while you made the game, my experience with it is entirely mine, and that's why i had 8 whole minutes of video to fill. maybe it didn't look like much when y'all were messing with the engine but from my end it took me 90 hours before i finished chapter 14 and they were all amazing. good luck with alabaster and thanks for the comment

I loved how fresh and engaging the combat is and how seamlessly it integrates with the puzzle element of the gameplay. And honestly following Lea as she finds friends in the game is so heartwarming. I think modern media has gotten unfairly sour on friendship stories but CrossCode proves pretty well how great they can be when they're done even just competently. I don't think CrossCode is a masterpiece for the ages, but it is a competently made game that is fun, original and made with heart, and that's what we need more of.

The only game I bought twice so far, on GOG and then on Steam. Mostly because it was 50% off on GOG and when I was done it was 50% off on Steam, but it deserved the full price.
Also because the GOG version didn't have achievements. :D
Fortunately the in-game achievements actually carried over so I didn't have to work on everything all over again and could do a chill new game+ with the in-game cheats, much to Apollo's frustration. :P
