I love St Paul's cathedral. Not only did Charles and Diana get married there, but my favorite scene from Mary Poppins was filmed there. The scene where they sing feed the birds. 🙂

So glad you had a wonderful time. I enjoyed hearing your recap. London holds a special place in my heart as I lived there for a little while, in Earlscourt, and also spent one new year's eve in a very crowded Trafalgar Square so hearing about your adventures also made me sentimental in looking back. The pictures from the orphanage of the children were so touching. It will make Mary 395 that much more special as you stitch it. Take care, and happy stitching.

I agree 100% about put the phone down. Went to dinner with a friend not long ago. It was a night of watching her look at her phone. Sadly it makes me not want to go with her again. I know I shouldn't think that way, but like you said, time is precious. Thanks for sharing your UK experience.

Thank you for describing your trip. What a wonderful adventure. And that BOX!!! The trip to the orphanage -- so moving. I can just barely imagine it. And London -- I was last there in 2007 and just briefly before travelling out to Suffolk to visit friends. But I went to Evensong at St. Paul's...so lovely! Have fun using that banding and thread for that lo-o-o-o-ng sampler!

I have a trip planned to the UK next summer to celebrate our 50th. I have a trip planned to the Attic in Nov. and Mary 365 is on my list of charts to purchase. George Mueller was a Christian man and his story is incredible of God's provision for the orphanage/children. There are books written about his ministry, almost an unbelievable story.

Always good to see you. I envied all you guys that got to go. My husbands family lived in Swindon via Liverpool for 35 years and we’d go visit all the time until they moved back to Canada 3 years ago. Sigh. Everytime we’d go we’d take the 10 pm flight and sleep all the way. Get there like noon their time rested lol I was so upset last time we were there the V and A had the samplers in lock up preparing a new wing. I knew it would prob be our last trip because they were moving back to CA and my husband was diagnosed with Benson Disease. I like mushy peas too. Everyone gave me theirs. I hated blood pudding. I think the Bristol museum would’ve made me cry. I never made it there. When they were in Bristol my nephew was in British 0:01 military and we all travelled to Scotland and northern england and London. I could kick myself for not insisting but they already humored me with a trip to Bath for Jane Austin tea. This was a wonderful video. Thanks for taking the time to share and visit.

How fun and memorable! Would love to visit England someday, I’m related to the cloptons he was a grandfather a knight from the 13th century I believe, the family has been recognized by the queen of England for one of longest traced family lineage! I wonder if he was there where you took the video, I’ve seen pictures of his tomb incapsulated in a knight coffin like the ones you shown? Not sure what you call them😊
