I love our president, and the fine people of Poland. Polish culture is amazing. So happy to have a polish born young man in our family. I visited Krakow in 2018, wonderful, wonderful family.

@Paul Deland I watched the Polish version of the speech as well. In fairness she didn't translate everything but was fast enough to keep up. So great respect to her. As for President Duda - he is brilliant and knows his history.
@Paul Deland You had some great presidents yourself. From our perspective Woodrow Wilson would be the best (and it's ironic cause Polish usually vote Republicans) and Ronald Reagan very close second. The only president of your country who actually did us harm was F.D. Roosevelt. As for Obama - most of my American friends were voting for him but they were students at the time.

They have endured incredible hardship, torture, genocide, etc., under the iron fist of both Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union. I don't think the average American has any idea. The great country of Poland is quickly becoming one of our strongest and most closely aligned allies in the world. I am very pleased and would love to visit Poland and meet their amazing citizens!

I think you are misinformed. Poland is introducing all kinds of social programs now. Naturally with it comes all kinds of taxation. Small businesses are the first to fall. The inflation rate is increasing, prices are going only up and the salaries barely so. The queue to some specialist doctors are so bad they your visit might be scheduled 5-7 years ahead. The party from which President Duda comes from has bribed the majority of voters with money from social programs. This is not sustainable, but the majority is not clever enough to figure it out. Poland stands up to E.U. only in a matter of forced emigration quotas, its changes in supreme court and against creating an E.U. army. In every other regard it follows E.U. and it is socialist right now.
Trump may be arrogant and rude person sometimes but as a president he feeds America again. Obama, even though his election was historically, socially and culturally important, made your plates smaller and tastless. Greetings from Poland.
