Must the peasantry be entertained during the game? Imagine trying to coach and plan during that nonsense. Players getting all googly-eyed at the sparkly lights instead of paying attention. Make it your halftime show. Or do it before kickoff at the start of the game. 🤦🏼♂️
LOL! I get what you are saying. But it doesn't necessarily distract the players. At Oregon they do "Shout" and the players on both sides often participate.

As a student at UNL, I can say that it was, though I personally prefer last year's longer version of just "Thunderstruck"
