When young Peter Bishop is taken from his world to this one he says something like everything is the same, but there are small details that are different.

I just absolutely love how Sora, Donald and Goofy seemingly fit into this scene. Just seeing both Donald and Goofy comforting Sora as he watches a friend die before him and then embrace as Flynn/Eugene comes back to life brought tears to my eyes. 😭

The animation is so good... I kinda wanna see an edit of tangled with the KH3 scenes added in. Show it to people who will be like “yeah the movie was good... but what the hell was the deal with Donald, Goofy and their anime boy? They seemed kinda superfluous.”
I really liked how a lot of the worlds really reenacted their entire plots and scenes because it makes it feels like you're there on an adventure and not there on a visit for an hour and a half at most. how you definitely stayed overnight. This is a whole other conversation but its times like these when I don't understand why people think the pacing is bad in this game
I like how this heartless is created. If you look at it closely, it looks so similair to the tower Mother Gothel has kept Rapunzel captive for all of those years, the brances and walls where she kept the flower for herself from the outside world , that's how it symbolices .
I don't get why they muted Mother Gothel in her death scene. You could see her open her mouth and it was clear she was in agony. Yet she makes no sound. But you hear Pascal pull on the hair. Right.

I know everyone is talking about that intro (we really can't avoid it, it's pretty obvious), but I have to say that running the original Tangled soundtrack over the part where the tear heals Eugene makes for a pretty fantastic scene. You can't beat the soundtrack for Tangled!
I remember allowing Woody to take my bracelet from Jessie off as he was dying. I was actually so relieved when he did that so that Woody.EXE would take over Jessie’s reign. Then my tears healed Woody. I’ll never forget this
Little did Rapunzel know, this was just the beginning of her greatest adventure ever. If you've seen Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure, you'd see what I mean.
Marluxia saved Sora from seeing a woman fall from the tower screaming, but be dust by the time she reached the bottom. Probably would have been traumatized considering most of the other deaths he's seen haven't shown actual death but just a fade away or something similar. One of the only things you can thank Marluxia for.

The game already introduces you to the basics of the lore in a few optional cutscenes at the start of the main menu of the title screen. Just jump in, you won´t regret it.
You know I once read a fanfic of Kh3 and this one is more brutal. Sora who was with Kairi went to the tower to check Rapunzel and they were captured by Gothel through the power of Darkness and chaining them and during this sequence because of what Gothel did to Eugene, Sora even though Kairi was trying to calm him down gave up to anger transforming him into his Anti Form that terrified Gothel as she ages quickly then Anti Form Sora chased Terrified Gothel until he corners her on the window and when he did he fisted his claws to Gothel's chest sending them falling from the tower.
Okay seriously. In the movie Tangled and in Kingdom Hearts 3, it would've been way wiser for Eugene to just have waited for Rapunzel to fully heal him (or heal him enough to not die) and then immediately chop off her hair. Mother Gothel is standing in the opposite side of the room, so she wouldn't have had the time to stop him anyways.
I was reading through the comments as I usually do when the video is loading, and I wonder to myself, “Gee, I don’t know what could possibly be that bad at 0:00 . What is everyone going on about?” So, the video loads, I wait in anticipation and slight concern. ... The video begins. I immediately pause it to take a moment of silence for every single one of the brain cells I just vaporized with the surge of “OH GOD” flooding my thoughts. Thanks for this lovely experience.
So, I saw this Kingdom Hearts 3 video pop in my feed. Haven't played any of the other 2 games. I was just familiar with the concept and the hype behind this long awaited third installment. I give in to my curiosity and decide to see what all the fuzz was about. Then 0:00 happened.
It's so cool. I've seen Tangled so many times and yet when I played this world, I felt like I was seeing this film for the first time. I felt so happy when Rapunzel first leaves her tower. I grinned like an idiot during the dance scene. And now here? Eugene dies, I felt like shit. Rapunzel grieves for his death, I feel like shit. And when he comes back, I cheered like I did in the cinema all those years ago. I guess its because we're seeing it from Sora's perspective for the first time. Man, the writing's gone top notch for the saga's conclusion!

It's so cool. I've seen Tangled so many times and yet when I played this world, I felt like I was seeing this film for the first time.
I felt so happy when Rapunzel first leaves her tower. I grinned like an idiot during the dance scene. And now here? Eugene dies, I felt like shit. Rapunzel grieves for his death, I feel like shit. And when he comes back, I cheered like I did in the cinema all those years ago.
I guess its because we're seeing it from Sora's perspective for the first time. Man, the writing's gone top notch for the saga's conclusion!
