can you count how many rotten drivers cut into lanes without signaling? You'd OD from playing a drinking game.

Does anyone remember how fun Old Pas was in the 90s? I was in my mid 20s partying every weekend there since my first apartment was in Old Town Pasadena. The crowds were literally 8-10 times as much as a weekend in todays time. There was a club behind Delacey parking structure, and Im not talking about the old Twin Palms which was south of the parking structure. The one i'm talking about was West of the structure...
I think it was called 'Shelter' but I maybe wrong. Then Moose McGillycuddy's moved in, and Jake's Billiards on Colorado was cool to, my girlfriend and I would have 'Tea 4 Two' which was a 32oz Long Island Iced Tea, two or three of those and we would be spinning with the earth. Then we would always end our night of bar hopping with the one and only Freddie's 35er, AKA The Dirty Diver. And since we were so close to home we would always see old friends from high school. But it wasn't all partying, Old Pas was a great place for date night. Dinner and a movie at the underground AMC in One Colorado Square with a horse & carriage ride all around Old Pas. Damn I forgot all about that, there use to be the horse and carriage ride like you would see in New York in and around Central Park. Cruising up and down Colorado was allowed back then.
But I guess that's why the City of Pasadena cracked down on the bars & clubs, they even kicked out Hooters restaurant years later. But to many drunken fights after last call. You have a thousand drunk dudes and girls all leaving at the same time at 2am there's bound to be some trouble. But Pasadena is and will always be a beautiful city, if you can afford those homes, I sure cant. But I'm 53 now and I left Cali for more reasons than high price housing. I left California in 2012 because of STINKING POLITICS. Age will do that, in the 90s it was still about partying. In my 30s it became being a husband & father to four beautiful children, and that's when I found myself caring deeply about other human beings in politics and how they get the power to make choices that affect many aspects of my life.

I was a teen in the 90s so I didn't party like that. I remember being able to camp out overnight for the Rose Parade and people having fun New Year's Eve. The City Council made a bad move shutting everything down for the New Year. The ramifications haven't even begun yet.

Pasadena in the 60's had much going for it!!! Pleasant society & people everywhere. Mostly I recall the college there had one of the highest scholastic ratings in America. Of course this was before the freeway that cut through the heart of the town. Just saying.

Nice video again. Personally, I especially like the videos made on walks on sidewalks in cities and parks. Driving a car is very fast and it is not possible to enjoy videos :).

Yes there are some, but is not bad. The park you see on the right side of the screen at 21:06, homeless people will put up a tent for the night to sleep. As the car turns right on Fair Oaks Ave. you can see a homeless man at 22:36. Look to the right, he is sitting on the side walk wearing a blue jacket. It's very clean city what you see on the screen is how it is. I love going there to see a movie or shopping. Been there a couple of times on new years day to see the Rose Parade on Colorado Blvd. The start of the video at 1:20, that's Colorado Blvd also the beginning of the parade & that"s also the directions the parade goes.
