This video gives me such nostalgia. I remember watching this over and over and over one week before a final exam. It was literally the only thing that helped me de-stress enough to be able to actually concentrate and study. It's still just as good today as it was back then.
I love the casual "I love you" at the end as if you were talking to a family member or something it's so genuine and a huge reason why everyone adores you so much!!
After about 2 or 3 years of watching all different kinds of ASMR videos from hundreds of ASMR artists, even that one girl who parades around in bikinis doing her own fashion show while whispering in a voice-over, I gotta say GentleWhispering takes the cake for the most consistently soothing and sleep inducing ASMR. Your on top of your game GW, keep up the amazing work!

Yes! I work at a neuropsychiatric hospital for complex brain problems, I was in a meeting with Occupational Therapy and I thought ASMR would be extremely beneficial for this kind of client group. I'm going to look more into it to see if it can be done 😊

MARIA, I was shaking my head listening to you say your parents probably wish you were a doctor or lawyer instead. You are such a good, warm, wonderful person -- I honestly would be SO PROUD of a daughter who grew up into a person as fantastic as you are! I know it's a hard struggle to please our parents (sometimes it feels like they're never happy no matter what we do) but give yourself credit for the positive things about yourself that we all love so much! :)

This video is almost 6 years old, and I listened to it again last night. I have never made it to the end. In fact, last night, I was out so fast that I don't even remember anything about the beginning. You are still the best ASMRtist out there.

This is my all time favorite tingle inducing video! Everything is perfection. The mouth sounds, the gently tapping, the sticky fingers in the beginning....everything. I have yet to find a video that compares to this for me.
You should really do a "draw my life" update. I thought it was so moving and I would love to know how your life is going since the video you made in 2013. This video is really relaxing, by the way. :)

The sound of your nails tapping on the leather reminds me of raindrops on a tent...SO MANY relaxing tingles, so wonderful.

I can't comment on your newest beauty video so I thought I'd say it here. You make my life better and happier I've been watching your videos for years. My dad is in the emergency room and my mum has terminal lung cancer, my job let me go, and my bf left me. But yeah I am still optimistic and happy because things like seeing a new video from you makes me positive and relaxed. I don't need drugs or antidepressants I keep a smile on my face because I will have my friends and family and you maria. Your videos are better then drugs whenever I get upset or depressed or anxious or need to sleep I watch your videos it works 100% of time because your soothing voice takes me back to my childhood. God bless we all love you maria
Oh my gosh, I really hope things get better for you. Spend as much time as you can with your parents, my father has been really ill this past year and half with heart problems and strokes but he's finally getting better. Good luck!!!!!!!!!

Oh Maria, I was just listening to you talking about getting older and the fear that lots of people have about this. I'm not very happy in my job at the moment and I've been feeling anxious about not being as happy and successful as I'd like to be by this age. But you're so right, we have the time to move on and be happy and that goal is what's important, not age. Love you x
I put this on speakers and it amplifies Maria's voice, and sounds and it does relax you. I did this on her crinkle video. Perfect for tingles.
Interesting. I would think that doing that would make her voice less relaxing. I suppose it would work if you couldn't hear [for example] her tapping. It would probably work only if you were using good speakers though.

This is the only video ever to give me tingles. Not the painting the nails part, but tapping and rubbing on the gifts and bench press. I always come back to this video, because it's the only one that will give me tingles. Hopefully Maria is going to do another video with the bench press!

What... Falling asleep to this knocked me out into what could be the most deepest of naps like the Delta waves sleep-inertia-want-food-when-i-wake-up kind of nap. I can tell you every detail about that resturant I dreamt about and the waterfall and how I scared all the frat boys that were sitting on that waterful, out of the restaurant where the gross chocolate slushies were.

This is still one of my favorite videos. The tapping on the chalk packaging at the end gives me sooo many tingles! I think it’s a combo of the cardboard and plastic. Can you find a similar product and just tap/chat for like 30 mins?! 🤗💜🤗

I thought I was the only one who watched Bob Ross for his relaxing voice, but I started doing that way back in high school (in the '90s), and have loved gentle speach/whispering sounds ever since!
Does anyone else have to stroke/caress (ik it sounds weird) themselves in order to get these tingles (I think they're tingles)?
I don't necessarily have to in order to get tingles but a lot of times I'll find myself lightly tracing patterns on my neck/shoulder/arms when I'm listening to videos

Now I can see why my one friend doesn't always finish painting her nails! The only things I have seen her do for more then 15 minutes is draw and do stuff with friends, otherwise she bounce from thing to thing! Props to all the woman out there! No way could I prep nails and paint them without getting sidetracked and not finishing them!
