Honestly I'm not at all surprised the Japanese took such heavy casualities, when the defenders have prepared positions, it's a massive force multiplier (maybe a bit less in-game then in real life but still).
Historically storming fixed defenses would the worst tactic to deal with them and using that tactic may it so that World War 1 lasted 4 years and the frontline barely moved at all dispite the casualties on both sides rivaling the populations of small nations.

I take some pride in my knowledge of the English language, and my ability to utilise that knowledge - and I think you're missing out if you take the "there's no need to ever swear" position. Swearing exists for a reason. It exists because it grants an emotional punch that other language does not. There's a reason we all swear when we get genuinely angry or stub our toes haha. @@headwaves6986 poverty everywhere in the cities, beautiful countrtysides. I went to Singapore before Vietnam, and Singapore was great. It was a very modern city. Then, when I got to Vietnam, it was kinda dissapointing. The reason I went there was to sing with my choir. We sang at the United States embassy in Singapore and many other places. Vietnam was cool in some ways. I was 11 when I went, last summer, and I could set my own prices for souvenirs. Check out the RUclipsr Colin Abroadcast, he would explain it better. I hope I spelled his name right. One time a lady grabbed me and pulled me into her shop. There was homless people in every alleyway. That is pretty much it.

I think the explanation for the accuracy of the French would be the veterency gain it wouldnt suprise me that at the begining most were only level 1 or 2 but as seen with enrico i reckon the guys on the wall had reached level 4 or 5 by the time things got going.

Unfortunately, Diplex mostly doesnt give attackers artillery support to soften defences, so it usually looks like some kind of Tower Defense instead of real war, when attackers come in waves and just die :( Real people are not zergs, they hate to die and try to avoid it at all costs.
