Should you buy a Bajaj Maxima Z? I bought mine in September 2022. I will say this: When it runs well I like it a lot. When it breaks down (3 times already) or runs poorly, I hate it. The gears remain very difficult to work, especially for a beginner. I met a guy who bought one a month after I bought mine, his clutch blew up the first week he had it. His wife refuses to drive it as she got stranded by it stalling in gear and she not able to get it back into neutral to restart the engine. ( you need to learn to do the BAJA SHAKE to get the shifter to go to neutral.) So I suggest this: If you are a mechanical person able to do much of your own repairs and adjustments and if you are lucky enough to get one without too many defects, then you will probably like it. The Max can do things that the other three wheedlers can't do. For example I can drive and carry six adult passengers. I also really like the rear tail gate and folding seats. That is hard to beat. I upgraded mine with much better seat belts and padding on the roof frame pipes. So much safer for passengers.
