Garri is a staple food in many west African countries. it is made from cassava root, which is dried, ground and fried untill it becomes powdered.
Garri can be mixed with hot water to form a dish called eba (swallow), eba can be eaten with variety of soups such as Egusi soup, efo riro and Garri is also sometimes used as thickener in soups.
Garri can also be eaten alone as a snack, mixed with sugar and water 💦
