I go to my local speed shop and pick up a copy of race page, even it's more geared to track life, it would be nice to see an online mag what's going on in the streets. I mean ya'll can do what's going down at local spot next, test hits , money talk car and driver type stuff...ya'll got my vote 100%

Hi guys,I love your show.i just turned 62 yesterday and been around cars since im 12 after school..i worked pumping gas in a Sunoco station.the oners and my cousin where partners and had all tippers of hot rods.i remember when high test gas was 98 pure and purple and 24 cents a gallon.i bought my first 67 ss chevelle blue 396 for1.800 dolla4s and it was 3 years old.those were the good old days.you can buy a daily driver for less then 100.00 dollars.So guys have a good night and love ya all
I think the 10 second car is a good place to start. Alot of guys building cheap cars shoot for 10s because it's fairly affordable and theres no rules for needing a cage at that point. But like everything gotta make progress. My 72 valiant is a 4 Dr with a turbo 5.3 th400/ 8.8 rear on a small tire. It should easily foot brake low 10s. Hopefully some more go fast/ safety parts after this season

California is a beautiful state but I'm glad I got out when I did. I was born and raised in San Diego until I was 17 but my family eventually migrated to Oklahoma City and I prefer Oklahoma better than California. Especially since my exhaust is sticking out of my fender and I don't think California would like that very much lol

My wheelhouse has always been sleeper cars. Im not really interested in 8 and 9 second cars as much as i am into the 10 second and up cars that look like junkers or restomods. Average guys that go out on the weekend to have some fun and talk smack to each other. I grew up in indy in the late 80’s and early 90’s and had a s10 with a 383 stroker and a 4 speed that was a lot of fun. I couldnt hang with the serious racers with big budgets, but had a whole lotta fun trolling. We did things like putting snow tires on because they looked completely unassuming and most people didnt happen to think how soft snow tires were. Those tires could damn near hook on gravel, lol. I know times hav changed. : ) Love watching you guys. Good luck this year.

We have a great group of guys here in K-town on Rocky top in East Tennessee that get together every weekend when the weather allows. About 25-30 cars show up and we go until the sun comes up . The streets are alive in K-town when the sun goes down.

There is a misconception about the california muffler law. It has always been there since 200-2003?. You can still change your muffler. It just cant exceed the set db limit which is 95dbs. The only thing that has changed the cops can still write a fix it ticket like they always can but now they can throw a fine ontop of it. Thats it. Only change is that they can just fine you. But the laws been there for over 17 years and nobody said anything till now. That is only vehicles that need to be inspected. So vehicles of a certain age or antique plated can have whatever exhaust they want hotrodders with older cars wont get touched. It was just a simple ammendment=change that allows for on sight fines up to 1000 dollars. But the base fine is only 25 bucks. Then you go to the state ref they test your db if your car does not exceed that 95 then you will get a certificate and the judge will throw it out. Or if it fails they will tell you to fix it like before and then get it passed and bring it to the judge and he will drop the ticket. The upto 1000 is noise pollution no exhaust and a bunch of other factors. But thats the only change is they can fine you for it.

I have a 11.90s and 12 sec monte ss 84 just because i dont got the money to go quicker were looking at an engine pretty cheap this year low 11s on motor and low 10s on the bottle but i agree a real fast street car mag would be badass

Maybe talk to Draglizne magazine. They do mostly pro racing but I bet they would work with you. Billy at his age, always some type of girl problems. I Been racing imports on the streets for 20years i love the streets I run a tiburon now most wont think my shit box runs a low 11s I love the HUSTLE . I run little spot in PA my family raced at since the 1960 when the road was paved. The online magazine would be really cool
