Happy Mother's Day, everybody! To celebrate, I wanted to tackle another tune from the Mother franchise! Your Name, Please has always been a highlight for me with its simplistic but groovy as all hell bass line and I had a few ideas on how I could have fun with it! Hope you guys enjoy! I love all the Mother soundtracks but Your Name, Please is a favorite! It’s just so funky and fresh!
This is amazing! It's samples of samples of samples! EarthBound has the distinction of being one of the first games to have heavily sampled (and kinda-sorta plagiarized) soundtracks. It remains one of my favorites, alongside MOTHER 3. It's also one of the most unnerving, partially because of the compressed samples. Nice one, Evan!
"Your Name, Please" actually has samples of an old Monty Python bit, if I'm not mistaken.
And you threw in the little blurb from MOTHER 3---I love it.
Isaac Clemens really? I didn't know that some people ripped off earthbound's soundtrack before! Do you have any examples? I'm just curious :o
It's the other way around. EarthBound's composers sampled a ton of older stuff, like Monty Python and John Lennon. The battle track for Frankie, the first boss, is very reminiscent of "Johnny B. Goode."

Taisen well if you want what you said, I know quite a few Undertale songs utilize Earthbound soundfonts/sound effects.
In fact they did sample Monty Python! It's a bit from the flying circus. It's just very subdued
This is ridiculously cool, usually remixes will just try redoing all the instruments in overblown electronic sounds, but you actually included leitmotifs from the whole series throughout the song and made them blend together so damn smoothly, good job man
