True story, i took my son to watch Aston Villa Vs Liverpool i think it was about 2011. After the match i said to my son we will go to where the Liverpool club coach is waiting to see if we could get to see or talk to any players boarding. It was a awful day freezing cold and a light rain, i was standing with my 7 year old son waiting and out of the whole Liverpool team only Craig Bellamy came over and spoke to sign signed autographs for the fans. I spoke to him directly and thanked him for his goal and time he has spared for the LFC fans as all his colleagues couldn't be bothered. He said and i quote, I cant comment on behalf of my team mates but if it was not for all of you i would not be here & what ever you hear about me from the media dont believe it as is mostly made up to sell papers, wink and a thumbs up and hand shake. Carragher did stop and waved before getting on the bus, Suarez did not even bother to look at the fans or acknowledge them at all. only Craig stayed out in the cold and rain and signed everything that was put his way. Top top man Craig 👍

I always loved watching Bellamy for our national team, he would hide injuries from the coaching staff and he always gave 100% for our country. Even in his very last game for Wales he set up an equaliser for us away to Belgium in the very last minutes of the match. Really cowardly thing to do, you can dress it up any way you like, why would you need a club if you are fearless and constantly ‘ready to go’, why not give him a chance to get up out of bed and why hit someone’s legs given he’s a football player……what a brutal thing to do. I understand Riise's behaviour in a way. If you have red hair you are a target from the age of like 5 (even Bellamy calls him ''ginge'' here, imagine being labelled like that your whole life?). You have to have thick skin and know how to handle yourself if you are a red head, but people react to bullying/discrimination in different ways.
I had few fights, and won, at school so I was ok (although when a girl is dissing you you are powerless 😅), and I left the UK at the soonest opportunity to live and work in Asia where red hair is a good thing if anything. I dont plan on ever living in the UK again (obviously it is an issue in all western countries too).

I love Jon Arne Riise. Big hero of mine. Probably the 2nd best LB the club had ever had until Robbo. Now hes probably the 3rd best. Which is no slight. The players ahead of him are just phenomenal and generational. I saw a documentary on Riise starring Riise himself. He had a big problem with bullying growing up in Norway. He was bullied horrendously due to his red hair and certain other things. He even admitted he grew up always with a chip on his shoulder. He came across as quite strange and to be honest, bitter. He explained a story where he took his CL winners medal from 2005 back to Norway and found his old bully... who was working as the manager of McDonad's lol. He showed his bully his medal and a paycheck... to prove a point. Riise told this story with pride as if he had shown his bully who was better. To me it was pathetic and demonstrated that he had no grown as a person. What Bellers describes about JAR here definitely speaks to that character shown in the documentary. Someone who had a chip on their shoulder due to bullying, always going out of their way to prove a point, and someone who, as a result, could be quite socially awkward.

Trying to put the ball on side of defender and run around the other way and failing every single time because he was just too slow... the amount of potshots he took instead of passing to another player in a better position... yeah he scored some goals, but tbh most of the time he was a just clumsy, slow and a general liability. Craig lad, people that have tons of regrets have usually acted like an ass. Regrets shouldn't be something your proud of. Regrets are something you have when you make the wrong decisions. Usually effecting yourself negatively or some one else. We all make mistakes, I'm not saying that. But Regrets and mistakes are very different, Regrets are behaviours you are conscious of making, while mistakes can be innocent. Nothing to be proud of there son. This podcast host is like that kid at school that just used to stir everything up, cause as much shit as possible, acts like everyone's friend, but gets as many kids as he can in trouble, then sits back watching his work unravel, smiling at the chaos he's caused 🤣 I do like the fact Craig is clearly a guy that will hold his hands up and admit his wrong doings. I respect him for that.

Who said anything about about being afraid? If you were to interview both Riise and Bellamy in the same room, would you have called him deluded? Bellamy was his colleague, you speak as if Riise was your ex classmate. ⬅️Notice how "your" is properly used in a sentence, by the way

Nah he’s really not, the guy is a legend for opening up… he has been suffering with depression and anxiety for a long time.. I can’t fathom why people can’t read between the lines with Bellas.. yes he down some mad stuf, yes some of it was a bit questionable but these players play on the edge! He was a great player and great man for opening up on our podcast! I’m a Liverpool fan always have been I’ll never forget the RIISE goal but I’m sorry we back Bellas on this one RIISE is a numpty and played his part too!

You supposedly regret hitting a team-mate with a golf club, but you don’t regret doing a goal celebration that makes fun of/celebrates what you did?! 😮🫣😳
