I'm 65 years old and born and raised in Mobile Alabama. We have been through a few hurricanes. Nothing like Louisiana or Mississippi have. Most of these TV weather people sell the drama from what I've seen. They are more concerned about selling the station and advertising than providing valuable information.
@@SoHighITouchTheSky22 Really you have never heard a hurricane called a cyclone? They are tropical cyclones and so are typhoons . Some regions on the globe they are just called cyclones. In the Atlantic and eastern Pacific the name hurricane is given. If you lived in Australia it would be called a cyclone. If you were closer to Japan or Vietnam it would be a Typhoon .
Appreciate your reporting emphasizing all the unknowns and time-will-tell. So many stories have IMO searching for anything to support an interpretation of the unknowns to anticipate another bad weather event. Your presentation is refreshing.
It’s going to depend how long it takes to develop versus the cold front coming down from the north. Mostly the front. If the front is there it will ride more of a path east
WHY are you asking the high school drama king? It won't matter and when you fly, the pilot will PROBABLY NOT make direct aim into a cyclone. I think they taught that day 2 in pilot school. Right behind day 1 when they talked about "ok, you'll be in the air, so no brakes."
Biloxi to the Big Bend be prepared. I watch one guy and he shows ALL of the models and possibilities of where it can go. I stopped watching news channel weather a few years ago when zeta was only going to be a tropical storm, but it turned into a CAT 3 that came from Mississippi to north Mobile County. After that experience I’ll NEVER stay for another one!

It was beautiful today at Panama City Beach 🏖️.. but everyday we are more ground zero.. hurricane opal destroyed our beach.. or should I say rearranged it.. sometimes it's not just the storm damage.. it's the players on the commission and county government that take advantage of the situation.. this is when they impose their ordinances..

Hurricane are cyclones. The reason why it's called Hurricane due to it being regional (Mesoamerican origin).
