- LionMaker AKA Marcos Wilton is long time RUclipsr who went from a role model video legend to an outcast barely able to pull 5,000 views. But it creates the question - How did "Lionmaker" go from 800,000 subscribers in 2018, to a 50% dislike ratio in recent times? This video will cover the rise and downfall of LionMaker between the years of 2013 and 2020.

The hell? I use to watch lionmaker when I was a kid. I forgot about him since my parents said I couldn't watch minecraft anymore a while back in 2014-15 ish. They told me it was bad and stuff so I stopped. And I see this video on my reccommended and my face is like "Ohh I remember that nice dude." He's a terrible person it's good that I learned. I am truely disgusted.

I think a reason for his uprise following the thirteen-year-old girl incident was due to the fact that people didn't want to believe. People, no kids, didn't want to believe a RUclipsr, someone who they watched every day, who elicited tons of positive emotions from them, could have done such a thing. It was so different from the persona the fans had in their heads, the persona of a guy who made videos for fun, a guy who loved Minecraft, and a guy who appreciated his fans and support. But in reality, that wasn't the case. What a world we live in huh?

I used to watch his videos when I was younger and I remember when a lot of this stuff came out. I didn’t know about a good bit of it, I just knew he was in a relationship with Paige. I was so young that I didn’t really realize how serious it was. I didn’t really think of his as a pedo or a bad person because I was so naive and young. Looking back on it now I wish I knew how serious it was. I hope Paige is doing well currently.

Lionmaker was my favorite RUclipsr as a kid. He was the real reason I got into RUclips in the first place. I made my RUclips account just to subscribe to him. He wasn’t the MOST popular Minecraft RUclipsr, but he was fun and his videos always made my day. When he disappeared I was really curious as to what happened to him. I remember searching “What happened to Lionmaker” and finding basically no results at the time. Over a year later I had moved on, but one day I was curious again as to what happened to him so I looked it up and found out what had all happened. I cried like a baby that day and couldn’t shake the feeling that the first RUclipsr I looked up to turned out to be a horrible person. Still hurts to this day, but hasn’t changed my passion for RUclips.
It disgusting that he was an iconic part of my childhood.. i was in shock when i found out what happened and.. its just disgusting.. i have no words..

*Sad True Story:* I loved Minecraft videos growing up and loved Minecraft content creators. All my friends would watch bigger creators like Stampy or DanTDM, but I watched LionMaker. He wasn’t as famous or successful, but for some reason I always found his videos entertaining and they made me laugh. In fact he was the first RUclipsr I had ever subscribed to when I first made my RUclips Account. I was a massive fan of his growing up and used to think he was the coolest guy ever and wanted to be just liked him. Over the course of a year I saw him slowly change and he almost seemed more and more depressed in his later videos. I remember being worried about him. He then suddenly disappeared completely and Paige took over his channel without any explanation which confused me and others all the more. I tried to research what happened to him, but at the time there was nothing about it. I eventually stopped watching him and his channel, but a few years later I got curious and randomly decided to try again and look up what happened to him. I saw that there was now suddenly an endless amount of information discussing it which had somehow alluded me. I learned the real reason why he disappeared and that he went to prison and when I searched why my stomach turned and my heart sank. The more research I did, the more sick I got when learning about his secret relationship with Paige who I had always known as just his friend *”Paige the Panda.”* I was absolutely gutted learning the truth about his other victims and all the terrible perverted stuff he had done to minors and it absolutely ruined the rest of my day and I’m not lying when I say that I cried actual tears. Despite the fact that I no longer watched him and that he was just a Minecraft RUclipsr from my childhood, it was just the fact of knowing that he was the first creator I ever became a fan of and who really got me into Minecraft and RUclips in the first place which traumatized me. I do still love Minecraft and RUclips, but I will never forgive LionMaker for what he did to his all victims and to the people who looked up to him and trusted him. Be careful out there guys, the internet truly can be a dangerous place where predators can hide.

Okay, I’ve completely stopped supporting Lee and I never will again, but he was never a paedophile. He was 16 at the time of everything, and both women were over 18. LionMaker is one of those youtubers I never heard of until the drama popped up, I honestly blame him for what happened with Minecraft in the mid-2010's. I still honestly believe it's his fault for Minecraft's popularity dying, while I am glad Minecraft's popularity has been rising again, I do worry some other scumbag will ruin it for everyone again.
He may had been a part of it. More dramas, and unpopular updates further bring Minecraft into irrelevancy.
I think that if the rabid Dream stans and the toxic redditors who would kill someone for playing Fortnite once in 2018 continue, Minecraft will become "cringe" and "irrelevant" again, like it used to be back in 2016.
I first watched his videos back in 2015 and instantly became a public subscriber. I would treat his hide and seek videos like a football game and even create hide and seek maps in hopes that he would play them. But then he completely disappeared, leaving a very long apology video. It took a while for me to fully accept that he wasn’t like his counterpart on the screen. His “body in your face” gags now feel wrong and depressing. I tried watching him again after he returned, but hearing his voice felt different to me.
I saw one of his very last livestreams before he permanently disappeared. He was playing Red Dead Redemption 2 and was saying the N word while drunk. It was that moment where I lost hope for him before he passed out on his bed and left the stream running. I stayed because I was having a fun chat with the live chat.
This is actually the first time I’m hearing of this, I remember watching his content when I was younger, I really enjoyed the hide and seek videos. I never remembered the name of his channel, and I just lost interest after awhile. I once tried to find him later on cause I was curious what he was doing now but couldn’t find him. but this is hard to take in, someone I enjoyed so much just turns out to be like this??? Finding out LionMaker was a creep was honestly a huge blow to me at the time. I used to obsessed with videos and the storyline he produced, and even got my mom hooked on it (her favorite part of the series being Lyla, Lion's love interest). He was also the one of the main reasons he got me into playing Minecraft survival.

around 2016/2017 (i was 10/11 lol) i was part of a very small minecraft youtube group and somehow knew people that knew lion maker (i assume through building clans etc, really can’t remember) but remember i got asked to help out on a map some people were building and somehow ended up in a party with lion maker and remember it quite well , although he was only in the party for about 5 mins. the memory just came into my head so i searched his name to see if he was still making videos and came across this lol. i remember very well that i wasnt involved with people too much older than me so its quite concerning that he knew the people i knew at such a young age after seeing this.

I was also a fan back then, I believed in Lion, but now hearing and seeing the evidence, completely erases the whole view of him I had, if he just knew what he was about to get in was wrong, I and many others would still think of him as a star.
I remember watching him when I was younger and I honestly had no idea and am so surprised about what happened to him. I never could of guessed he would have done things like this.
