The reserves are how much you want stocked at all times .. I use it as a trade feature. I had sheep and was producing alot it clothes .. and I had 300 set to reserve .. and I set to sell 200 clothes on loop and it worked smoothly. I always had enough clothes for my people .. and produces enough reserves consistently. That’s my understanding of how it works and how I use it lol
