tip for mattress if you have ordered an ikea bed you will need an ikea mattress cause ikea beds come bigger then normal ones I've just made that mistake :)

You don’t, I have the exact bed she is getting and a normal silentnight mattress and its completely fine and fits perfectly just measure the bed. Ikea mattresses are very thin and bad quality for the price they are and usually sprung not memory foam

Ikea used to do European sizing so the mattresses used to have to be from Ikea if the bed was, but they changed it a good few years ago, now in the UK the beds are Standard UK sizing so you can get your mattress anywhere. My beds from Ikea but my mattress isn’t and it fits perfectly

Places like the range and b&m are really good for cute little bits for your bedroom and bathroom as well! My boyfriend and I moved in together this year and we got so much from there. Also dying to go to ikea and primark now haha. Absolutely loving these vlogs atm ✨

Because you have an ikea bed, I would recommend an ikea mattress so that you know it will fit the bed x
Yeah their beds are different sizes compared to other beds so a mattress from somewhere else won't fit!
I have an ikea bed and not an ikea mattress and it fits perfectly! You just have to be precise about the measurements of the bed!
And their mattresses are the best

About the mattress, try going in dreams or a bed place to try some out as otherwise you could get one which is super uncomfy and hurt your back! They say a mattress is the most important thing and it obv lasts you for years so try and find a good one which you love! Xx

One thing I will say is when your buying a mattress don’t get an ikea memory foam one they are cheap but superrrr uncomfortable like one gave me a really bad backache cause there bad quality xxx
