For those who actually have a Type R, and not a Type S / Standard MK8 Civic... The actual FN2 Type R does not need drilling as the stock spoiler is already bolted up. This video is for those who want to add a Type R spoiler to their non-R's.
@@dane1477 Yeah you could. You would follow the exact video as it stands. You'd need to drill the rear as depicted in the video. The Type R has these holes pre-drilled with the standard Type-R spoiler
Hello. I believe that location of the central holes does not have to be strict that much. You can see that they made holes in spoiler after spoiler was fixed with two outer screws. Spoiler originaly came with just two outer holes. So practically, you can choose where you want to make two central holes. I hope this helps

Gonna be doing this myself, why does the side holes need to be widened that much?
22mm on the sides,why? 6-8 is not enough?🤷🏾
HI, Is this spoiler being fitted to a FK3 Honda Civic ?
will the trunk door open well with that extra weight?
FN2 Type R uses stronger pneumatics
@@amoroso1967They are very light . So No..
How much would this cost? Got a 2.2cdti I want to tidy up
Is it just straight up through the original bolt parts ...

I would appreciate a response if possible
