In 1979 in Tulsa, Oklahoma I was at Soundwarehouse and saw the album cover and I thought let me check this out.. And so the guy behind the huge tall counters of plexiglass full with all these artist on eight track tapes.. As I waited intently to listen I was not disappointed.. The music was smooth something like I’ve never heard before.. You know I love I really do. And that breakdown with the brass and bass.. And as they skip through the album . I said I’ll take it. Then I turned my twin nephews on to it and they love it today.. Then I came back a bought Splashdown.. yes I’m a fan but they to my knowledge have never came to Oklahoma. Hey Okies got all the greatest entertainers of all time with Charlie Wilson, Uncle Charley, Blake, Leon Russell, and many more.. -Anyway back to Breakwater it good to see we have You Tube and get to listen to this incredible group perform ..a sound like no other.. 1979 Summer….till now May 2021 LB…and the contribution was very honorable..
