There are a couple of things that people usually miss about the whole turning the other cheek thing. Giving a second chance and showing you're the bigger person is not the same as continually tolerating abuse. As soon as you run out of cheeks, it's time to stop turning and I think we're there. There's a lot of verses like that that are poorly understood. ,"The meek shall inherit the earth" is not really an accurate translation, as the word that gets translated as meek can be more accurately translated to something like a person who knows how to use a sword but doesn't rush to use it. In other words, don't match irrational impulse with irrational impulse, as we are all prone to stupid rash decisions. But at the point where it becomes clear the other person didn't just make a mistake but is actively being malevolent, it's time to draw the sword.
What's extra sad about this is that an alarming amount of people peddle nonsense everywhere to downplay the role of the harassers on Pikamee's graduation writing it off as if "It was always the plan."

Hogwarts Legacy is a LONG game. There's no way Pikamee would announce her retirement this quick had she been able to stream Hogwarts Legacy as planned. Thank you for addressing the discrepancies with VOMS statement and video. You don't use the word "sudden" or have to apologize to a pop up shop manager if this change was planned in advance. Pikamee probably was considering retiring eventually. It wouldn't surprise me if she shared her thoughts with others about it either. (Lord know my parents have been saying they plan to retire for about 4 years now.) The backlash she received probably just pushed her to move forward with it.
Both can be true. The planning for the pop-up store had to have been made months in advance. This not something you can just do overnight, because the venue has to be available and booked, and the one it's being held at may not even have been the first one he had in mind. It's very well possible that Pika had already told him she wanted to quit, but either hadn't picked date yet, or that he tried to keep her on board till at least after the event was over. When she then gets bullied and in response to it tells him she wants out asap, that threw a wrench in his planning and could have caused issues with the venue if one of the talents they'd be selling merch for would be out shortly before the end of the event. Luckily, the venue said it was fine, so the event could be held as planned, and it's possible he and Pika then agreed on March 31 as her final day.

But ironically enough, ever since he was betrayed by his Vshojo “friends”, he has completely thrown out that beliefs (he still said it but didn’t follow it anymore). He chose not to attack Vshojo when it happened but to wisely use a clear and serious display of evidence to clear his name. And on the flip side, later chose to unfairly attack people like the lolisho community and Rev who weren’t doing anything wrong.
It's clear the harassment was a main contributing factor for the very abrupt fast forwarded plans on graduation though. What assets? VOMS is not a company, but a project run solely by one man - GYARI. It's possible that Pika had thought about quitting early on, but probably didn't plan on doing so until later in the year, hence why she never said anything about it. In January, during her first break, something changed, and she was starting to give it more thought, maybe wondering if she should quit earlier. It's possible that this is what she discussed with Pomu at the time. Then, the wizard game shitstorm started. There are a couple of things that people usually miss about the whole turning the other cheek thing. Giving a second chance and showing you're the bigger person is not the same as continually tolerating abuse. As soon as you run out of cheeks, it's time to stop turning and I think we're there.
There's a lot of verses like that that are poorly understood. ,"The meek shall inherit the earth" is not really an accurate translation, as the word that gets translated as meek can be more accurately translated to something like a person who knows how to use a sword but doesn't rush to use it. But at the point where it becomes clear the other person didn't just make a mistake but is actively being malevolent, it's time to draw the sword.

Thank you for addressing the discrepancies with VOMS statement and video. You don't use the word "sudden" or have to apologize to a pop up shop manager if this change was planned in advance. Pikamee probably was considering retiring eventually. It wouldn't surprise me if she shared her thoughts with others about it either. (Lord know my parents have been saying they plan to retire for about 4 years now.) The backlash she received probably just pushed her to move forward with it.

The planning for the pop-up store had to have been made months in advance. This not something you can just do overnight, because the venue has to be available and booked, and the one it's being held at may not even have been the first one he had in mind.
It's very well possible that Pika had already told him she wanted to quit, but either hadn't picked date yet, or that he tried to keep her on board till at least after the event was over. When she then gets bullied and in response to it tells him she wants out asap, that threw a wrench in his planning and could have caused issues with the venue if one of the talents they'd be selling merch for would be out shortly before the end of the event. Luckily, the venue said it was fine, so the event could be held as planned, and it's possible he and Pika then agreed on March 31 as her final day.

But ironically enough, ever since he was betrayed by his Vshojo “friends”, he has completely thrown out that beliefs (he still said it but didn’t follow it anymore).

It's possible that Pika had thought about quitting early on, but probably didn't plan on doing so until later in the year, hence why she never said anything about it.
In January, during her first break, something changed, and she was starting to give it more thought, maybe wondering if she should quit earlier. It's possible that this is what she discussed with Pomu at the time.
Then, the wizard game shitstorm started. She got a lot of negativity thrown at her, probably suffered a mental breakdown, had a chat with Kson about it, and told her she had enough and wanted out.
When she then told GYARI, he was caught off-guard, because he didn't expect her to leave so soon and had already made arrangement for the group's third anniversary, which he probably invested quite some money in, and could be facing a big loss if he was forced to take out the Pikamee merch. After double-checking with the venue if all was still okay, he gave her the a-okay to stop by the end of this month.
