Those are called dressed box dolls given to salesmen to show to. Retailers this was an ultimate find they are very rare

It's not 100% correct but yes the dressed dolls are unique The dolls given to the salesman to show to the boxes are pink with white silhouettes ( super hard to find ) We can find in a dressed box Barbie, Ken, Skipper, Midge and super hard to find skooter

Wonderful treasures!!!! I am pretty sure the green ear is from the metal earrings. I am just a tad younger than Barbie (barbie fan) but know lots of collectors any age would love those dolls so unique. Love those dolls that can change their expression with a spin how fun!

I remember I went thrifting at a savers in Honolulu back in 2013 i spotted a vintage 1959 #1 ponytail Barbie with her clothing kit just sitting on the shelf by the miscellaneous items I looked at it and put it back on the shelf the price tag was $14.99 if I can remember. I didn’t know much about Barbie’s at the time I was new to resale and looking up comps but 2 days later I went back it was in the glass shelf where they put the higher ticket items and it was going for $50 I still didn’t pick it up, few weeks later it was gone . Till this day I want to kick myself in the butt it’s worth around $4000 today on eBay!!! 😭 it wouldve definitely be my biggest find
