I owned a 2005 for 10 years. The motor was stock except for a supercharger, long tube headers and exhaust. A Corvette clutch was needed to contain the torque, dyno tuned to 530 ft-lbs at the rear wheels. Pedders suspension and Nitto drag radials required to get all that power to the ground, lowered an inch, cornered like it was on rails, accelerated like it was being launched off a catapult. Most people had no idea what a GTO even was, and the few who noticed the whine coming from under the hood knew what that was either. And you could drive it to the store for milk.
I used to have a 2006 Pontiac GTO, loved that car. Mine got totaled in a hit and run unfortunately. But if I get the chance to pick up another one, I will!
I've been following your firearm page for a long time, and it makes me happy to see this video! I have a 2004 GTO that's getting a 408 stroker here in a month or so.. I'm super stoked for it and the car will be a blast! These cars are awesome, aside from the funky little issues here and there, these are an awesome car to have..these have always been my dream car, and I got mine in 2016 at the age of 20..it's a great feeling
That's an interesting car, very rare these days. I still have a 2007 Cadillac CTS-V with original 400hp LS2 motor, but that generation of CTS-V was only available with manual transmission. Both the Cadillac and the GTO were based on the Australian Holden, as was the later Pontiac G8, so the Cadillac is somewhat of a 4-door version of the GTO.
Nothing like popping the clutch on a 1966 Pontiac GTO 389 cubic inches of pure muscle with a set of trips sitting on top of it and a 410 rear end 10 bolt little help with the cam set of headers good to go! Of course that was back in the day. Thank you' I like this channel!
I also remember saying "that's not a GTO". Wasn't until years later that I realized these are actually pretty cool and that I'd much rather have one than a Camaro.
I no longer have fast cars, but for fun, I would challenge you to find Mr. T’s A-Team Van. Other than that, it’s probably best if I avoid fast machines. Have fun !
Love the blue color. Cool looking GTO but I prefer the old style GTO better. Thank you very much. You and your family have a beautiful and blessed week.
Good afternoon Jared.. It looks like a great car.. BUT I grew up in the 60s and 70s.. There is nothing to me that can compare to the cars from the 50s to the 70s.. My Brother had a 72 Nova SS.. factory stock ( special order) 350 with 325hp .. Would do the quarter in 11 seconds.. Another friend had 65 Mustang.. would do the quarter in 9 seconds.. It was his everyday driver as well.. Another friend had a 69 GTO.. I don’t remember what he had in it but he had so many kill sticker on his windows.. I am sure the cars now could compete.. But my heart ❤️ is older cars.. When you stand next to one and can feel the power just idling.. There is nothing like the smell of racing fuel in the morning.. Hahahaha I love the you have so much passion for nice iron.. Keep up the great videos. Cheers Ps find a few older cars with a 396 or a 427 and put your foot in them and feel the G-forces. I want to see your smile 😁
I had the pleasure of fixing a 04 GTO 7.0L twin turbo lingenfelter in that color about 2 years ago that a drunk driver hit in the front.... talking about a pain in the ass plumbing all the tubes for the turbos and intercooler.
I love Pontiac performance cars. They were always just a bit different than all others. So that’s why I have always been a sucker for the Fiero. I know they were a mutt of parts from other GM cars and not exactly the high performance monsters that they should have been. But come on a mid engine two seater with those great lines, especially the GT fast backs! Laugh if you want I don’t care. Get rid of the wimpy 2.8 and stick a super charged 3.8 or even an LS if you want and there’s not many cars that are going to beat you to the next stoplight. There’s 12k subscribers on this channel I can’t be the only weirdo who loves his Pontiac Fiero. So someone give me a like if you are out there if you love yours too! Oh yeah I almost forgot bury me with my guns on!
Haven't driven my dad's yet, but OOOOOOOH BOOOOOY is it fun!!! All I've done is ride passenger, and I love it. I love it so much I almost run up to hug it every time I see it XD My dad calls it the GOAT, and I tend to agree, though I nicknamed her Toothless. Just looks like him and acts like him lol
I wanted a supercharged V6 version that was available. Never got the chance to have one before Pontiac became extinct. Love that blue color. That is a really nice car for sure. It looks as good as it goes :)
They came with 2 v8s only. In 2004 they came with a 5.7 liter producing around 350 horses and for 05 and 06 they had a 6 liter at around 400. You're probably mistaking this car with the grand prix gtp. It had a V6 with a supercharger.
Prefer the older style of the GTO, I grew up in the 70's and saw a few early 60's GTO's. However, that engine sounds like a beast and it looks very clean.
I have the Borla S-Type catback on my 06 6.0... my 5inch tips are wider and stick out way more.... idk if that was a different system or what but good shit !!
I do like the Borla exhaust systems, they have a very nice sound. Probably installed close to 20 of them. Pretty cool car with the exception of that hideous 2 tone interior. At least it runs on old dinosaurs... I would still prefer a 389 tri power....
They would have to bring back Pontiac before they could bring back the GTO. Probably won’t happen unfortunately. Such an awesome car. Factory sleeper for sure.
I see a sweet Holden Monaro. I would like to get a hold of a police intercepter Caprice/Statesman, you can finds those relatively cheap and their fast!
Any chance if you know where it originated from? Had a Childhood friend in Los Angeles who was with the Highway Patrol, and had nearly this exact car. Huge Dodger fan, but sadly passed due to Cancer in his early 30’s… he had the Blue interior too and that engine swap sounds familiar… R.I.P. Chris J
GM screwed us out or the Camaro Firebird because if a dispute with the Canadian UAW. They tried to push the SS Roadster in us then this piss poor Holden imitation of a GTO. One man’s opinion.
sorry Jarad, Not a fan of muscle cars after 1970.Hate the european look. Chrome or nothing for me. Still watch your channel, and enjoy what you like. Keep up the good work ! 2A always!!!
engine check light is on no rear head rests i own one 2 times better shape than that one and it is Brazen metallic orange and i have people wanting to buy it even my 15 year old grandson but I'm not selling

Any GTO is a great GTO. That one is exceptional. 👍🏻

nah the g8 is the 4 door version

That exhaust note would have any man standing up and saluting. Sweet ride thanks for showing it off.
Great looking car for the gear head how wants to go fast. Keep them coming
Congratulations, you're over 10 K subs already ! You have quality cars on here .
Thank you very much!

beautiful car, my brother had a 2004 GTO and he loved it
Really digging the channel man.

Correct.
Keep bringin' the vehicles....i like this channel...💛💛
Sounds awesome!
I wanted one of those when they 1st came out. Sweet ride
ANOTHER GREAT ONE JARED!!!!!!
Love the blue color. Cool looking GTO but I prefer the old style GTO better. Thank you very much. You and your family have a beautiful and blessed week.
Really sharp vehicle.

That goat has some throat! Awesome!
Beautiful Jarod!
Well done, Jared!
Keep these rolling
It's at least a little more exciting than a 4 door "Charger" or 4 door "Impala SS!"
I had the pleasure of fixing a 04 GTO 7.0L twin turbo lingenfelter in that color about 2 years ago that a drunk driver hit in the front.... talking about a pain in the ass plumbing all the tubes for the turbos and intercooler.
That's cool Jared
Very good looking and a great sounding car.
Pretty cool 😎
I was sad to see that automatic, but still a very cool car
If you're ever in Kentucky, could check out my 2008 Pontiac G8 GT Ignition Orange Metallic with about 500 hp. Love the Pontiacs!
I love Pontiac performance cars. They were always just a bit different than all others. So that’s why I have always been a sucker for the Fiero. Love it ! Can we see a Lamborghini next???
I would LOVE to have access to one!!
Nice. When those first came out, I thought the styling was a bit meh. The looks have grown on me a lot. Cool car. It looks fun to drive.
Haven't driven my dad's yet, but OOOOOOOH BOOOOOY is it fun!!! All I've done is ride passenger, and I love it. The only problem with his I've seen...His is automatic.
Sounds mean. Looks clean!
I wanted a supercharged V6 version that was available. Never got the chance to have one before Pontiac became extinct. Love that blue color. That is a really nice car for sure. It looks as good as it goes :)
These cars didn't have a v6 version

Yea. My bro actually had the supercharged gtp. Is was an anniversary edition. He recently git rid of it

LS forever.
I like all styles of the GTO. I got an 05 fun to drive. One day I’ll get an older one for now the closest to owning a 69 GTO is in gran turismo
I have the Borla S-Type catback on my 06 6.0... my 5inch tips are wider and stick out way more.... idk if that was a different system or what but good shit !!
I got an 04 with a ls2 swap headers and texas speed cam. Also straight pipe. It runs hard
Wow, that’s awesome! With an LS3 no less…
I do like the Borla exhaust systems, they have a very nice sound. Probably installed close to 20 of them. Pretty cool car with the exception of that hideous 2 tone interior. At least it runs on old dinosaurs... I would still prefer a 389 tri power....

Hey Jarod, I hav a killer 95 ex forest ranger bronco. Mostly stock but still cool. I will send you pics if you like
Nice vehicle. Sounded like the heat shield might have been rattling
Any chance if you know where it originated from?

Sweet.
Looks like a fun rig. I'll never forgive General Motors for stamping that car GTO, just wrong.
Whats the check engine light all about ?
Them gtos are hella fast, my brother had a 2005 now a 2006...
The only problem I find with them is that I am too tall for them
is that a speaker on top of those back seats?? thats not how the rear stock seats look
I HAD A JUDGE IN HIGH SCHOOL . SHOULD HAVE KEPT IT , BE WORTH THOUSANDS
Dang, figured they'd be pushing a little more than 400 with the LS3.
Don’t sleep yall. Buy it!
You should go check out Emily's from flying spark garage ol roxy is a pretty wicked gto
Why is the check engine light on
GM screwed us out or the Camaro Firebird because if a dispute with the Canadian UAW. They tried to push the SS Roadster in us then this piss poor Holden imitation of a GTO. One man’s opinion.
The muscle car started dying once they put the automatic transmission in them..but it's still a sweet car.
Hell yeah! You know what another name for a manual transmission is? It’s also known as a millennial anti theft device!
Can you give me your wheels and tire dimensions?
sorry Jarad, Not a fan of muscle cars after 1970.Hate the european look. Chrome or nothing for me. Still watch your channel, and enjoy what you like. Keep up the good work ! 2A always!!!
Fair enough!
No more Pontiac. No more Holden. Don't wait for the next gen GTO.
First view first comment GTO....gas tires and oil
For some reason I can't look at this GTO and not think about Rhys Millen
Hoping they will bring it back? Guy doesn't realize they haven't made Pontiac for awhile now? 😂
Algorithm fuel
Not badly priced in my mind
Check engine light on
Huh, so Americans got the Holden Commodore.
🤓🖖✌👌👍😎
That GTO is woke! Haaa Great job by professionals for sure.
bad larry ????
engine check light is on no rear head rests i own one 2 times better shape than that one and it is Brazen metallic orange and i have people wanting to buy it even my 15 year old grandson but I'm not selling
