Big thank you to everyone for watching today’s video. Both new and original subscribers, you guys/gals rock!!! It was a huge honor to met a lot of you at OSH19. My father and I figure we talked to around 3000 People over the 4 days we were in Oshkosh.(all of them awesome). I have to thank both EAA and AOPA for making us feel at home in all that epic aviation chaos!
Sounds like you had a good time. I watched the wednesday fireworks show next to DTD and wasn't quite prepared for how they would top their giant wall of fire that they do every year.
Such a beautiful thing. I know that soon we will be watching you resurrect the Fokker, but it won't be the same. I fell in love with this entire project, the people, and DTD is very special. Thank you for sharing one last DTD Plane Savers episode. All the best Mikey and crew!
Bucket list items checked off: #1 Go to OSH, #2 See DTD in the flesh, #3 Meet Joe and Mikey. #4 Contribute a tiny bit of content to an influential RUclips channel. Keep on creating Mikey, we love you for it. See you at OSH 2020!
Those Fokker jokes just take on a life of their own. LOL. Awesome to see the above clouds footage of DTD, she gets to live again. Thanks for being so generous in letting us all see her! Up for the Fokker but keep us posted on DTD!
Seeing DTD was the highlight of my trip to OSH this year. First time there in literally decades! Glad you got a pic of DTD silhouetted against the awesome fireworks. I was sitting nearby during the show, and was wishing I had tried to take a picture of that! Thanks so much for bringing DTD and the Plane Savers crew to Oshkosh!
Just so proud of you Mikey for Saving DTD and getting her to OshKosh by gosh, I saw about 75% of all the episodes and the volunteers can be very proud of all their hard work and long hrs. Good luck on resto #2.
The night sweats are gone, the shakes are fading away,at long last I got an injection of the love that is the "juice" that fix's the yearning that's burning in my soul. I am a plane savers junkie and am now floating among the clouds with DTE,but DRI ,save me Mikey,I feel an overdose on the way. My prayer for plane savers is you never run out of planes to save, amen and thank for the memories.
Thoroughly enjoyed S2 E-1 Mikey. I was fortunate enough to be at Oshkosh and meet the Plane Savers team and this video was a great DTD "closer". Thanks.
Awesome, up in the clouds with Dtd..being there must be a great feeling of Achievement for you mikey. You and your crew deserve awards, you've brought a lot of positivity and proves nothing is impossible when you think positive..🍻..the next one is amazing and PLANE SAVERS will go on and on..🌞
Great episode Mikey. Fantastic that you made it to Oshkosh, the enormous amount of interest that you’ve created is great testament in what you’ve all achieved. Looking forward to Series 2.
Man I wish I could've been at Oshkosh. Hopefully I'll be able to make it next year and see both DRI and DTD. I'm excited for season 2 to progress, can't wait!
Thanks to you and Stella for being so cordial to me. I know you had a thousand other people after your attention and both of you took the time to speak with me and I felt honored . Enjoyed getting inside DTD and physically touching and seeing the airplane. Season 2 will be great but don't forget about DTD , she still needs love to keep her flying.
"MOTHER FOKKER!" you did it again! Wind to your sails Mickey & Team PLANE SAVERS! Was awesome seeing DTD flying in Saint Hubert - Montreal. Tremendously inspiring ~ Thank you
Enjoyable watching the flight with billowing clods below on the way to Oshkosh. Thanks for catching us up. Oh, by the way good eye on catching the oil leak.👍🛩🛩🛩👍
When you say aboot instead of about, I know you are Canuck. Thanks Mikey and Joe, and all of those who keep em flying for many different reasons. You make everything better.
@@MikeyMcBryan Yo Mikey, dont ferget to keep Buffalo up and running as you have for sooo long. BTW, what is your piloting status? With the number of a/c from which to choose, I must believe you pursue this area as much as possible.
Amazing!!!! Thanks a lot Mikey for sharing your Oshkosh adventure! So proud to see a close-up on the tags i made during your flight.... a little touch of Adjprojects at Oshkosh! 😮😁. It is a pleasure to be in your team!!! Plane Savers are the best thing in the world!!!! 👍👍👍👍
Great video great D -3 or C 47 .One life time seeing over eleven C-47 D Day Squad before they depart to England.Had an amazing flight with Virginia Ann C-47 that was in the Day invasion June 6 1944.
Mikey, the time and effort you put in to gives us so much joy ! I watched every episode of season 1 and now my best friend ( wife ) wants to join in the fun of season two ! Your channel is the best by far. Thank you !!
The follow-up on DTD and the trip to Oshkosh is really appreciated by the Plane Savers community, you've really built something here for aviation enthusiasts. I'm looking forward to the new plane, airframe, and engine. This will be another Plane Savers hit!
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you....wish that I could have been at Oshkosh....to be there and smell the roses....see all of you. I'm looking forward to the remainder of the DC-3 story...AND....the DR-1 "PLANE SAVING"
Fantastic!!!! Wish you luck, success and all the good things for this great project saving the Fokker. Looking forward seeing the progress like in season 1. You are all heroes for more than one day!
Mikey! you, your dad, brother, Stella, your whole family, the techs, Buffalo Airways and the whole staff are such Canadian aviation legends. Thank you for what you all have contibuted to the history of Canadian aviation. You are all amazing and have touched the hearts of so many aviation fans like myself! Keep on saving them planes too! Best wishes. ;) With a dream and some luck, maybe I will try to make it to Oshkosh next year?, and get to meet you guys and gals. Take care.
Great content as always Mikey, looking forward to more. I wish I could have been at Oshkosh to see and meet everyone, someday hopefully. Well done, keep it up!
Mikey I can''t tell you how happy I am to see you back. When the footage you shot out the window of DTD taking off rolled...well...you complimented my writing once but I don't have words to do how that made me feel. That airplane is such a powerful thing. Watching your Dads hands on the engine controls is akin to watching a violin virtuoso playing his instrument. I would pay real money for a hardbound book if he ever gives in and sits down and writes the story of the Airline and his history in aviation, and I know I am not alone. Push him will ya? The story begs to be told, in his words, so it is not lost to the ages... I look very much forward to the Triplane resto,
Ah she’s a thing of beauty in flight and on the ground, you should be very proud. The DR1 will be fantastic, looking forward to the regular fix of plane savers
Good eye Mikey. That "little problem could have made for a very bad day. Great to see you and everyone with DTD enjoyed the time in Osh. So ready for the next adventure. GREAT stuff sir.
That video of DTD going through the clouds brought the emotion of her first flight in June right back again. She's beautiful and that's where she belongs.
Thank You Mikey! Well done once again if we do say. Look forward to learning more about the iconic "Green-Baron!" Some details about the structure and why things worked with the #2 aircraft because we're guys and want to know. Thank You Again👍😎❤🎅❤😎👍

Dads N3-N2 Yellow Peril is down from the rafters ! that can only mean one thing and that is he will be flying his lovely biplane again soon from your beautiful lakes. Wow Mikey you made so many lovely memories at Oshkosh judging by the masses of photographs you showed here,so many people wanted to shake your hand and to say thank you and you deserved all of the attention too,Stella is still painting it seems as she adds her autograph to that lovely DC-3 model that someone has built, what a special model that is. So pleased that you recorded the outward flight and those scenic clouds too,yes DTD was smiling and so were many thousands of people too. Get thoase crowbars ready to 'Open that box' !
Oshkosh 2019 looked to be a great experience, looking forward to seeing more on DTD's trip back from Oshkosh and any enhancements, modifications, changes planned for DTD to keep her airworthy into the future. Also looking forward to the Fokker DR.1 restoration. Lots of different skills required for the Fokker and it is a real connection back to the early days of aviation. Keep on inspiring Plane Savers!
