If humanity was a computer, Islam is an update from God. Without this update, your computer won't run. Christians that love Jesus (pbuh) should follow Islam, since one cannot be a Muslim if they do not believe in Jesus. The word Muslim simply means "one who submits their will to God." My dear reader: To explain Islam may take many volumes. To explain Islam in a few pages is more difficult because everything is important, yet what is the quintessence of Islam? However, before sharing with you only a few essential Concepts about Islam, let’s pause for a moment & observe a small glimpse into the Muslim World today. Why has Islam suddenly become the fastest growing Religion in the World while other Religions are declining? The current Muslim Population as at 2014 is 2,1 Billion people, with an annual increase of 35 Million (100,000 per day) New Muslim converts/reverts every year. People who are good, kind, intelligent, doctors, nurses, accountants, lawyers, Professors, Scientists, professionals, Mayors, Ambassadors, Celebrities, Sports stars, Christian Priests, Politicians & ordinary people are embracing Islam in their thousands. What is this mystical & rational appeal of Islam that draws people to it? This is my task that I have undertaken even though there are worthier Souls than myself, who are more qualified than me. I have studied for 12 years to be a Medical Doctor & a Scientist but I have not studied Islamic Studies at a University for 12 years to be a worthy Scholar of Islam. My viewpoint is thus from an “average Muslim” who is trying to live his life as an average Human Being supporting his family & raising his kids, while being hated & despised by some people, for no reason other than for being a “Muslim”. This is something that confuses me, & saddens me deeply. Yet, other Muslims are being killed, physically assaulted & verbally abused for the simple fact that they are “Muslims” - they have not committed any crimes; so it is not only the Police & Soldiers who violate them, it is their fellow neighbours, citizens & strangers. This is “racism” at its worst by supposedly intelligent & technologically advanced people. I had long assumed that racism, witch-hunts & lynch mobbing’s with pitchforks were a thing of the past…but there are people whose brains have not kept pace with the rapid pace of modernity. In terms of Evolution, they are a dying species since they cannot adapt to change fast enough. It reminds me of the days of Apartheid in my beautiful country of birth, when I was hated, mocked & discriminated because my skin colour was not “pink-white.” People of colour such as myself, were denied access to certain public toilets, beaches, park benches, restaurants, cinemas, Hotels, Universities, Hospitals, Libraries, schools, sports events, public transport & many other restrictions that were the exclusive “rights of the whites” with clear signs that stated “Whites Only.” Hence, my whole life of 55 years, strangers have hated me because of my skin & my Religion, & it is now worse on the Internet, when “all Muslims are painted with the same brush”. I have never harmed anyone in my life (even though I have been shot by a home invasion in my left chest & leg). I have done my best to save lives. As a Medical Doctor, I have never asked a person’s Religion before treating them, nor has the colour of their skin been a hindrance to saving a bleeding victim at a roadside accident or in the E.R Trauma unit. Yet, good, decent, kind people have been brainwashed by the Media & Politicians, to hate Muslims (or other Religions & races) & people act on what they see on TV. They bring up hatred for people that they do not know. How can you hate someone who has done you no harm? How can you be so foolish to believe the Media that is controlled by big business & politicians who have their own agenda of greed, money, oil, natural gas, gold & diamonds? In the old days when there was no TV, Colonial Empires would simply invade another nation, kill the people & steal their land & wealth, and write a “history” that suits them. Now because of the Media, countries cannot simply invade another country like the good old days of colonial & imperial powers. Now they have to make up an excuse to invade another country; the most common excuse is that it is for “the safety of the tyrant and for the liberation of the victim” - (aka the victim has plenty of wealth & oil). Everyone remembers the shameful lies by World Leaders on TV, spinning the web of deceit about Iraq’s WMD (weapons of mass destruction) that have still not been found. So what are the invading countries still doing in Iraq? O.B.L. has been killed… so what are the invading forces still doing in Afghanistan? For this strategy to work, a picture of paranoid fear must be created in the minds of the masses that the target country (victim) & its people are less than human, & they need to be killed (and hence, more than 1,3 Million people have been killed since the invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan). The Politicians & big business make the decisions, the voter population is convinced & supports their country whether right or wrong, & millions of innocent people (non-combatants, that is, not soldiers) are killed (including pregnant women, mothers, babies, children, sick, elderly, disabled, school-kids), families are destroyed, infrastructures are destroyed, businesses, schools, hospitals, places of worship, playgrounds, Museums & bridges are bombed by continuous air-raids to subdue the masses & create a mass exodus of people who live as refugees for the next few decades of their lives. In recent decades, the unfortunate victims have been Muslims because there is wealth under their soil - wealth that is meant for their people, but which is in fact stolen by invading Nations in their hunger & greed for power & wealth. So while 3 decades ago, there was the propaganda of the Russian “Red Menace”, today there is the Propaganda of the Muslim “Green Menace.” The word ‘Cry’ in this article, refers to tears that express intense joy or intense sadness. Recently in the past few decades, I have become confused by some Muslims who kill themselves and some Muslims who kill other Muslims, even though killing of self and killing of innocents is clearly forbidden in Islam. This is not the Islam that I know. Yet I am rejuvenated and exhilarated when I read about the Seekers of the Truth who are embracing Islam at the current rate of 100,000 per day! They are not swayed by Media falsehoods and dubious Internet websites. Nay, these amazing Souls read and study about Islam from authentic sources, and therein they find the mesmerizing Beauty, Majesty, Brilliance, Fascination, Logic, and Grandeur that gives a Muslim harmony with the Universe, Peace and absolute contentment. Hence, my basic summary of Islam is to share with you, why Islam is so beloved to me and why I feel so honoured to be part of this Great Religion. There are many myths & ignorance regarding this misunderstood Religion & its misunderstood great leader, the Prophet Mohamed (Peace, salutations, Mercy & Blessings of Allah be upon him), but I do not want to write an Encyclopaedia to dispel the myths, & hence, I leave that for a future date, Insha-Allah (By the Will of God). To limit my writing, I will simply present a list of (few) Concepts that will give you a glimpse into the Basic Teachings of Islam (Islam B2B: Back to Basics): CONCEPT 1: God Exists. This is the Absolute Truth without any doubt. CONCEPT 2: there is Only One God. He is the Supreme Creator Who has Created everything in the Heavens & the Earth. He Gives Life & He takes away Life. Neither Evolutionists nor Scientists can explain “Life” or manufacture “Life” or Transplant “Life” from one patient to another. The Mystery of Life & Death is only Known to God, the Creator of Life & the Creator of Death CONCEPT 3: God cannot be described by any shape or form or Anthropomorphic features, nor can He be limited in Time or Space, since He is “Light upon Light” and “No vision can grasp Him, though He Grasps everything.” We have been Granted a tiny Glimpse of Him through His many Beautiful Names & Attributes such as: The Merciful One; the Forgiving One; the Loving One; the Perfect One; the Kind One; the Compassionate One; The Generous One; The Cherisher; the Sustainer; the Powerful One; the Master of the Day of Judgement; the Guide; the Judge; the Protector; the Helper; the Supreme Creator; the Eternal One; The Gentle One; The Self-Existing One, the All-Knowing One and so on, having more than 99 such Attributes. All these Names & Attributes are contained within the word “Allah.” That is why Muslims prefer using the word “Allah” instead of “God” because the word “Allah” reminds the user of all the Beautiful & Perfect Attributes of the Most Merciful of the Merciful Creator, while the word “God” is empty of any emotional meaning. However, for purposes of ease of communication, when I use the word “God” I am referring to Allah, the One & Only True God Who Created me & Created you & to Whom we all shall return, without any doubt whatsoever (irrespective of your beliefs or lack of belief). CONCEPT 4: God is the Supreme Creator… Everything else is the creation. Only the Creator (God) should be worshipped. None of the creation should be worshipped. There is no god or entity worthy of worship, except Allah (Sub'ha'na'hu Wa Ta'ala: Glory and Praise be to Him), the One True God CONCEPT 5: God has been in Existence before Time & Space & Matter. Everything was Magnificently Lit up by the Exquisite, Shimmering & Awe-inspiring Light of God. There was no Darkness because God’s Light is all Powerful & pervaded everything. No one knows for how long God existed Alone in Eternity. That is Only in His Supreme Knowledge CONCEPT 6: God then Created the Pen, Matter, the Heavens, the Earth, Night & Day, Life & Death, Physical Dimension & Spiritual Dimension (with Multiverses & Multiple Dimensions only in His Knowledge), Light & Darkness and everything else that we find in the Earth (land, water, soil, life forms, air etc.). God also Created 7 Heavens or Firmaments, each one larger than the other one, with the lowest one being our Physical Universe containing more than 500 Billion Galaxies, with each Galaxy (Like our Milky Way) containing Trillions upon Trillions of Stars, Planets, Comets & Solar Systems. God Created Life Forms in the Heavens, such as Angels, as well as other life forms of which we have no knowledge. CONCEPT 7: when God wants to Create anything, no matter how complicated it is, He simply says “Be!”, & that creation comes into existence faster than the speed of Thought. So when the Universe was totally empty, with no Physical Matter, no galaxies, no stars, no Black holes etc., God simply said “Be!” (Kun-Fa’ya-Koon: Be…and it is!) & the entire Universe & all its Laws of Mathematics & Physics came into existence through the process which we call the “Big Bang” about 14 Billion years ago; however, unlike “big bang explosions on Earth which are destructive”, God’s Big Bang is “a highly constructive Creative Magnificent process that gave rise to our beautiful planet & the stunning Universe where everything is spinning & orbiting with Mathematical Precision.” We get fascinated when a Juggler spins 20 plates at the same time. Now can you imagine that in the Universe, there are Trillions, upon Trillions upon Trillions of huge Planets and Stars, all of them spinning, spinning, and spinning with perfect mathematical precision in clearly defined Orbits. Can some people be so intellectually challenged as to assume that all of this Precision “just happened?” Our Solar System & Planet Earth started taking shape about 4,5 Billion years ago. Everything in the Lowest Heaven (that is, the Entire Universe containing 500 Billion Galaxies including our Planet Earth) have all been made up of “Matter” - something that can be detected by our senses & can be studied by Science. This is known as the “Physical” or “Material” Dimension. In parallel to this Material Dimension, is a “Spiritual” or “Transcendental” Dimension that cannot be seen or detected by our senses & cannot be measured or studied by Science. The Basis of the Scientific Method is the Study of phenomena that can be observed (either by our senses or technology). If it cannot be observed, it cannot be measured or tested. Hence, those people who don’t believe in God, don’t believe in Angels and don’t believe in Heaven, work on the Principle of Seeing is Believing. They want to “see” God before they will believe in Him. On the other hand, Religious and Deeply Spiritual people, have developed a stage higher than the Intellect: for them, they work on the Principle of Believing is Seeing. They don’t need to “see” God: they know without a shadow of a doubt that He Exists, because of the Millions of Signs, Ayats and Evidences that He has left for us, that all bear His flawless and Perfect Signature in the awe-inspiring Beautiful and Perfect Artistry in Nature from the billions of Brain Cells to the Billions of Galaxies. Astrophysicists have calculated that all the known matter in the Universe (Galaxies, Stars, Planets, Comets, Space Debris etc), only makes up about 5% of the Total Mass of the Universe. The “empty space” between Stars and Galaxies is not actually empty, but it makes up 95% of the Mass of the Universe. This baffling Paradox has been termed Black Matter or Anti-Matter or Dark Energy. Hence, those people who Believe in the One True God and can see beyond the Physical World into the Spiritual Dimension, are at a far higher level of Wisdom, than those people who are merely trapped in this Physical Dimension, and tragically assume that there is “nothing after Death” CONCEPT 8: the size & duration of existence of the Physical Dimension, in comparison to the Spiritual Dimension is very, very small. Consider two simple examples: if you live on Earth for 100 years, the future ahead is Eternity or Infinity. 100 years divided by Infinity= Zero. Even if the Earth exists for another Billion years, Billion divided by Infinity is again = Zero. So the “Time” of existence of the “Physical” Dimension does not even make a blip on the Infinity Before & the Infinity Ahead. In Contrast, the Spiritual Transcendental Dimension is beyond our imagination in terms of Time & Space: it is Infinitely large with no End, & it is Infinitely long in duration with no End, & it is not outside the Physical Dimension, but it pervades through the Physical Dimension. A simple example to understand this concept is as follows: the Ocean on Earth has Trillions upon Trillions upon Trillions (Quadrillions) of Litres of Water. Now imagine there is only ONE small Goldfish living in this voluminous Ocean all alone & there is nothing else. The small Goldfish represents the Physical Dimension (Earth, Milky Way and 500 Billion Galaxies), while the whole Ocean (which is around & inside the Goldfish) represents the Spiritual Dimension. Similarly, a human being is made up of a Physical Body (which can be studied by Science) & a Spiritual Soul (which cannot be studied by Science). God is not sitting somewhere on a distant Galaxy: He is closer to you than your Jugular Vein. He has appointed Angels to Guard you, & Angels to Record your every Deed. Science cannot Study Angels even though they are sitting on the shoulders of every Scientist & Atheist & Evolutionist. CONCEPT 9: to have an idea of the comparative sizes of the Heavens, the Prophet Mohamed (Peace, salutations, Mercy & Blessings be upon him) gave us the following analogy: The size of the First Heaven (Lowest Firmament) in comparison to the 2nd Heaven, is like a small ring in a large desert. Imagine that you are standing in the middle of the Sahara Desert & you put a small ring on the sand. That ring represents the 1st Heaven (our Physical Universe with 500 Billion Galaxies, each has Trillions of Stars) - if that small ring represents 500 Billion Galaxies, then our Earth will be so small on that scale that it is invisible - it simply does not exist. The size of the rest of the huge desert is the size of the 2nd Heaven compared to the ring. How many rings can fit on the sands of a huge desert? Billions? Trillions? So the 2nd Heaven is Billions of times larger than the 1st Heaven comprising 500 Billion Galaxies. So if we think that our Universe is large, it is nothing compared to the size of the 2nd Heaven. Then the size of the 2nd Heaven, in comparison to the 3rd Heaven, is like a small ring in the middle of a huge desert {in this case, the ring now represents the entire Sahara desert with the first small ring}-please pause and ponder to understand this important concept & the size scales. The size of the 3rd Heaven compared to the 4th Heaven, is like a small ring in the middle of a large desert. The size of the 4th Heaven compared to the 5th Heaven, is like a small ring in the middle of a large desert. The size of the 5th Heaven compared to the 6th Heaven is like a small ring in the middle of a large Desert. The size of the 6th Heaven compared to the 7th Heaven is like a small ring in the middle of a large desert. The size of the 7th Heaven, compared to the Footstool of God, is like a small ring in the middle of the Desert. The size of the Throne of God is unimaginably larger than can be comprehended by the human mind. As you can see, the Physical Dimension is like a grain of sand on a beach compared to the Spiritual Dimension. Each Firmament (Heaven) is Billions or Trillions of times larger than the one below it. CONCEPT 10: common sense and our rational intellect therefore draw us to the inevitable conclusion that our main Goals in Life should be towards developing our future life in the Spiritual Dimension, & not be deluded by the temporary illusion of the Physical Dimension. Those who are mesmerized by this life, have not yet evolved to a higher stage of their Intellect, which is the understanding of the Transcendental Unseen Reality. One day soon, our Earth & all its contents will be turned to dust & will be consumed by our Sun as it enters its Death stage of an expanding Red Giant Star. Our Physical world as we know it will no longer exist - only the Spiritual World (called the “Hereafter” in Islam) will continue for Infinity into the Future, as it has existed for Infinity in the Past. The above is simply a birds-eye-view of the Physical Dimension (tiny in size & very short Time compared to Infinity) versus the Spiritual Transcendental Dimensions (infinitely large Space & Infinitely long Time), so that you, my dear reader, can have a clearer grasp of the Concepts that follow, which now deal with why and for what purpose did human beings come to live on a remote Planet called Earth CONCEPT 11: God Created a very special creation called a Human. God Created his physical body in the Best of Moulds; God gave him a Soul, God Gave him an Intellect; God gave him feelings that emerge from the heart; God then Breathed into him something of Himself, which made this special creation come to Life. God then Taught him the Knowledge of all things. This Unique Creation is totally different from any other Creation, since he has been Created to be a Vicegerent or Representative of God on Earth. Before that could happen, God offered a very Powerful Trust to all the creatures & creations in the Heavens & the Earth. Everyone refused to carry the great burden of this Trust, yet the Human stood up & volunteered. What is so special about this Powerful Trust & why has the rest of all creation, including the Heavens, the Earth, the Mountains & all creatures refused this Trust? CONCEPT 12: The Powerful Trust: Allah (Glorified be His Name) Granted a Choice to every creation: they can either worship Him voluntarily (like a built-in instinct) or, they can accept the Powerful Trust of the Free Will which simply means that the creation can either worship God or refuse to worship God & they can make whatever other decisions that they want to make. However, the burden is that the Gift of Free Will comes with huge responsibilities. Man, by nature is curious & welcomed the “freedom” of the Free Will. So what does this mean? MANKIND: has accepted Free Will and the responsibilities & burdens that go with it. The rest of creation, have not accepted the Burden of the Free Will. What does this mean for them? REST OF CREATION: The rest of creation is without sin. They worship only Allah (Sub'ha'na'hu Wa Ta'ala) and nothing else. Secondly, they obey & fulfil every Command of their Lord with speed & excellence. There is no delay. They do this because they have no choice in the matter - they don’t have a Free Will, & hence, they do not commit sins & will not be judged on the Day of Judgement. Each creation worships God in its own way: for example, the early morning chorus of birds chirping, is their Glorification & Praise of God, their Creator HUMAN BEINGS: In contrast, for a human being his Free Will can lend him (her; I will simply use “he” to refer to both genders please) in all sorts of problems. First, a human can decide that he does not want to worship his Creator, Allah, the Only True God and Lord of everything known & unknown. Instead, he can decide to worship a man-made god, or the god that his family worships, or an idol, or a female man-made-goddess or he can simply decide “there is no God.” Second, when God Commands Mankind to do certain deeds that are good for them, & to refrain from other things that are harmful to them, a human being with his Free Will can simply ignore the Commands of God. For example, Adultery and killing are forbidden in most Religions, yet people still kill and still commit Adultery in blatant violation of the Commands of their Creator. A person with a free will can decide to be a force of evil & refuses to believe in the Day of Judgement & the Hereafter. However, with all these decisions, comes the responsibility to face God One Day, & to give an account for all your actions, deeds & misdeeds. Did you use your Free Will for the betterment of Society or did you use your Free Will to oppress others, trample the weak, lust after greed, wealth, killing of innocent people & defrauding other people? Or did you use your Free Will to read & study the Final Divine Scripture (Qur’an) from your Creator, to guide you so that you can be a symbol of goodness, kindness, compassion, love & helpfulness to all creatures great & small, including humans, animals, plants, fish, oceans, atmosphere & the Environment, so that you leave behind a wonderful legacy for the next generation by encouraging the good, & forbidding the evil. CONCEPT 13: So now we have a Unique Human Being who has a Body in the Physical Dimension and a Soul in the Spiritual Dimension. He is born totally pure & without sin. His choices in Life regarding his Free Will, will be guided by his Intellect & Heart (feelings; conscience). Furthermore, God has Granted him knowledge in all things: that means that all discoveries, inventions & technological advances of the past, present & future are already in the Human Brain & just waiting for the “Right Time, Right Place and Right Circumstances” to utilise this God-Given Knowledge. CONCEPT 14: God Commanded all the Angels to Bow down to Adam, the very first Human Creation. This signifies the very lofty status of Mankind, since God did not instruct the Angels to bow down to any other of the creations. Hence, all the Angels bowed down, except one. He is known as Iblis, Satan, Devil or Shay’taan. There was only one main reason why Satan refused to bow to Adam: he said to God: You Created me from Fire, while you Created him from dust. This haughty arrogance & pride of Satan has led to his downfall & will also lead to the downfall of human beings who are also haughty & arrogant (the concept of “I am better than you”; I have a better car; I have a better house; I have better clothes; etc.). Satan was to be banished immediately from this August & Royal Gathering, but he asked for a period of respite from God, to give him a chance until the Day of Judgement before he is Punished. So God Granted this request. Satan then stated that he will be the enemy of Human Beings & will deceive them & mislead them so that he can get as many people as possible to join him in Hell. He will wait along the Straight Path that leads to God, but he will have no effect on the sincere Believers in Allah (SWT) CONCEPT 15: God then Created a female partner for Adam and directed them both to stay in Heaven in mutual love, joy & harmony. We all know that every new product has to be tested. So God decided to test this First Couple how they will use their Free Will. So God instructed them that they can enjoy all the delights of Paradise, except that they should not come near a certain Tree. Satan then started his method of deception because his single-minded-focus is to get human beings out of Paradise. So by his cunning whispers, both Adam & Eve (who were trusting & soft-hearted), used their Free Will, they made a choice & they approached the Forbidden Tree & thereby broke the Command of their Lord & Creator. CONCEPT 16: God then sent Mankind (as represented by Adam & Eve) & Satan to fight their battles on Earth for a temporary time only. Adam & Eve realised their error & asked God to Forgive them. God is the Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful, and so He Forgave them (hence, no original sin). But God wants Mankind to have success. What is this success? Is it money & fast cars? No. Remember that Mankind was given Paradise (Heaven) for Free on a Silver Platter. But because of their mistake, they no longer have a free pass into Heaven, but now they have to earn their way back to Heaven, their Original Home. But many will fall along the wayside because they will be deceived by Satan. His most serious deception is to confuse the minds of people that Allah (SWT) is not the True God, so humans must worship someone else, or even worship Satan. CONCEPT 17: However, God in His Mercy Forgave this initial sin of Mankind so that every human being is born pure & totally without sin. Secondly, God reminded Adam & Eve, that he will not abandon Mankind. From time to time, God will send Divine Scriptures & special Messengers Chosen by Him to guide the people, give them a criterion to judge between right & wrong & keep reminding every new generation of people that their Creator is Allah, & that there is no god worthy of worship except Allah, the One True God. Furthermore, the Scriptures and Messengers (Prophets) will also give a warning to Mankind, that if they reject these primordial reminders about their origin & Final Return, and if they reject the One True God, then they will bear the burden of the Free Will which has misled them away from the straight Path through the cunning deceptions of Satan, the sworn enemy of Mankind. CONCEPT 18: in summary therefore, the Unity of God means: all the Divine Scriptures have come from Allah. Some of the earlier Divine Scriptures have been totally lost; in other cases, there have been additions & removals from the text through political & Priestly interference. The ONLY Divine Scripture that has not been changed is the Holy Qur’an, the Latest & Final Divine Scripture & Guidance for all of Mankind. Furthermore, the Unity of God means that all the Prophets (such as Adam, Noah, Solomon, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Mohamed -peace be upon them all) came with many guidelines for living, but the Central Core Message of every single Prophet has been the same: there is no god worthy of worship, except Allah. Hence, every Prophet from God is a Muslim. Those people who listened to the Prophets in their generations and were convinced of the Truth of their Message, were also Muslims. Hence, Islam is not the “last” Religion for Mankind; instead, it is the very First Religion that the Prophet Adam followed because he was Created by God, he saw the Angels, he saw Paradise & he knew that it is Allah (SWT) Who Created him & that all creatures in the Heavens & the Earth all worship the same Lord & Creator, Allah. Hence, Muslims attain a state of peace when they worship Allah, because they are in Harmony with every other creation from the atom to the Galaxies, from the Birds to the whales who are all worshipping their Lord & Creator, Allah (SWT). Those people who do not worship Allah, or reject Him or deny Him, will always be searching for peace because something is missing from their lives. They are in disharmony with the rest of creation because they have turned away from their True Centre & instead of worshipping & submitting their Free Will to the Divine Will, they have made a Choice to worship something else (or totally deny the existence of God) CONCEPT 19: A person who becomes (converts or reverts back to his roots) a New Muslim, all their past sins in life are forgiven, and they start with a brand new open Book. CONCEPT 20: Muslims who perform their Pilgrimage of Hajj, all their past sins are Forgiven and they start life again with a brand new open Book CONCEPT 21: every child is born pure without sin and is Born a Muslim until the age of Understanding (7-12 years) CONCEPT 22: the root words S, L, M all make up the word “Peace”; hence, muSLiM; SaLaaM; iSLaaM; A Muslim is a person who obtains a mind, body, soul & heart that are at Peace, because their Free Will, is now in harmony with the Divine Will & rest of the Universe CONCEPT 23: several important concepts of Faith relate to a Muslim, as he or she strives to higher & higher Spiritual Development & Purification of the Soul. The 3 Core ones are: Islam; Imaan; Ih’saan. A Muslim lives in this World, with his/her Goal firmly fixed on the Hereafter. A Muslim prays for success & goodness in both the temporary Physical Dimension as well as the Everlasting Transcendental Spiritual Dimension CONCEPT 24: Islam (Muslim): A person who follows the way of Islam is known as a Muslim. Such a person must first & foremost have an unshakeable belief in Allah, as the Only God worthy of Worship. This is the 1st Pillar of Islam. Then come the other Pillars of Prayer, Fasting, Charity & Hajj CONCEPT 25: Imaan (Mu’meen): Higher level of Faith where the Muslim is now known as a Mu’meen. He/she believes in Allah, the Angels, all the Divinely sent Prophets, the Divine Scriptures, the Decree, the Hereafter & the Day of Judgement. Islam refers to the “outer” dimensions of Islam, while Imaan & Ih’saan relate to the inner Spiritual Dimensions CONCEPT 26: Ih’saan (Muh’si’noon; Muh’si’neen): Highest level of Faith. This is striving towards quality, goodness and excellence in everything that you are doing with the awareness that you are watching God in front of you, and even though you cannot see God, you know for sure, that He certainly watches you (It is the concept of being under CCTV Camera surveillance 24/7 & in this way, evil deeds are avoided; read Hadith Jib’ra’eel) CONCEPT 27: I’lm (Ha’keem): This is the seeking of knowledge. Wisdom is only obtained through reading the Qur’an. Intelligence is your ability to deal with secular subjects. When Adam (Peace be upon him was Created), God taught him all types of Knowledge. The First Revelation to the Prophet Mohamed (peace be upon him) who was illiterate, is “Iq’raa” which means Read! Recite! Proclaim! Furthermore, the Qur’an keeps encouraging the reader to ponder, understand, study, contemplate & marvel at all the Signs of the Creator (such as the Clouds, Flowers, Rain, Lightning, Thunder, Stars, Moon, human body etc.). Hence, development of the intellect is an essential part of being a Muslim. Knowledge is the basis of the above 3 Levels of Faith CONCEPT 28: Tak’wa (Mut’ta’qi’): God-consciousness combined with sincerity, fear, awe and love of God. It is knowing that God is observing you, so you don’t want to do any actions to earn his disappointment in you, but you want to strive at all times to earn His Pleasure with humility, sincerity & awe at His Majesty CONCEPT 29: Intention (Ni’yaah): the Foundation of everything, from your initial entry as a Muslim, to your search for knowledge & spiritual development. Who are you doing this for? If any of your actions or deeds are to earn name & fame, then your deeds are wasted. But if you do them sincerely, purely out of love for your Creator & to earn His Pleasure, then your only concern is to Please Him irrespective of what the rest of the world thinks of you. This sincerity of intention is the Foundation, the rock-bed upon which your entire Faith of Islam stands on. Chapter 2 (Qur’an) describes the 3 types of people in Medina during the lifetime of the Prophet (Peace be upon him): Believers; Unbelievers; Hypocrites (insincere; deception) CONCEPT 30: Doctrine of Personal Responsibility vs. Doctrine of Vicarious Responsibility. This simply means that each & every person is responsible & accountable for their own actions on the Day of Judgement. If you have killed someone, you cannot claim that your “uncle” (vicarious) will go to jail on your behalf. On the other hand, a sincere Muslim knows that before he can demand his rights from anyone, he has to fulfil his duties to God, to others, to his soul, to his neighbours, parents, boss, employees, the poor, needy, oppressed, to animals, plants, birds, oceans, rivers, atmosphere, environment and to his duties as a leader or follower or a president or citizen. He must be so busy with “duties” that he has no time marching in the street demanding his “rights” CONCEPT 31: There is direct access between a Muslim and his Creator. A Muslim does not need a priest or a statue or anything else to communicate with God. If you want help, or forgiveness or guidance or anything else, all that you have to do is raise the two hands and talk to Him wherever you are, day or Night. The most preferable times are when it is raining; on Pilgrimage; on Fridays (midday & last hour of the day) every night between midnight & Dawn; while you are prostrating with your face on the floor: this is the most pious & humble position that any creature can attain in front of the Supreme Creator & Lord of all the Worlds, Allah (SWT). CONCEPT 32: There is no compulsion in Religion. Islam is simply a Golden Royal Invitation from the Lord of the Worlds, for you to read His Final Divine Guidance & embrace the Fold of Islam, so that you can travel on the Straight Path & find your way back to your Original (Real) Home in Heaven instead of being lost forever in misery for Eternity CONCEPT 33: After Death, all Human Beings & life forms will be Resurrected (brought back to life) & brought in front of their Lord, Allah (SWT) for Judgement. This is a Day that will last for 50,000 years, so that all the injustices, killings, tyrannies & oppressions can be rectified. The greatest burdens will be on the Presidents and Leaders of Nations, since they have the responsibility of many millions of people under their rule. They will be questioned on everything open and secret. Everything has been recorded in a clear Book of Deeds CONCEPT 34: All the Prophets will come with their followers marching behind them. All Prophets are Muslims; all their sincere followers in each generation are Muslims. All those who deviated away from the original teachings of their Prophets will be those who have strayed or who have rejected their teachings. All of Mankind will be divided into 3 Categories: Category 1: Mu’qar’ra’boon, S56:V11-V26: Those nearest to Allah and foremost in Faith Category 2: As’haab-ul-Mai’ma’na, S56:V27-V40: Companions of the Right Hand (Everlasting Bliss) Category 3: As’haab-ul-Mash’a’ma, S56:V41-V56: Companions of the Left Hand (Everlasting Misery) Those in Paradise will be in the Company of those whom they love. My dear, dear reader. There is so much more that I would like to share with you. I wish we were sharing a few cups of coffee and having a wonderful discussion where you can ask me hundreds of questions and my delight would be to answer them to the best of my ability, to share my knowledge and time with you. I love being in the Company of people who can teach me, and I love being in the company of people who are sincerely seeking the Truth, so that I can share my little knowledge with them. (S10:V99) The Spiritual Birth of Humanity originated with the Revelation of the Qur’an that has been sent by the Lord of all Creation, to His Special Creation, Mankind. The Intellect is the Highest Gift Granted to Human Beings. A Greater Gift, however, is the Spiritual Gift, that gives a human being dazzling yet brief glimpses of awareness into the Spiritual Dimension, the Origin of our Home and the Final Return to it. The Creator could have made all of us identical to each other and worshipping the same Religion. This is easy for Him. Yet he made us identical, then put very thin wrapping paper around each of us as we are presented as a Gift to Humanity. Instead of looking at the Gift inside, human beings started hated each other, killing each other, enslaving each other simply because of the different shades of wrapping paper with which they have come to Earth. From its beginnings Islam has preached hatred, harshness and vengeance against unbelievers with the vindictive bloodthirsty warlord 'Muhammad' as the direct opposite of Jesus the Prince of Peace, Compassion and Forgiveness. Cruce Signatus You missed out Matthew 10: 34 The verses you quoted are in context of the war of Badr and the intended annihilation of Islam. Matthew 10: 34 and the verses you quoted from the Noble Qur’an, both are inevitable where Evil would try to suppress the Good even as it is now.

So Krishna allows lying for personal benefits. No wonder why so many Hindu fanatics use lie and deceit to mock others. Many Hindus are unaware of these verses and they mock others by using their own invented lies. Cry, My Beloved Islam - By Dr Ahmed Adam
My dear reader: To explain Islam may take many volumes. To explain Islam in a few pages is more difficult because everything is important, yet what is the quintessence of Islam? However, before sharing with you only a few essential Concepts about Islam, let’s pause for a moment & observe a small glimpse into the Muslim World today. Why has Islam suddenly become the fastest growing Religion in the World while other Religions are declining? The current Muslim Population as at 2014 is 2,1 Billion people, with an annual increase of 35 Million (100,000 per day) New Muslim converts/reverts every year. People who are good, kind, intelligent, doctors, nurses, accountants, lawyers, Professors, Scientists, professionals, Mayors, Ambassadors, Celebrities, Sports stars, Christian Priests, Politicians & ordinary people are embracing Islam in their thousands. What is this mystical & rational appeal of Islam that draws people to it? This is my task that I have undertaken even though there are worthier Souls than myself, who are more qualified than me. I have studied for 12 years to be a Medical Doctor & a Scientist but I have not studied Islamic Studies at a University for 12 years to be a worthy Scholar of Islam. My viewpoint is thus from an “average Muslim” who is trying to live his life as an average Human Being supporting his family & raising his kids, while being hated & despised by some people, for no reason other than for being a “Muslim”. This is something that confuses me, & saddens me deeply. Yet, other Muslims are being killed, physically assaulted & verbally abused for the simple fact that they are “Muslims” - they have not committed any crimes; so it is not only the Police & Soldiers who violate them, it is their fellow neighbours, citizens & strangers. This is “racism” at its worst by supposedly intelligent & technologically advanced people. I had long assumed that racism, witch-hunts & lynch mobbing’s with pitchforks were a thing of the past…but there are people whose brains have not kept pace with the rapid pace of modernity. In terms of Evolution, they are a dying species since they cannot adapt to change fast enough. It reminds me of the days of Apartheid in my beautiful country of birth, when I was hated, mocked & discriminated because my skin colour was not “pink-white.” People of colour such as myself, were denied access to certain public toilets, beaches, park benches, restaurants, cinemas, Hotels, Universities, Hospitals, Libraries, schools, sports events, public transport & many other restrictions that were the exclusive “rights of the whites” with clear signs that stated “Whites Only.” Hence, my whole life of 55 years, strangers have hated me because of my skin & my Religion, & it is now worse on the Internet, when “all Muslims are painted with the same brush”. I have never harmed anyone in my life (even though I have been shot by a home invasion in my left chest & leg). I have done my best to save lives. As a Medical Doctor, I have never asked a person’s Religion before treating them, nor has the colour of their skin been a hindrance to saving a bleeding victim at a roadside accident or in the E.R Trauma unit. Yet, good, decent, kind people have been brainwashed by the Media & Politicians, to hate Muslims (or other Religions & races) & people act on what they see on TV. They bring up hatred for people that they do not know. How can you hate someone who has done you no harm? How can you be so foolish to believe the Media that is controlled by big business & politicians who have their own agenda of greed, money, oil, natural gas, gold & diamonds? In the old days when there was no TV, Colonial Empires would simply invade another nation, kill the people & steal their land & wealth, and write a “history” that suits them. Now because of the Media, countries cannot simply invade another country like the good old days of colonial & imperial powers. Now they have to make up an excuse to invade another country; the most common excuse is that it is for “the safety of the tyrant and for the liberation of the victim” - (aka the victim has plenty of wealth & oil). Everyone remembers the shameful lies by World Leaders on TV, spinning the web of deceit about Iraq’s WMD (weapons of mass destruction) that have still not been found. So what are the invading countries still doing in Iraq? O.B.L. has been killed… so what are the invading forces still doing in Afghanistan? For this strategy to work, a picture of paranoid fear must be created in the minds of the masses that the target country (victim) & its people are less than human, & they need to be killed (and hence, more than 1,3 Million people have been killed since the invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan). The Politicians & big business make the decisions, the voter population is convinced & supports their country whether right or wrong, & millions of innocent people (non-combatants, that is, not soldiers) are killed (including pregnant women, mothers, babies, children, sick, elderly, disabled, school-kids), families are destroyed, infrastructures are destroyed, businesses, schools, hospitals, places of worship, playgrounds, Museums & bridges are bombed by continuous air-raids to subdue the masses & create a mass exodus of people who live as refugees for the next few decades of their lives. In recent decades, the unfortunate victims have been Muslims because there is wealth under their soil - wealth that is meant for their people, but which is in fact stolen by invading Nations in their hunger & greed for power & wealth. So while 3 decades ago, there was the propaganda of the Russian “Red Menace”, today there is the Propaganda of the Muslim “Green Menace.” The word ‘Cry’ in this article, refers to tears that express intense joy or intense sadness. Recently in the past few decades, I have become confused by some Muslims who kill themselves and some Muslims who kill other Muslims, even though killing of self and killing of innocents is clearly forbidden in Islam. This is not the Islam that I know. Yet I am rejuvenated and exhilarated when I read about the Seekers of the Truth who are embracing Islam at the current rate of 100,000 per day! They are not swayed by Media falsehoods and dubious Internet websites. Nay, these amazing Souls read and study about Islam from authentic sources, and therein they find the mesmerizing Beauty, Majesty, Brilliance, Fascination, Logic, and Grandeur that gives a Muslim harmony with the Universe, Peace and absolute contentment.
Hence, my basic summary of Islam is to share with you, why Islam is so beloved to me and why I feel so honoured to be part of this Great Religion. There are many myths & ignorance regarding this misunderstood Religion & its misunderstood great leader, the Prophet Mohamed (Peace, salutations, Mercy & Blessings of Allah be upon him), but I do not want to write an Encyclopaedia to dispel the myths, & hence, I leave that for a future date, Insha-Allah (By the Will of God). To limit my writing, I will simply present a list of (few) Concepts that will give you a glimpse into the Basic Teachings of Islam (Islam B2B: Back to Basics):
CONCEPT 1: God Exists. This is the Absolute Truth without any doubt.
CONCEPT 2: there is Only One God. He is the Supreme Creator Who has Created everything in the Heavens & the Earth. He Gives Life & He takes away Life. Neither Evolutionists nor Scientists can explain “Life” or manufacture “Life” or Transplant “Life” from one patient to another. The Mystery of Life & Death is only Known to God, the Creator of Life & the Creator of Death
CONCEPT 3: God cannot be described by any shape or form or Anthropomorphic features, nor can He be limited in Time or Space, since He is “Light upon Light” and “No vision can grasp Him, though He Grasps everything.” We have been Granted a tiny Glimpse of Him through His many Beautiful Names & Attributes such as: The Merciful One; the Forgiving One; the Loving One; the Perfect One; the Kind One; the Compassionate One; The Generous One; The Cherisher; the Sustainer; the Powerful One; the Master of the Day of Judgement; the Guide; the Judge; the Protector; the Helper; the Supreme Creator; the Eternal One; The Gentle One; The Self-Existing One, the All-Knowing One and so on, having more than 99 such Attributes. All these Names & Attributes are contained within the word “Allah.” That is why Muslims prefer using the word “Allah” instead of “God” because the word “Allah” reminds the user of all the Beautiful & Perfect Attributes of the Most Merciful of the Merciful Creator, while the word “God” is empty of any emotional meaning. However, for purposes of ease of communication, when I use the word “God” I am referring to Allah, the One & Only True God Who Created me & Created you & to Whom we all shall return, without any doubt whatsoever (irrespective of your beliefs or lack of belief).
CONCEPT 4: God is the Supreme Creator… Everything else is the creation. Only the Creator (God) should be worshipped. None of the creation should be worshipped. There is no god or entity worthy of worship, except Allah (Sub'ha'na'hu Wa Ta'ala: Glory and Praise be to Him), the One True God
CONCEPT 5: God has been in Existence before Time & Space & Matter. Everything was Magnificently Lit up by the Exquisite, Shimmering & Awe-inspiring Light of God. There was no Darkness because God’s Light is all Powerful & pervaded everything. No one knows for how long God existed Alone in Eternity. That is Only in His Supreme Knowledge
CONCEPT 6: God then Created the Pen, Matter, the Heavens, the Earth, Night & Day, Life & Death, Physical Dimension & Spiritual Dimension (with Multiverses & Multiple Dimensions only in His Knowledge), Light & Darkness and everything else that we find in the Earth (land, water, soil, life forms, air etc.). God also Created 7 Heavens or Firmaments, each one larger than the other one, with the lowest one being our Physical Universe containing more than 500 Billion Galaxies, with each Galaxy (Like our Milky Way) containing Trillions upon Trillions of Stars, Planets, Comets & Solar Systems. God Created Life Forms in the Heavens, such as Angels, as well as other life forms of which we have no knowledge.
CONCEPT 7: when God wants to Create anything, no matter how complicated it is, He simply says “Be!”, & that creation comes into existence faster than the speed of Thought. So when the Universe was totally empty, with no Physical Matter, no galaxies, no stars, no Black holes etc., God simply said “Be!” (Kun-Fa’ya-Koon: Be…and it is!) & the entire Universe & all its Laws of Mathematics & Physics came into existence through the process which we call the “Big Bang” about 14 Billion years ago; however, unlike “big bang explosions on Earth which are destructive”, God’s Big Bang is “a highly constructive Creative Magnificent process that gave rise to our beautiful planet & the stunning Universe where everything is spinning & orbiting with Mathematical Precision.” We get fascinated when a Juggler spins 20 plates at the same time. Now can you imagine that in the Universe, there are Trillions, upon Trillions upon Trillions of huge Planets and Stars, all of them spinning, spinning, and spinning with perfect mathematical precision in clearly defined Orbits. Can some people be so intellectually challenged as to assume that all of this Precision “just happened?” Our Solar System & Planet Earth started taking shape about 4,5 Billion years ago. Everything in the Lowest Heaven (that is, the Entire Universe containing 500 Billion Galaxies including our Planet Earth) have all been made up of “Matter” - something that can be detected by our senses & can be studied by Science. This is known as the “Physical” or “Material” Dimension. In parallel to this Material Dimension, is a “Spiritual” or “Transcendental” Dimension that cannot be seen or detected by our senses & cannot be measured or studied by Science. The Basis of the Scientific Method is the Study of phenomena that can be observed (either by our senses or technology). If it cannot be observed, it cannot be measured or tested. Hence, those people who don’t believe in God, don’t believe in Angels and don’t believe in Heaven, work on the Principle of Seeing is Believing. They want to “see” God before they will believe in Him. On the other hand, Religious and Deeply Spiritual people, have developed a stage higher than the Intellect: for them, they work on the Principle of Believing is Seeing. They don’t need to “see” God: they know without a shadow of a doubt that He Exists, because of the Millions of Signs, Ayats and Evidences that He has left for us, that all bear His flawless and Perfect Signature in the awe-inspiring Beautiful and Perfect Artistry in Nature from the billions of Brain Cells to the Billions of Galaxies. Astrophysicists have calculated that all the known matter in the Universe (Galaxies, Stars, Planets, Comets, Space Debris etc), only makes up about 5% of the Total Mass of the Universe. The “empty space” between Stars and Galaxies is not actually empty, but it makes up 95% of the Mass of the Universe. This baffling Paradox has been termed Black Matter or Anti-Matter or Dark Energy. Hence, those people who Believe in the One True God and can see beyond the Physical World into the Spiritual Dimension, are at a far higher level of Wisdom, than those people who are merely trapped in this Physical Dimension, and tragically assume that there is “nothing after Death”
CONCEPT 8: the size & duration of existence of the Physical Dimension, in comparison to the Spiritual Dimension is very, very small. Consider two simple examples: if you live on Earth for 100 years, the future ahead is Eternity or Infinity. 100 years divided by Infinity= Zero. Even if the Earth exists for another Billion years, Billion divided by Infinity is again = Zero. So the “Time” of existence of the “Physical” Dimension does not even make a blip on the Infinity Before & the Infinity Ahead. In Contrast, the Spiritual Transcendental Dimension is beyond our imagination in terms of Time & Space: it is Infinitely large with no End, & it is Infinitely long in duration with no End, & it is not outside the Physical Dimension, but it pervades through the Physical Dimension. A simple example to understand this concept is as follows: the Ocean on Earth has Trillions upon Trillions upon Trillions (Quadrillions) of Litres of Water. Now imagine there is only ONE small Goldfish living in this voluminous Ocean all alone & there is nothing else. The small Goldfish represents the Physical Dimension (Earth, Milky Way and 500 Billion Galaxies), while the whole Ocean (which is around & inside the Goldfish) represents the Spiritual Dimension. Similarly, a human being is made up of a Physical Body (which can be studied by Science) & a Spiritual Soul (which cannot be studied by Science). God is not sitting somewhere on a distant Galaxy: He is closer to you than your Jugular Vein. He has appointed Angels to Guard you, & Angels to Record your every Deed. Science cannot Study Angels even though they are sitting on the shoulders of every Scientist & Atheist & Evolutionist.
CONCEPT 9: to have an idea of the comparative sizes of the Heavens, the Prophet Mohamed (Peace, salutations, Mercy & Blessings be upon him) gave us the following analogy:
The size of the First Heaven (Lowest Firmament) in comparison to the 2nd Heaven, is like a small ring in a large desert. Imagine that you are standing in the middle of the Sahara Desert & you put a small ring on the sand. That ring represents the 1st Heaven (our Physical Universe with 500 Billion Galaxies, each has Trillions of Stars) - if that small ring represents 500 Billion Galaxies, then our Earth will be so small on that scale that it is invisible - it simply does not exist. The size of the rest of the huge desert is the size of the 2nd Heaven compared to the ring. How many rings can fit on the sands of a huge desert? Billions? Trillions? So the 2nd Heaven is Billions of times larger than the 1st Heaven comprising 500 Billion Galaxies. So if we think that our Universe is large, it is nothing compared to the size of the 2nd Heaven. Then the size of the 2nd Heaven, in comparison to the 3rd Heaven, is like a small ring in the middle of a huge desert {in this case, the ring now represents the entire Sahara desert with the first small ring}-please pause and ponder to understand this important concept & the size scales. The size of the 3rd Heaven compared to the 4th Heaven, is like a small ring in the middle of a large desert. The size of the 4th Heaven compared to the 5th Heaven, is like a small ring in the middle of a large desert. The size of the 5th Heaven compared to the 6th Heaven is like a small ring in the middle of a large Desert. The size of the 6th Heaven compared to the 7th Heaven is like a small ring in the middle of a large desert. The size of the 7th Heaven, compared to the Footstool of God, is like a small ring in the middle of the Desert. The size of the Throne of God is unimaginably larger than can be comprehended by the human mind. As you can see, the Physical Dimension is like a grain of sand on a beach compared to the Spiritual Dimension. Each Firmament (Heaven) is Billions or Trillions of times larger than the one below it.
CONCEPT 10: common sense and our rational intellect therefore draw us to the inevitable conclusion that our main Goals in Life should be towards developing our future life in the Spiritual Dimension, & not be deluded by the temporary illusion of the Physical Dimension. Those who are mesmerized by this life, have not yet evolved to a higher stage of their Intellect, which is the understanding of the Transcendental Unseen Reality. One day soon, our Earth & all its contents will be turned to dust & will be consumed by our Sun as it enters its Death stage of an expanding Red Giant Star. Our Physical world as we know it will no longer exist - only the Spiritual World (called the “Hereafter” in Islam) will continue for Infinity into the Future, as it has existed for Infinity in the Past.
The above is simply a birds-eye-view of the Physical Dimension (tiny in size & very short Time compared to Infinity) versus the Spiritual Transcendental Dimensions (infinitely large Space & Infinitely long Time), so that you, my dear reader, can have a clearer grasp of the Concepts that follow, which now deal with why and for what purpose did human beings come to live on a remote Planet called Earth
CONCEPT 11: God Created a very special creation called a Human. God Created his physical body in the Best of Moulds; God gave him a Soul, God Gave him an Intellect; God gave him feelings that emerge from the heart; God then Breathed into him something of Himself, which made this special creation come to Life. God then Taught him the Knowledge of all things. This Unique Creation is totally different from any other Creation, since he has been Created to be a Vicegerent or Representative of God on Earth. Before that could happen, God offered a very Powerful Trust to all the creatures & creations in the Heavens & the Earth. Everyone refused to carry the great burden of this Trust, yet the Human stood up & volunteered. What is so special about this Powerful Trust & why has the rest of all creation, including the Heavens, the Earth, the Mountains & all creatures refused this Trust?
CONCEPT 12: The Powerful Trust: Allah (Glorified be His Name) Granted a Choice to every creation: they can either worship Him voluntarily (like a built-in instinct) or, they can accept the Powerful Trust of the Free Will which simply means that the creation can either worship God or refuse to worship God & they can make whatever other decisions that they want to make. However, the burden is that the Gift of Free Will comes with huge responsibilities. Man, by nature is curious & welcomed the “freedom” of the Free Will. So what does this mean?
MANKIND: has accepted Free Will and the responsibilities & burdens that go with it. The rest of creation, have not accepted the Burden of the Free Will. What does this mean for them?
REST OF CREATION: The rest of creation is without sin. They worship only Allah (Sub'ha'na'hu Wa Ta'ala) and nothing else. Secondly, they obey & fulfil every Command of their Lord with speed & excellence. There is no delay. They do this because they have no choice in the matter - they don’t have a Free Will, & hence, they do not commit sins & will not be judged on the Day of Judgement. Each creation worships God in its own way: for example, the early morning chorus of birds chirping, is their Glorification & Praise of God, their Creator
HUMAN BEINGS: In contrast, for a human being his Free Will can lend him (her; I will simply use “he” to refer to both genders please) in all sorts of problems. First, a human can decide that he does not want to worship his Creator, Allah, the Only True God and Lord of everything known & unknown. Instead, he can decide to worship a man-made god, or the god that his family worships, or an idol, or a female man-made-goddess or he can simply decide “there is no God.” Second, when God Commands Mankind to do certain deeds that are good for them, & to refrain from other things that are harmful to them, a human being with his Free Will can simply ignore the Commands of God. For example, Adultery and killing are forbidden in most Religions, yet people still kill and still commit Adultery in blatant violation of the Commands of their Creator. A person with a free will can decide to be a force of evil & refuses to believe in the Day of Judgement & the Hereafter. However, with all these decisions, comes the responsibility to face God One Day, & to give an account for all your actions, deeds & misdeeds. Did you use your Free Will for the betterment of Society or did you use your Free Will to oppress others, trample the weak, lust after greed, wealth, killing of innocent people & defrauding other people? Or did you use your Free Will to read & study the Final Divine Scripture (Qur’an) from your Creator, to guide you so that you can be a symbol of goodness, kindness, compassion, love & helpfulness to all creatures great & small, including humans, animals, plants, fish, oceans, atmosphere & the Environment, so that you leave behind a wonderful legacy for the next generation by encouraging the good, & forbidding the evil.
CONCEPT 13: So now we have a Unique Human Being who has a Body in the Physical Dimension and a Soul in the Spiritual Dimension. He is born totally pure & without sin. His choices in Life regarding his Free Will, will be guided by his Intellect & Heart (feelings; conscience). Furthermore, God has Granted him knowledge in all things: that means that all discoveries, inventions & technological advances of the past, present & future are already in the Human Brain & just waiting for the “Right Time, Right Place and Right Circumstances” to utilise this God-Given Knowledge.
CONCEPT 14: God Commanded all the Angels to Bow down to Adam, the very first Human Creation. This signifies the very lofty status of Mankind, since God did not instruct the Angels to bow down to any other of the creations. Hence, all the Angels bowed down, except one. He is known as Iblis, Satan, Devil or Shay’taan. There was only one main reason why Satan refused to bow to Adam: he said to God: You Created me from Fire, while you Created him from dust. This haughty arrogance & pride of Satan has led to his downfall & will also lead to the downfall of human beings who are also haughty & arrogant (the concept of “I am better than you”; I have a better car; I have a better house; I have better clothes; etc.). Satan was to be banished immediately from this August & Royal Gathering, but he asked for a period of respite from God, to give him a chance until the Day of Judgement before he is Punished. So God Granted this request. Satan then stated that he will be the enemy of Human Beings & will deceive them & mislead them so that he can get as many people as possible to join him in Hell. He will wait along the Straight Path that leads to God, but he will have no effect on the sincere Believers in Allah (SWT)
CONCEPT 15: God then Created a female partner for Adam and directed them both to stay in Heaven in mutual love, joy & harmony. We all know that every new product has to be tested. So God decided to test this First Couple how they will use their Free Will. So God instructed them that they can enjoy all the delights of Paradise, except that they should not come near a certain Tree. Satan then started his method of deception because his single-minded-focus is to get human beings out of Paradise. So by his cunning whispers, both Adam & Eve (who were trusting & soft-hearted), used their Free Will, they made a choice & they approached the Forbidden Tree & thereby broke the Command of their Lord & Creator.
CONCEPT 16: God then sent Mankind (as represented by Adam & Eve) & Satan to fight their battles on Earth for a temporary time only. Adam & Eve realised their error & asked God to Forgive them. God is the Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful, and so He Forgave them (hence, no original sin). But God wants Mankind to have success. What is this success? Is it money & fast cars? No. Remember that Mankind was given Paradise (Heaven) for Free on a Silver Platter. But because of their mistake, they no longer have a free pass into Heaven, but now they have to earn their way back to Heaven, their Original Home. But many will fall along the wayside because they will be deceived by Satan. His most serious deception is to confuse the minds of people that Allah (SWT) is not the True God, so humans must worship someone else, or even worship Satan.
CONCEPT 17: However, God in His Mercy Forgave this initial sin of Mankind so that every human being is born pure & totally without sin. Secondly, God reminded Adam & Eve, that he will not abandon Mankind. From time to time, God will send Divine Scriptures & special Messengers Chosen by Him to guide the people, give them a criterion to judge between right & wrong & keep reminding every new generation of people that their Creator is Allah, & that there is no god worthy of worship except Allah, the One True God. Furthermore, the Scriptures and Messengers (Prophets) will also give a warning to Mankind, that if they reject these primordial reminders about their origin & Final Return, and if they reject the One True God, then they will bear the burden of the Free Will which has misled them away from the straight Path through the cunning deceptions of Satan, the sworn enemy of Mankind.
CONCEPT 18: in summary therefore, the Unity of God means: all the Divine Scriptures have come from Allah. Some of the earlier Divine Scriptures have been totally lost; in other cases, there have been additions & removals from the text through political & Priestly interference. The ONLY Divine Scripture that has not been changed is the Holy Qur’an, the Latest & Final Divine Scripture & Guidance for all of Mankind. Furthermore, the Unity of God means that all the Prophets (such as Adam, Noah, Solomon, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Mohamed -peace be upon them all) came with many guidelines for living, but the Central Core Message of every single Prophet has been the same: there is no god worthy of worship, except Allah. Hence, every Prophet from God is a Muslim. Those people who listened to the Prophets in their generations and were convinced of the Truth of their Message, were also Muslims. Hence, Islam is not the “last” Religion for Mankind; instead, it is the very First Religion that the Prophet Adam followed because he was Created by God, he saw the Angels, he saw Paradise & he knew that it is Allah (SWT) Who Created him & that all creatures in the Heavens & the Earth all worship the same Lord & Creator, Allah. Hence, Muslims attain a state of peace when they worship Allah, because they are in Harmony with every other creation from the atom to the Galaxies, from the Birds to the whales who are all worshipping their Lord & Creator, Allah (SWT). Those people who do not worship Allah, or reject Him or deny Him, will always be searching for peace because something is missing from their lives. They are in disharmony with the rest of creation because they have turned away from their True Centre & instead of worshipping & submitting their Free Will to the Divine Will, they have made a Choice to worship something else (or totally deny the existence of God)
CONCEPT 19: A person who becomes (converts or reverts back to his roots) a New Muslim, all their past sins in life are forgiven, and they start with a brand new open Book.
CONCEPT 20: Muslims who perform their Pilgrimage of Hajj, all their past sins are Forgiven and they start life again with a brand new open Book
CONCEPT 21: every child is born pure without sin and is Born a Muslim until the age of Understanding (7-12 years)
CONCEPT 22: the root words S, L, M all make up the word “Peace”; hence, muSLiM; SaLaaM; iSLaaM; A Muslim is a person who obtains a mind, body, soul & heart that are at Peace, because their Free Will, is now in harmony with the Divine Will & rest of the Universe
CONCEPT 23: several important concepts of Faith relate to a Muslim, as he or she strives to higher & higher Spiritual Development & Purification of the Soul. The 3 Core ones are: Islam; Imaan; Ih’saan. A Muslim lives in this World, with his/her Goal firmly fixed on the Hereafter. A Muslim prays for success & goodness in both the temporary Physical Dimension as well as the Everlasting Transcendental Spiritual Dimension
CONCEPT 24: Islam (Muslim): A person who follows the way of Islam is known as a Muslim. Such a person must first & foremost have an unshakeable belief in Allah, as the Only God worthy of Worship. This is the 1st Pillar of Islam. Then come the other Pillars of Prayer, Fasting, Charity & Hajj
CONCEPT 25: Imaan (Mu’meen): Higher level of Faith where the Muslim is now known as a Mu’meen. He/she believes in Allah, the Angels, all the Divinely sent Prophets, the Divine Scriptures, the Decree, the Hereafter & the Day of Judgement. Islam refers to the “outer” dimensions of Islam, while Imaan & Ih’saan relate to the inner Spiritual Dimensions
CONCEPT 26: Ih’saan (Muh’si’noon; Muh’si’neen): Highest level of Faith. This is striving towards quality, goodness and excellence in everything that you are doing with the awareness that you are watching God in front of you, and even though you cannot see God, you know for sure, that He certainly watches you (It is the concept of being under CCTV Camera surveillance 24/7 & in this way, evil deeds are avoided; read Hadith Jib’ra’eel)
CONCEPT 27: I’lm (Ha’keem): This is the seeking of knowledge. Wisdom is only obtained through reading the Qur’an. Intelligence is your ability to deal with secular subjects. When Adam (Peace be upon him was Created), God taught him all types of Knowledge. The First Revelation to the Prophet Mohamed (peace be upon him) who was illiterate, is “Iq’raa” which means Read! Recite! Proclaim! Furthermore, the Qur’an keeps encouraging the reader to ponder, understand, study, contemplate & marvel at all the Signs of the Creator (such as the Clouds, Flowers, Rain, Lightning, Thunder, Stars, Moon, human body etc.). Hence, development of the intellect is an essential part of being a Muslim. Knowledge is the basis of the above 3 Levels of Faith
CONCEPT 28: Tak’wa (Mut’ta’qi’): God-consciousness combined with sincerity, fear, awe and love of God. It is knowing that God is observing you, so you don’t want to do any actions to earn his disappointment in you, but you want to strive at all times to earn His Pleasure with humility, sincerity & awe at His Majesty
CONCEPT 29: Intention (Ni’yaah): the Foundation of everything, from your initial entry as a Muslim, to your search for knowledge & spiritual development. Who are you doing this for? If any of your actions or deeds are to earn name & fame, then your deeds are wasted. But if you do them sincerely, purely out of love for your Creator & to earn His Pleasure, then your only concern is to Please Him irrespective of what the rest of the world thinks of you. This sincerity of intention is the Foundation, the rock-bed upon which your entire Faith of Islam stands on. Chapter 2 (Qur’an) describes the 3 types of people in Medina during the lifetime of the Prophet (Peace be upon him): Believers; Unbelievers; Hypocrites (insincere; deception)
CONCEPT 30: Doctrine of Personal Responsibility vs. Doctrine of Vicarious Responsibility. This simply means that each & every person is responsible & accountable for their own actions on the Day of Judgement. If you have killed someone, you cannot claim that your “uncle” (vicarious) will go to jail on your behalf. On the other hand, a sincere Muslim knows that before he can demand his rights from anyone, he has to fulfil his duties to God, to others, to his soul, to his neighbours, parents, boss, employees, the poor, needy, oppressed, to animals, plants, birds, oceans, rivers, atmosphere, environment and to his duties as a leader or follower or a president or citizen. He must be so busy with “duties” that he has no time marching in the street demanding his “rights”
CONCEPT 31: There is direct access between a Muslim and his Creator. A Muslim does not need a priest or a statue or anything else to communicate with God. If you want help, or forgiveness or guidance or anything else, all that you have to do is raise the two hands and talk to Him wherever you are, day or Night. The most preferable times are when it is raining; on Pilgrimage; on Fridays (midday & last hour of the day) every night between midnight & Dawn; while you are prostrating with your face on the floor: this is the most pious & humble position that any creature can attain in front of the Supreme Creator & Lord of all the Worlds, Allah (SWT).
CONCEPT 32: There is no compulsion in Religion. Islam is simply a Golden Royal Invitation from the Lord of the Worlds, for you to read His Final Divine Guidance & embrace the Fold of Islam, so that you can travel on the Straight Path & find your way back to your Original (Real) Home in Heaven instead of being lost forever in misery for Eternity
CONCEPT 33: After Death, all Human Beings & life forms will be Resurrected (brought back to life) & brought in front of their Lord, Allah (SWT) for Judgement. This is a Day that will last for 50,000 years, so that all the injustices, killings, tyrannies & oppressions can be rectified. The greatest burdens will be on the Presidents and Leaders of Nations, since they have the responsibility of many millions of people under their rule. They will be questioned on everything open and secret. Everything has been recorded in a clear Book of Deeds
CONCEPT 34: All the Prophets will come with their followers marching behind them. All Prophets are Muslims; all their sincere followers in each generation are Muslims. All those who deviated away from the original teachings of their Prophets will be those who have strayed or who have rejected their teachings. All of Mankind will be divided into 3 Categories:
Category 1: Mu’qar’ra’boon, S56:V11-V26:
Those nearest to Allah and foremost in Faith
Category 2: As’haab-ul-Mai’ma’na, S56:V27-V40:
Companions of the Right Hand (Everlasting Bliss)
Category 3: As’haab-ul-Mash’a’ma, S56:V41-V56:
Companions of the Left Hand (Everlasting Misery)
Those in Paradise will be in the Company of those whom they love. My dear, dear reader. There is so much more that I would like to share with you. I wish we were sharing a few cups of coffee and having a wonderful discussion where you can ask me hundreds of questions and my delight would be to answer them to the best of my ability, to share my knowledge and time with you. The Spiritual Birth of Humanity originated with the Revelation of the Qur’an that has been sent by the Lord of all Creation, to His Special Creation, Mankind. The Intellect is the Highest Gift Granted to Human Beings. A Greater Gift, however, is the Spiritual Gift, that gives a human being dazzling yet brief glimpses of awareness into the Spiritual Dimension, the Origin of our Home and the Final Return to it. The Creator could have made all of us identical to each other and worshipping the same Religion. This is easy for Him. Yet he made us identical, then put very thin wrapping paper around each of us as we are presented as a Gift to Humanity. Instead of looking at the Gift inside, human beings started hated each other, killing each other, enslaving each other simply because of the different shades of wrapping paper with which they have come to Earth. Is it so difficult for 21st Century advanced educated people to look beyond the gift paper (skin)?

From its beginnings Islam has preached hatred, harshness and vengeance against unbelievers with the vindictive bloodthirsty warlord 'Muhammad' as the direct opposite of Jesus the Prince of Peace, Compassion and Forgiveness. Eg:
(Quran 48.29) - "Muhammad is the messenger of Allah and those with him are harsh against the unbelievers but merciful among themselves."
(Quran 5.33) "The only reward of those who oppose Allah and His messenger [Muhammad] and strive after 'fitna' [disbelief] in the land is that they will be killed, crucified, or have their hands and feet on alternate sides cut off, or will be expelled out of the land. Such will be their degradation in the world, and in the Hereafter theirs will be an awful doom"

Only Jesus Christ is the truth the way and the light. There have been no people who had NDE and saw Muhammad or Buddha when they died and came back.
