Life is about making decisions. There are pros and cons to every decision but owning those decisions is what makes it your life. Sometimes people tell you not to do something because they love you and they worry about you. Other times people discourage you because they themselves are scared of change or transformation. Conformity is what keeps people stuck. Being strong enough to pursue your dreams takes a tremendous amount of courage when everyone is telling you not to. Risk is what makes you challenge yourself. If you fail, there are lessons to be learned as well. Without risk their can be no reward. Go Maria!

Beautiful quotes can come from great philosophers or poets but this is the best one I’ve ever heard and felt and it came from a woman who’s worked hard for everything she got and fought against all those people doubting and that’s better than any praised famous writer. maria, your videos have been extremely helpful lately. you speaking abt your anxieties and anger makes me feel more normal for not being happy all the time. i struggle with depression and anxiety and i tend to shy away from anything slightly sad, but you’re helping me realize some negative emotion is normal and healthy and FINE.
