Great dramatisation of philosophical perennial problems. The questions Joel raised towards the end about how he can help those that "don't have" now that he "has" are worth pondering. I think we all should ponder on them and find ways in which to support those that need the support for those that need support will be the ones that become a threat to "all that we are working hard to get". I think laws emerge from trends and traditions that have already proven to be relevant in common life (for example all the hygiene practices we follow religiously because we know the consequences for not following them). I would propose that on top of all the philanthropy projects that those that "have" are launching and running, "educational philanthropy" is also required so that people can develop the perspectival knowledge required to take these things seriously. So, exploring these topics in conversation is a step in that direction, let's have more of them please. It would be good to invite guests who are working on solving these kinds of problems to hear more about the things around us that can help us to also start contributing. There's power in large numbers only if we focus it on solving the same problem following a similar process.
Pumla!Pumla!...this woman is electrifying, she's magnetic, she's a force & are we thankful for u or what...coz we can't get enough of ya intellect & wisdom. Blessings!❤
I can resonate with what Joel is saying. Unless you are willing and able to do something about the plight of someone, you only remain concerned. A person that does something about it, is compassionate. Jesus had compassion on the people and he did something..., healed them, fed them and many other things. To love is to do; love is a verb. As we love, let us give to those with less and also cause them/teach them to grow as we keep blessing them so that they will bless another person one day. It starts with each one of us.
Pumpla gives off signs of a girl that experienced something negative in her childhood and now defines the world from that perspective, taking it as absolute reality! I respect her perspective in line with folks focused on being single which instantly falla apart and can not hold in a space, marriage, where a certain set of principles apply. Be very careful with people who have convinced themselves that all is well based on time unaware that life comes around to hold everyone accountable in a way!
Ha! I had such a healthy and lovely childhood. I don't know that there is any trauma there related to this. It is just the path I have chosen for myself today. And I respect the paths others choose for themselves if that's truly what makes them happy
56:47 wow Joel… first off you reading the book of Acts and then application being on point is mind blowing. Almost everything in the culture today is driving us to be more individualized than in communities. We seem to be trying to get away from relying on people and community
Listening to the discussion on social status and social dynamics, it's clear Prima is an idealist, something she holds on to because of her faith. I am Christian too and I wish the world was more equal, kinder...but Pumla and Joel are right. It turns out that socio-economic status is hugely important for how you experience the world, who you relate with, who is comfortable around you, who you are comfortable around. As a Christian I've had to reconcile these things with my faith. Not easy.
Pumla, I'm here for you! I've got much to say but will reserve my comments for now. Please start a Podcast on RUclips and see your platform go through the roof, no pun intended. Don't underestimate your potentials. You vibe at another level and deserve to excel to the point where we'll need sunglasses😎 to look at you. There's so much you can do on your Podcast including your new relationship, friends, wedding, second baby, the boys you are educating, lovely family in Europe, job and someday president of Uganda etc. Keep shining and being the realest in Uganda. Nothing happens by chance. We are creators and chose to be here to fulfill our purpose. ❤
Aaaaaaawwww Liz. Aren't you a super viewer. I even feel like paying you 😅. Such a powerful vote of confidence. Thank you. I do appreciate it...and you. When I launch myself, I shall mention your name. Thank you.
The chemistry among the 3 of you is beautiful to watch. I clicked on the video because I saw Pumla, but I've been pleasantly surprised by how well all 3 of you gel ❤
Phumula you are right your level of finances definitely changes your friends if you don't change them or change the way you deal with them you are in trouble
Pumla bambi you are blessed to be a blessing to others. You can share your blessings with the less fortunate too it's not being selfish to help a friend in need of school fees for their child but you are right they must have a plan for future because you can not help Kila siku🙏
10:15 in ego is the enemy Ryan holiday posites that we should have someone while is where we want to be (mentor), an equal to keep from getting complacent and then someone to mentor or who keeps you humble
Pumla is very realistic with her logical explanation. I cannot imagine being the financial provider 100%, while I still have to come home and do all house chores, school runs, and all traditional roles of a wife, while the man spends the entire day at home accumulating dirty dishes and cannot even wash them.
Pulma’s cup! 💀 gives vibes of visiting a rich guy who only has whiskey or wine glasses and tea cups .. they be having a dysfunctional kitchen on the low low coz they are eating out most of the time!
Thought I'd leave a second comment with minor feedback for the producers / audio engineers...I don't know that the music is adding much value to the videos...If anything, I think it distracts. There's a way to do it to add to the production quality so I get the idea, but a looping background track doesn't seem to work well for discussions. Good for other kinds of content, though.
I love J view on things..He is soo spot on humanity and this has my heart..For Pumla I just love her but she’s selfish..😂..Prima is a Jesus Giel..A subscriber here❤
Am with Joel....climate change...is coming for us....let's work towards..living a better world for our children so that they have less problems to solve (being Ugandan is already huge enough)....2023 was recorded to have the highest temperatures...it only gets worse( we should stop our anthropogenic ways please)😢

I miss pumla on bump love. I actually still depressed for her leaving 😢. Am getting to recover slowly by slowly. That's why I follow her everywhere she goes. I love pumla ❤
Loved the topic. The interruptions were quite distracting though. Joel basically "couldn't land" with his points because of that. It does take away from the conversation...
Dear friends, let's appreciate that this is not a TED talk or a lecture. It's conversations and banter between friends. This is their authentic dynamic and the basis of the format of the PPJ episodes. Yes, there is an underlying message and if you would like more on that, Joel has mentioned he will have follow up episodes on this specific topic. You may find the format of those episodes is more to your liking. Subscribe hit the notification bell sit back and relax.

You do attract what you are so when you have money, you tend to gravitate towards activities and company of those who have too.
thanks for addressing the shift in power dynamics.
