and it works instantly on this device. I was able to toggle it while driving and I could feel the different right away. Thank you.
Just arrived yesterday after 1 1/2 month wait. I was not happy! Installed today in minutes and started feeling a lot better. Nice packaging and super easy install made me very upbeat. My car had the blue plug in back.....nice. Expensive but nobody was twisting my arm to buy it!
I've had the knob for about a week now. Works great most of the time. The things that don't, enhance says they will be updating in the next few months. However it's impossible to find the buttons in the dark without looking down. They are too smooth, and blend in with the rest of the dash. They need to make the buttons more tactile, or put a light on each button. Even looking at the device at night, it's hard to locate the buttons. Not great while driving.
I appreciated the video review, Shiva. I installed mine today and it is worth noting that a lot of what the S3XY buttons can do cannot be done with the knob. That's kind of a shame, as they marketed it to suggest otherwise. Useful feature to add: The ability to turn the a/c fan on/off. I'm hoping they continue to add more of the S3XY button features to the knob, as you'd figure the commander unit would make that very possible.
Been using mine in Sydney for several weeks. Best must have. I keep fan speed and wiper speed in same upper position on all three screens as these are most used. I would love the ability to drop front windows when unlocking driver door.

The only accessory that reallmakes it more easy to use a Tesla. Updates and new features ate comming approximately every 4 weeks. Now i don't need the buttons anymore

How about a three icon per screen option? Many people would be fine with 9 functions total and with three larger icons per screen (pie chart style) it would be easier to select while driving and easier for people with poor eyesight to see.
Easily the BEST aftermarket control for your Telsa Model 3/Y. It's so good, it even looks like it's stock OEM. Amazing! And the added app is a great bonus too - especially the ability to use it like a HUD. Definitely getting one of these. Impressive.
I DM'd Enhance on X and asked about future updates for more features and they told me that steering wheel heater will be an option in a March update. They're also going to add headlights as an option in the future as well, which is the one feature I want/need with this. So far though, I love this knob. My only gripes so far are: If you change the temp/fan/seat heaters/etc on the screen, it'll show on the knob. But, if you change those on the knob, it doesn't change on the screen.
Been waiting on this product for a while - solely for the drive mode wheel option. My other vehicle is a 2015 Chrysler 300 and the gear shift is controlled by a knob in the center console. I love it and when I got the MY, it felt funny going back up to the stock arm like in my old model Expedition. Having the gear shift back to a knob sold me on this unit and will be purchasing asap. Thanks for the review clarifcation. Some of my questions were answered. Since the Knob comes with 4 physical buttons, and there's an app for customization, I thought the Knob could do all the same features the S3XY Buttons could do. Also other products that add physical buttons that plug into the same port as the Knob and Buttons have more useful features. Like moving the front passenger chair forward and back and unlatching the doors for those who find the door handles tricky. Like the Tlyard physical buttons you reviewed or the Teslasy Physical Buttons I saw somewhere else. Fortunately I can reach every door except the rear driver door to open for others. And the moving seats feature would be nice, but I might have needed it before when driving a Model 3. Just got a Model Y so not sure yet. The preconditioning feature I definitely see myself using regularly. And the regen change since I no longer have the Roll option I was used to when driving the Model 3. Other than that, it would be cosmetic device but a cool cosmetic. I like the look of it but for the price and features I like not being there, I might wait a while and consider the other devices first. Is it faster to get the Knob from TSportline or from Enhauto? Enhauto says its still on preorder.

I believe the timing is the same for both Tsportline and Enhauto and it will likely take several weeks to get this product as it is heavily backordered due to enormous interest.

I have a 2024 Highland model 3, can the bluetooth command device be connect at the rear? Can the device be use as left/right indicators by pressing the top left and right button instead of using the steering wheel?
One unavoidable issue is I have a console wrap I really like. I dunno if I can manage to cut a piece of vinyle to match the knob and have it blend in with my wrap that is already there. Maybe...
Great video. I bought the S3XY buttons after your videos. They are great and daisy chained with another product that you’ve recommended. This product is great but would involve me looking off the road too much. Great product if you’re happy to stop all the time or have a passenger to change the setting whilst on the move. Great video

It’s a nice product. I just installed mine tonight. I’ve not driven it yet to test the autopilot upgrade on lane change, but I hope it works well. Mine did have to be rebooted twice already on the first day, as when going to the 3rd menu, it would loose connection. I tried to do the firmware update, and it shows percentage complete,up to when it just starts clocking around 98%, and then never finishes. Network is super strong in my garage, by the way. So far, I’m a little concerned, as day one, and it’s having a number of glitches. I got weird errors in a few places when connecting to my car to allow access. I’ll try the firmware update again tomorrow, but I was just getting discouraged for now.
Thanks for the feedback on this. That is very interesting because mine is working perfectly fine since I installed more than a month ago. I would check the commander piece to make sure the plug is snugged. It reboots if it looses the Bluetooth signal. Please keep me posted and let me know if I need to reach out to Enhance. Thanks.
@@ShivaSapkota - I hear this all the time, across all sorts of reviewers, where someone says: I’ve never had an issue, like their set of one is any real indication of success, lol. Anyway, today I was able to get the firmware upgraded, and it has worked fine since that. I watched one of enhauto’s own videos where in it they even say it may occasionally be necessary to unplug then reinstall the device.

It's unfortunate that the knob won't allow the car to move into neutral. THis would be awesome as the stock is easy to move into D and P an R but neutral can be a bit more finnicky especially if in a hurry like at a car wash. Can you program it to get it to neutral (N)?

It is most probably impossible to get passenger seat control by OTA update, cause in all the products you have to connect wires to seat control buttons. But could be possible replacing wires and adding software support.
Soooo….. I want to take my state-of-the-art interface and add a wheel from 1995? I think not. The Tesla interface has a learning curve but it’s not that bad and when you master it, it’s smooth and way sexier.
It seems as time marches on, we older 2017-2020 Tesla owners (and I bet Intel model owners soon too) are going to be SOL when it comes to all the new mods and toys. Tech loves early adopters when they need your money, but afterwards, you're a week old newspaper 😞

Does anyone have a spare front connector harness for the sexy knob for sale? I accidentally damage a one of the power wire from the cable and it now didn't have any power going in to the commander any longer. Please let me know if you do know where to buy one or have a spare one and you'd like to sell back. By the way, I have the extra rear cable but I still want to connect to the front. Thanks.
On the ODB commander location, is that an 'OR' situation or INSTEAD. Meaning do you either have one or the other or you have your choice betwen both locations. Like if I have the blue connection in back then I dont have the connection in the passenger front?
I was planning on buying the commander v2 to get the continuous autopilot feature. If I were to buy this knob instead, will I not need the commander dongle for this feature? Thanks!
You can daisy chain multiple. The Teslogic comes with only make port so remove that and first connect the S3XY one as that comes with both make and female. Thanks
its a shame that this doesn't work on a 19 or 20 tesla model 3 or Y, I dont even have a tesla but anticipate when I do it will be one of the older ones
I know, I wish they would make a similar products for the older models. I have a 2018 Model 3 and I don't plan on getting rid of it anytime soon. With the ultrasonic sensors, it has more features than my 2023 MY. I had a chat with Enhance yesterday and they will consider making one in the future to support those models. Meanwhile, their S3XY buttons do work on those older cars. Thanks.
Yes, very good product (or it does seems to be). However it’s not fair to start selling a product when you can’t deliver it properly. I’ve paid mine one in January and still waiting. When I bought it they said it was going to be delivered by March. Now the web page says in April and does not seem to be very reliable. Honestly, this things really make me mad.
I have the SEXY buttons and so useful specially quick functions Chill/Sport on quick lane change. The regen adjustability is amazing as I share the car with the wifey specially in the winter on snowy/icy roads.
If they can get this to work for the new model of the M3 without stalks like you mentioned id actually buy it. Still annoyed ab the no turn signal stalk tho.

Excellent review Shiva (as usual) . This appears to be a very well designed and implemented device. It appears that the use of the mobil phone feature provides information similar to the Teslogic unit. Are those comparable? Do you know whether the S3XY knob is compatible with the M3 Highland?
Thank you for your kind words. This is indeed a very well designed and implemented device. Yes, the cluster is quite similar to the Teslogic unit and comparable too. They show similar stats (Teslogic shows slightly more info). The S3XY Knob is compatible with the M3 Highland but they are on a pre-order status right now as they haven't started the production for that car. It will likely be late Spring when the Highland compatible knob will hit the market. Thank you.

Can you use the Commander 2.0 coming with the new sexy buttons with the knob? Or is it a different commander?
On the ODB commander location, is that an 'OR' situation or INSTEAD. Meaning do you either have one or the other or you have your choice betwen both locations. Like if I have the blue connection in back then I dont have the connection in the passenger front?
I was planning on buying the commander v2 to get the continuous autopilot feature. If I were to buy this knob instead, will I not need the commander dongle for this feature? Thanks!
That is correct, the commander comes with this product and you can access the continues autopilot using that commander. Thanks.

You can daisy chain multiple. The Teslogic comes with only make port so remove that and first connect the S3XY one as that comes with both make and female. Thanks

its a shame that this doesn't work on a 19 or 20 tesla model 3 or Y, I dont even have a tesla but anticipate when I do it will be one of the older ones
I know, I wish they would make a similar products for the older models. I have a 2018 Model 3 and I don't plan on getting rid of it anytime soon. With the ultrasonic sensors, it has more features than my 2023 MY. I had a chat with Enhance yesterday and they will consider making one in the future to support those models. Meanwhile, their S3XY buttons do work on those older cars. Thanks.
Quick question- Does the knob retain settings between drives or does the car reset to factory defaults when powered down?

Yes, very good product (or it does seems to be). However it’s not fair to start selling a product when you can’t deliver it properly. I’ve paid mine one in January and still waiting. When I bought it they said it was going to be delivered by March. Now the web page says in April and does not seem to be very reliable. Honestly, this things really make me mad.

I have the SEXY buttons and so useful specially quick functions Chill/Sport on quick lane change. The regen adjustability is amazing as I share the car with the wifey specially in the winter on snowy/icy roads.
Can you say something about changing the regen while driving? How long does it take for the car to move from one regen to another regen?

If they can get this to work for the new model of the M3 without stalks like you mentioned id actually buy it. Still annoyed ab the no turn signal stalk tho.
They said they will have it for the new M3 by May of this year. Yeah its annoying how Tesla got rid of those stalks. Thanks.

@@ShivaSapkota Due to space limitations in that rear console area, I expect you'd need to obtain an expanded cover to fit all the connectors in there. Edit: Oops, sorry. I see you addressed that in the following post.
Excellent review Shiva (as usual) . This appears to be a very well designed and implemented device. It appears that the use of the mobil phone feature provides information similar to the Teslogic unit. Are those comparable? Do you know whether the S3XY knob is compatible with the M3 Highland?
Thank you for your kind words. This is indeed a very well designed and implemented device. Yes, the cluster is quite similar to the Teslogic unit and comparable too. They show similar stats (Teslogic shows slightly more info). The S3XY Knob is compatible with the M3 Highland but they are on a pre-order status right now as they haven't started the production for that car. It will likely be late Spring when the Highland compatible knob will hit the market. Thank you.
