I wanted to see Mike Budde's auto racks! This show had a lot of information for the N.M.R.A. Convention in California! Awesome job on the garden railroad! It's baseball cap weather, so get your What's Neat This Week cap @ Jelsma Graphics! I've got mine! Thank You, Mr. Jelsma! This is "The World's Greatest Hobby With The Greatest People" "May Your Tracks Be Clear & Your Switches Be Lined Up" MoPac Jack Be Safe! Rock N'Roll Forever..
I saw you were going to be featured at the convention in Long Beach. I’d love to connect with you about the convention as I am thinking about going… and 🎬🚂 ☺️
Ken, and Mike, thanks for making this show happen, covering the NMRA Convention. I hope you can make it out to California in August. If you're in Long Beach for the show, I will help provide some personal tours as well. All the best, Tom Selinske
A genuinely Great (Northern) show this week. What an event this will be - it might even make California a popular vacation destination spot. Truely the best hobbie in the World. This is Scale Rail Ray running down the track towards next week's show ! ! !
The only way I can watch these shows is my cellphone is Bluetooth to my hearing aids. I know that there are many other people who are disabled people who are model railroader too.
Planning my vacation around that time so I can sneak away one a day when the family is at Disneyland. Been looking forward to it for months. Pretty disappointed now that I made these plans that you are now saying on this show that the train show is much smaller and will be in the hotel. Sure would have been nice to know. Sent multiple emails to the Surfliner people inquiring about the show and know one had a clue about the convention. Some chose not to respond to a simple question about the dates. I'm an NMRA member but really feel there is no support. I was looking forward to seeing all the manufacturers and getting some inspiration since most of the good shows are on the east coast which is much harder for us to attend. Finally, a show here and it's scaled down. Sorry to be negative but it's very disappointing.
Great show! Always enjoy the presentations. I am an elderly codger who is attempting to build a large scale (1:29) railroad in my basement. Benchwork is done but I need help with wiring and track laying. I am in northwest Indiana (Hammond, a suburb of Chicago). Can anyone in my area help? Thanks. Vince
There are also several other hotels in the neighborhood as this is right in downtown Long Beach. You can doa google search too. Airbnb may be a good option for you too.
Well, not your best show. Maybe it's just me, but I didn't care for it! The poor modelers out here can't go to these big train show all over!!! And making an entire show about one for me! It is a total waste of time I'll never get back!!! 😒😒😒😒😴

The Westin Hotel says that it has no rooms available. Is there a back up hotel?
Lyndon: There are rooms - you must put in the dates when you want to book. Note that the dates shown are greyed out, fill in your dates there.

The number one thing I love about this channel is no Woke agenda is being forced in our faces.
There should be no politics from any point of view
@@markscott9741 , what? I used the word "Love."
I'm sorry to hear about your sad and pitiful life.
😊
The company that bought Kalmbach has laid off 60+ people.?.?.?
This a formality required for the new owners to rehire the same 67 people. These folks will staff the new Milwaukee location.
