**Please Note: Hey everyone, we made a few rules mistakes in the playthrough. A few being accidentally taking another turn with a character, probably missing some noise tokens, firing with the sawed-off without reloading, moving zombies at one point incorrectly and killing some zombies out of priority. @@sador42 Hey thanks for that! And yea I think you're right about the rules stuff lol it usually always happens to me in games. I like how into the game you guys get half way through the video. But I would like to point out the "Walkie Talkie" Rule for cooperative board games that I made up to help let players do their thing, but still work together and to prevent backseat gaming of each other's turn. (Of course the exception is for rules and playing the game correctly). No one can talk to the person whose turn it is, but they can talk to others. At the beginning or end (depending on the game) of a round, they can all talk together to plan, cry, boast, etc. (A round being once everyone has taken a turn). Less mid turn corrections / arguments this way and safeguards timid players from getting dominated by controlling players. This lets people play their way, but also cohesively.
Side note, the vietcong would put raw rice and water in sections of bamboo for hours, then eat it as an MRE of sorts. You don't need heat to 'cook' rice, just water and time as the rice will soak it up. Heat just speeds up the process.
Yea now that you say that it makes sense that you dont actually need the heat lol. But I liked that bit of history about the vietcong, always found history fascinating, so thanks for sharing that. I'll pass it on to my wife, she'll appreciate it as well. Great comment.
"Why would anyone need a bag of rice?". This definitely gave me Project Zomboid flashbacks. Just SOOO many noobs that were absolutely lost if all the quick easy food was already gone. I guess once all the potatoe chips are gone people just starve to death once the world ends. Meanwhile I was grabbing up ALL the rice, pasta, lentils and whatnot. Cooking was ESSENTIAL for long term survival. Same thing applies to real life as well actually. Living off of junk food is a TERRIBLE idea regardless of the circumstances 🙃

About minis that doesn't match the cards: the kickstarter box comes with ALL THE CHARACTERS FROM PREVIOUS BOXES because they changed the character dashboard in the 2nd edition. It comes with two stacks of cards, the new characters and the old ones.
@@BrewsandBoardgames Yeah, I was going to say that. You probably picked a card of a character from the first edition hehe There is a easy way to tell then apart. The old ones have a zombivor version in the back. This is an old mechanic that wasn't kept for this second edition.
@@BrewsandBoardgames If you want to use the older characters, and want to use the zombivors mechanic, it's basically a second life for the characters.
