Zip Tie Gun Shootout Pt 1 of 5 The Good Stuff

Part 1 of 5 is the comparison of a some different zip tie guns on the market now. Look for parts 2-5 for more details on each model.

Great review - thanks. I much prefer the Panduit GTS-E to the Ty-Rap, mainly because it's smoother and pulls and cuts on either side of the zip tie instead of the only one side on the Ty-Rap.

We have Panduit (multiple models) and also some of the cheapies - one of our GS2B-E guns was stolen on a job and the client is replacing it. I was thinking of trying the Ty-Rap, but what do you mean by "pulls and cuts either side"?
Do you mean the smooth side and the ridged side of the ziptie? or something else? We find this has more to do with the zip-tie than the gun.
One thing we have noticed vs the other guns we have (some similar to this video) is the panduit cuts the closest and cleanest.
Fun fact: The GTS-E and the GS2B-E are the same gun, with the exception of a metal housing, and huge cost difference.
Both can be had on Ebay for reasonable prices (~$100 to $150).
