tancow the rank for the race is decided by the amount of times you brake. If you brake less you’ll get a higher rank.

@@4GRJ Actually it isn't too bad I think the limit is like 15-20 times for s rank, I just do it without braking because I don't like counting the number of times I braked during a race.
