Mercedes has a stank attitude as well she's just funny and relatable. She came off hostile so of course Autumn is just gonna reciprocate the energy given to her.. Autumn is stand off ish but rightfully so. She's running from an abusive man and just survived a flood. She actually had 2 IDs the first person was found dead but Lakeisha wasn't. It would be reckless to use the ID of a dead person. She then asked about a man, I'm assuming it's the one she's running from, and he hasn't been identified as dead.
Her ex had to have been a big time drug dealer. Andre gone get himself caught up.

I do not like her character either...but I think she may have been drinking and had a car accident which caused her daughter's death. The way she freaked out in the cadillac...Mercedes/Brandee looks too damn good! I am addicted to this show!
I think she lost her daughter in Hurricane Harvey. When she was in the car and the soap covered the car it made her feel like she was under water and she was trying to save her but couldn't.
Nah, it looks like her man was beating her up so she took her baby and ran. Then got caught up in the hurricane. She had fresh bruises in the first scene and they keep giving us flashbacks to her getting beaten.
She is drinking because she is depressed.

I don’t know tho I think people are still forgetting the fact that Autumn comes from A really abusive background and lord know what happened too her daughter, you can’t really expect her too open up like that too others her trust with others is very low. I don’t really get an attitude vibe from her she’s just be too herself and honestly that’s really how it is most of the time at the clubs. A lot of these girls don’t come too make friends they come too make the money and go on home. Not too mention the fact that Mercedes be throwing shots at her every chance she gets

That's how a lot of strip clubs run here in Michigan. If it's fully nude, there's no alcohol and vice versa. Some even make the girls wear pasties
That's how the strip clubs are in Las Vegas too. I believe it's a protective matter. If the dancers only take off tops then alcohol is served.

I think the actress that plays Autumn is horrible for the role. I don't think they're intentionally making Mercedes the villain tho. I think Mercedes is intuitive and knows something is off with her.
I personally don’t even think the Mercedes is intended to be the villain. to be honest with you how they cast her story we are really supposed to sympathize with her and her hustle and I agree that Mercedes is intuitive in reading people she can read the clients about what they are doing in the club and tell which ones that wants to get money from. I have a slight gripe with the light versus dark skin storytelling but I can see where they might go with it, hopefully Mercedes and Haley/autumn work things out. I don’t think that autumn is a bad character I think that the woman is just been through trauma so she’s on guard at all cost with the people in the club, it’s obvious that she was in an abusive relationship I kind of feel that when she was doing the correcting of people on things I think she got that from her abusive ex I don’t think that’s really her being a snob...we will see what happens as they dive into her backstory.
I like autumn maybe because of sympathy cuz of what she’s been through but i like herrrr.
I’m so in love with this series. For some reason Mercedes remain me of Stormy Wellington from beyond the pole. In the intro song to p-valley does the first verse sound like Tommy lee from love & hip hop of alt. I swear the voice sound just like it’s her but maybe that’s just me.
