Fantastic work out of your shop, as usual. I can't say I like the rear sights that come stock on those P35s, and after seeing the work you normally do with sights, these pale in comparison, but otherwise, that came out great.
Love this model. I just got it, maybe 3 months ago. I'm looking to have work done on it for sure. I'm not a fan of the reset or the safety, at least on mine. Only bummed out about light compatability. My X300U-B, to be specific, as well as trying to find holsters, with or without the light.. I've seen someone modify the X300U-A button cap and remove material to have that sit back further to lock in. I'm curious if the Modlite PL350 would work without modification. It seems to lock in further back on rails.
So, I bought a Girsan Match model from EAA and I’d like to know what you could do with the sights. I really like what you did with Mike from Garand Thumb’s BHP with the Trijicon HD front site paired up with the Henie rear. Would a Trijicon HD front even work with the OEM adjustable rear on the Girsan Ops and Match models?
I have the ops model with rail and optics cut and one of the standard style early versions. Both have 6+ pound triggers, which is too high. They are otherwise smooth with good break, but I would like to get the pull weight down, which may happen to some degree over time. Does reducing pull weight to say, 4 lbs, require expensive parts or mainly labor?
Our trigger jobs address trigger travel over as well as weight. If all you care about is the weight of the trigger, that can be addressed with spring kits.
How would you compare a plain stock Girsan to the same TISAS ? Are the stock Girsan thumb safites still mushy? Lastly.....what happened to TISAS....can't find any anymore and seems not to be imported anymore.
@@mk3firearms ..can you share some specifics as to why? Is it more fetaures or reliability/breakage issues? Have read various pros/cons of each. Thanks if you can.
So just out of curiosity, the trigger on it is OK but I love what you did with that one. What would something like that cost me? And you can you can I know you can’t put it on here but you can send it to me right what it would cost
So you buy a Girsan and then spend the money to get it right. You could have just bought a Springfield Sa35 and you would have a better gun. Sa35 are about $650 on gun broker.
I use this word sparingly, but the consistent end-result of your work legitimately qualifies as fabulous.
Thank you Ian, that really means a lot ❤
That trigger has triggered me to put this on my radar can’t wait to buy one and send it in to you guys

This Girsan Hi Power (and the classic without the rail) is way better than the new version of FN itself. They destroyed the FN with that new model.

Thanks Throck, we appreciate you.

I believe it will. If I still had one in house I would measure it for you.
Beautiful work 👍👍👍
How much for this type of package, without the finish, sanding?

We prefer the EAA Girsan.

@@TheWilferch The fit and finish is better. The trigger and hammer are also true to spec and do not appear to be cast.
@@mk3firearms ...ok, got it. Plus I find Girsan is MkIII design with stuff like the later spring-loaded sear bars, etc,....all good.
How much to do the smoothing, refinishing, and the single-stage trigger job? The edges of my OPS trigger guard are sharp!

Can any 1911 optics plate system work or be made to work with the Girsans? I don't like how their optics ready version lose the rear sight.
Yes, we've used a few different 1911 RDS mounts on hi powers. They're all in our hi power playlist, and on our instagram.
@ Thank you!

Yes its our single stage trigger job.
I am slowling collecting C&S parts so I can send them to you with my MKIII!
Sheeeeesh man I so pumped. We just got the Girsan p35 on our roster. Can’t wait to get one and have you guys put your touches on it 🥶🥶🫡🫡🤙🤙
❤❤❤
How much for that trigger job? I want to get mine to be just like that!

I just purchased the MC P35 OPS, and the trigger is 10lbs. What can I do to get it closer to 2 to 3 pounds?
Send it to us.

What was your fee to do what you did to that high power?

Do you guys think this platform woukd benefit with a full length guide rod?
No not really.
How it is that easy to push the slide back ?
I have strong hands. These are factory springs.

Thanks for your enlightening input Michael.
