Absolutely love Desperately Seeking Susan. One of my favorite movies. Thank you for this podcast; really enjoyed watching this.
Wow thanks MlVC!!!! I realized that Madonna works at the beginning of her with 2 young women that were alone in men’s world: Susan S. and Mary Lambert!!! And Madonna was also alone in a men’s world😍have you interviewed Mary Lambert at MLVC ?
Madonna literally saved my life and is the sole reason I am here writing this message. She gave me hope when I had none, took my hand, and for the first time, made me feel truly seen. I am forever grateful and indebted to her for lifting me up and holding me to the light. She is a deity walking among us mere mortals, unwavering in her true conviction, impervious to being derailed by limited souls. Which will eventually as the world will fully realize that she is not just another icon. We know she is undeniably the greatest entertainer we have ever had the epic gift of experiencing: Yes, she is an Icon, a living Legend, A Bitch, A Goddess, Mother-who lives up to her name: MADONNA. The Warrior.
Susan for president!!!!!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
I didnt realize she used Thomas Newman for the sound.
American Beatuty alone gives me chills.
Susan ur a super star !!!!
Great interview. Such a lovely woman. I’ve preordered her book.
Such a delightful interview! It would be so cool if she directed the Madonna biopic!
15 minutes in and I have to say, Susan is just wonderful. Ok, I keep watching :)
Update: She is great and you did a great interview. Gonna re- watch Desperately seeking Susan and trying to watch some other films of her. Kisses from Berlin
What a cool woman 😎
Great interview guys! I can’t wait to read the book.
Btw Stefan, I knew you were in Philly, but had no idea that like you and Susan, I also hail from Huntingdon Valley/Rydal/Abington Township (Rydal ES/Abington HS Co89) and spent much of my childhood at the HV Shopping Center, a 20 minute walk from my house. The bookstore you mentioned was called Global Books, and I’m (sadly) old enough to remember the Woolworth’s Susan mentioned. Attended numerous birthday parties at Del Ennis Lanes as well. Small world!
This was such a cool ep! ❤
I started listening on Podcast Addict and the music kept playing in the background; it was really distracting. This is much better.
my DSS HALLWAY ENTRANCE 🤩💖💋
Great interview ❤
Can we get a full episode devoted to She-Devil next? 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂
I don't think so, Roseanne allegedly hated the movie even though we get to see A Martinez in a skimpy speedo.
Exactly. They didn't really talk about it, and it's one of my favorite movies.
@@SomeGuy-mg5jysame! Loveeeee She Devil… it’s basically an edgier first wives club!
❤❤❤
I loved this interview but I hate to be a downer but was a little disappointed.
I have not read her book and I realize she was plugging it....but I kept hoping for questions from you guys like:
1. What did you think of Madonna when you first met her.
2.Did you or studio make her Audition?
3.Did you have to fight the studio to cast Madonna who was a no name at that time.
4. Do you keep in touch with Madonna?
Thx for interview!
She has talked about all that in other interviews.
