Against Top Notch defensive-minded head coaches, the #1 option will work only 2 times in a row at best. Backup Plan/ Option #2 Weak-Side Pindown Screen & Dribble-Drive will be your most frequent choice. I would love to see your Option #3.
Double Pindown Screen for the Baseline Runner is so much better. 🤣🤣🤣 Freezes the defense, Elbow receiver might see a crack in the middle to attack the basket.
Horns Offense with CLEAR (for ballside clear-out) is basically Los Angeles Lakers/ Chicago Bulls Triangle Offense, "Pinch Post." 😂😂😂😂. The Weakside Pindown Screen is also Triangle Offense "action."
So . . . what happens when you deny by fronting high post bigs (preventing initial entry)? Have wings stay home, including runner, and lob over the top?
@@matthewwerner6537 The Elbow Pass or "Post Series" automatically triggers a backdoor cut in 1-4 High Offense. 😀😀😀 The problem is that many teams only use the "Wing Series" or only pass to the wing in 1-4 High Offense. It should be mandatory to have a POST SERIES too, in 1-4 High Offense & not have to wait until you get to Horns Formation.
@@benmurphy1559 most of the time at the college level defenders wont get caught sleeping like that, but i do think its a good idea to do that whenever you get a chance. also the corner defender generally plays help defense around the block so there isnt much chance at a back door in that case

i would think they would just try and get in front of them first, then if all else fails either lob over top or just run another play
I would love to see the DHO (Dribble Hand-Off) guy pop outside the 3-point line 😂😂😂.
I would like to see when the corner defender helps too far, the offensive player in the corner go backdoor.

@@matthewwerner6537 It's a CLEAR-OUT. 😅😅😅
The play is designed for the corner guy to get the hell out of the way.

Ball-side corner early clear-out/ run baseline. 🤣🤣🤣
Now you basically have Triangle Offense's Pinch Post
