I love the tie back! There is already plenty of wood. It softens the room and gives that elegant French look. But, if you can't find another one, use the wood. So glad you decided to take down the wooden spokes above the beautiful fireplace. GOLD is the word! Love it All💕
Tiebacks! They soften the room a little from all the masculine dark wood tones and busy but gorgeous 😊 pattern on all the panels so the Tiebacks are stunning!🙏
The drapes are BEAUTIFUL! I like the stationary, wood, tie back for guests it’s so easy to tuck the drapes back without fiddling with the cord tiebacks.
I agree with Tracy-the gold is lovely. Also, I agree that the wood tiebacks are best. She’s right on the money again as we say. Ash, your tiling looks professional to me, like you’ve been doing for your whole life. Wonderful ideas for above the fireplace. I think it’s going to look terrific.
I love the drapes. They are so beautiful and they make the room so much warmer. I like the stationary wood tie back for the guests. It seems so much easier to tuck the drapes back without fiddling with the cord tiebacks.
I think the tie-back cord would be the more practical choice for those gorgeous drapes, as the wooden ones might be accidentally bumped-into and broken.
@ You must know I was not trying to say anything bad, I was joking or kidding around. I was just saying he is amazing and very busy and successful. ( Anyway I removed that bit.) I thought he had made you new windows. Your Oak seems to be nicer than Oak in America. Does he have a brother that is a wood craftsman ? If so please send his brother to America.
Terry is the master gilder and upholster; the man with the golden touch. Tracy is the lady of the needle and thread; your draperies are phenomenal. Ash is the tile tsar; no shower left bare. Impressive workmanship all around!!! 😊
Oh Tracie, the curtains are divine, and the wood is my fave, it just looks rich and with so much wood in the room, it doesn't look added, it just is...also love the glimpses of fabric lampshades, as a former designer of them, they just add the perfect touch, can't wait to see them in the rooms...AWESOME job kids...!
Great job on the cutains...hope there is some fabric left for cushions! After all her hard work creating the drapes Tracy's preference should be the deciding choice.
I’d use the wooden tie backs. It will be easier to close the curtains with them. If you use the tie backs you have to undo them each time you close the curtains.
Either one would be nice. If you’re going to want people to use the pull cords, then you need for them to loosen the curtains easily so I vote on the wood. Y’all are doing an amazing job!
Hi Tracey Ash and Terry, the curtains are so fitting for the room. They are warm and decadent looking and really makes the wood stand out. I’m torn between the tie backs or the wood. They are both suitable but practicality for guests I think the wood would be much easier. Well done Tracey.👏🏼👏🏼🥰🇨🇮
Terry, don’t worry about how much gold you’re putting on. Put as much as you want. Versailles had no limits on how much gold tú put everywhere. So you have at it. It’s going to look fenomenal. Your God given talent is showing through.
I think Versailles is a bad example, it is quite vulgar in places, for example the front gates are (to my eye) awfully overdone. By comparison these rooms are quite restrained! If Terry visits Fontainebleau he will feel that he has left far too much wall and ceiling at Lalalande without enough gilding!
The wood is a better choice for guests. Guests would rarely choose to use a cord tie back. I think that both look good so for me functionality and practicality wins.
Absolutely beautiful curtains, I prefer the wood hold back. Tiling is lovely. The gilding is superb. Terry's just jobs will change the room. Love as always from County Durham xxx ❤
The front door is beautiful! The kitty on the sofa while you were working on it was adorable ❤ Great job with the curtains and tiles😊 I like the wood one. But both are nice.
Wood ones are a nice touch, maybe carol from chateau de la ferte has the mold she made of the ones she made for her grand salon. I feel like that room is vaguely the same style. Tassel is nice but they frill and they need to be more practical since multiple guest will open and close the curtains frequently to sleep in that room. Can’t wait for the reveal!
Fabulous as usual! I'm with Tracey on the wooden curtain hold backs as it's more in keeping with the rest of the room and far less faffing about than trying to grab a cord and fasten it round. It's as easy as tucking your hair behind your ear with the wooden ones, plus you already have a pair. I like the idea of having the tv behind a mirror = it will make it less easy to nick. ❤
Wow those curtains are fabulous…. And deffo the wood 😬 the chairs are going to be so Beautiful when they are finished! And a great job on the tiling Ash! Can’t wait to see it all come together. Love love the idea of the two way glass !!!
You three are very talented and never cease to amaze and inspire. he bathroom tiling is looking lovely and Tracy those curtains are just beautiful, you are one very talented lady xxx
Have to say well done Tracey, you make beautiful curtains. I love the tie back personally BUT practically the wood as they are pull cord and guest's are not going to stop to put tie back on. 😊
Tie backs would be more suitable for drapes that aren't often closed. I think they would quickly suffer from overuse, looking frayed. For a bedroom, the wooden holdbacks would be far more convenient to use and last longer.
Wood in the wood room for me! Thank you Tracy for making the perfect curtains for my favorite room🥰 They are stunning!!!! Hang in there Ash🤦♀️ Terry is brain storming!!! ❤ The tiling looks gorgeous and you are doing a great job Ash😊❤❤❤
In my opinion, because the wood in that room is SO overdone, the tiebacks would be more appropriate and attractive than the wood knob. Oh, no to the wooden columns coming off the fireplace! It could be so amazing!
The curtains look fan-f-ing-tastic! I can't imagine anything else looking better. Great job. Quality tiling, as well. I'm so excited for the first floor redo.

I like the tie back!
Thank you 🥰
Don’t you love having a cat supervisor/helper😻
I prefer the tie back as there is already a lot of wood in the room and the tieback looks more in line with a French château
I rather like the wooden curtain holder especially with those flowery curtains.
Wood all the way! Another perfectly executed drapery created by Tracy…. Gorgeous!!!!
Thank you so much! ☺️

I'm with Tracy...the wood looks better and the curtains look amazing. Xx
I think that kitten is cute!
I think the tie backs look better! There is enough wood in the room it is! 🎉
I vote for the tie backs. It softens the look. Beautiful fabric. Tracy is so talented!
Thanks for voting 🥰
Oops I just wrote that - great minds think alike
I think the tie-back cord would be the more practical choice for those gorgeous drapes, as the wooden ones might be accidentally bumped-into and broken.
Thank you 🥰
That door and the lock set is so stunning. I absolutely have lock envy. I like the wooden hold back.
It really is! 🥰🥰
Paddy is a wood master Treasure.
The quality of that door is extremely good.
Everyone is doing an outstanding job remaking the rooms !! Well done.
@@waynesmith3908 paddy has been here for the last 3/4 years working on the château so not borrowed 😊
@ You must know I was not trying to say anything bad, I was joking or kidding around. I was just saying he is amazing and very busy and successful.

I thought he had made you new windows. Your Oak seems to be nicer than Oak in America.
Does he have a brother that is a wood craftsman ?
If so please send his brother to America.
Of course Tracey is correct!! The wood one doesn’t ruin the shape of the curtain…it still flows…
Terry is the master gilder and upholster; the man with the golden touch. Tracy is the lady of the needle and thread; your draperies are phenomenal. Ash is the tile tsar; no shower left bare. Impressive workmanship all around!!! 😊
I’m a cat 🐈⬛ lover and that open with your cat sitting and watching you do the goldgil was the sweetest!❤
Thank you! 😊
I like the wood. Easier to close drapes when you need to.
Thanks so much 😊
I agree withAsh, tieback. Softens the overall look with all the wood.
A TV on an artists plaine air painting easel looks nice too, keep in mind TV's don't last forever
Tracy is a couturier extraordinaire! I vote for elegant tassled tie backs. You only need to loosen one end and let it hang when you close the drapes.
Tie Back! The wood pulls the curtains back a bit too far. The tie-back lends an air of regal luxury.
Thank you 🥰
I love those drapes, Tracy. I like the wooden hole back for the curtains. They’re beautiful!!
Thanks so much!🥰
Great job on the cutains...hope there is some fabric left for cushions! After all her hard work creating the drapes Tracy's preference should be the deciding choice.
I’d use the wooden tie backs. It will be easier to close the curtains with them. If you use the tie backs you have to undo them each time you close the curtains.
Tracy did a beautiful job on the curtains, and I like the wood to hold them back.
Thank you! 😊
For that room- wood hold back
Thank you 🥰
I love the wood with gold leafing. Brilliant
Paddy is a busy guy. Between you and Billy he has his job cut out! 😍
The curtains are look so grand, just what the wood room needs and deserves. I love the warmth they give to the room.
The fabric is stunning really stets the room off
I like the wood with some gold on it. It would be in keeping with the room.
The tie back is prettier but the wood is practical for frequent opening and closing.
Beautiful curtains Tracy!!! Liz
Thanks so much! 🥰
Combine the wooden curtain holder and tieback. I'have done it in my dining room.
Les rideaux sont magnifiques !👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️❤️
Either one would be nice. If you’re going to want people to use the pull cords, then you need for them to loosen the curtains easily so I vote on the wood.
Y’all are doing an amazing job!
Thank you 🥰

Thanks so much 😊
Definitely the wood .
Thank you 🥰
The drapes are gorgeous! Perfect for the room. Well done, Tracey!
Thanks so much! 😊
Team Tracey…. Go the wooden holdback
I would use the wood. It is less fussy when drawing the curtains.
Nice job with the drapes Tracey
Terry, don’t worry about how much gold you’re putting on. Put as much as you want. Versailles had no limits on how much gold tú put everywhere. So you have at it. It’s going to look fenomenal. Your God given talent is showing through.

Once again, Tracy demonstrates another skill from her incredible arsenal. Love watching the true affection you all share!
i think either one looks great with the curtain but the wood seems to fit better in the wood room.
Thank you 🥰
Mi piace vedere la decorazione della poltrona sotto la supervisione del gatto! Ottimo direttore dei lavori felino 😂❤
Haha. Thank you 🥰🥰
The wood is a better choice for guests. Guests would rarely choose to use a cord tie back. I think that both look good so for me functionality and practicality wins.
Thanks for voting 🥰
I like the wood for the curtains
I hope you're sifting the gold out of the vacuum cleaner. You can resell it for the gold leaf fund :)
🤣🤣🤣
The drapes are beautiful ❤️👩🏼👋🏼🍁
Thanks Leah 🥰
The wooden one looks great!❤
Thank you! 😊
Coming along splendidly!!Beautiful draperies..Great job Tracy. Love the tiles Ash and the gold will really set off the furniture, Terry.
Thanks so much! 😊
The tie backs look gorgeous, more luxurious
Wood Tracey wood!
Thank you 🥰
The wood would be better if you want to open the curtains
Thanks Tammy 🥰
Wood for me. You expose more of the window and the view!❤
Wood tie back, boy it's cold in that room
Gorgeous curtains Tracy ❤, I love the fabric ❤.
Terry your so creative, this room is a masterpiece ❤
Thanks so much 😊
WOOD!!!!!!!!!
Absolutely beautiful curtains, I prefer the wood hold back. Tiling is lovely. The gilding is superb. Terry's just jobs will change the room. Love as always from County Durham xxx ❤

I absolutely love the tile in the shower. Excellent work Ash.
Thanks so much! 🥰
The front door is beautiful! The kitty on the sofa while you were working on it was adorable ❤ Great job with the curtains and tiles😊 I like the wood one. But both are nice.
Thanks so much! 😊
Tracy, what gorgeous curtains! Love the tie back best. Beautiful work everybody!❤❤❤
Tracy you did such a great job on the window curtain. 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thanks so much! 😊
I like the wood too.
I think the tie backs look nicer. They give the room a soft touch.
I like the wood. Either that or proper tie backs. My one set of tie backs have tassels on the bottom of them that match the fabric colours.
Tough choice for pulling the drapes back! The drapes are lovely 🎉 glad you are changing the look for above the fireplace 🎉🎉🎉
Thank you! 😊

Thanks for the tip!

What a beautiful job you did on the curtains. Gorgeous! I'm with you on the wood!❤
Thanks so much! 😊
Tracy the drapes are beautiful. I like the wood tiebacks.
Thank you 🥰
Tracy the curtains are gorgeous. What a fine job you did making them
Tracey has done such a beautiful job with the curtains, I like the wood tie backs...
Thanks so much! 😊
Wooden holdback. Guests will be opening and closing the drapes. It will be easier to tuck them behind the wooden holder.
Tracy you are amazing!! I like the wood too!!
Thank you so much! ☺️
I'd go for the tie back. There is enough wood in this room and the fabric in the curtains and the tie backs soften it.
Thank you 🥰
I’m with Tracy, go with the wood knob thingy for holding back the beautiful curtains she made, splendid job Tracy 😊
Thanks so much! 😊
I think the wood with some gold will look beautiful 💕😍💕✨✨✨
Thank you so much for sharing 🧚♂️🧚♀️🧚♂️🤗
Thanks so much 😊
Have to say well done Tracey, you make beautiful curtains. I love the tie back personally BUT practically the wood as they are pull cord and guest's are not going to stop to put tie back on. 😊
I love the wooden tie back - more in keeping with the room's aesthetics.
The new curtains are fantastic. Bravo!❤🎉
Thank you! 😊
Tie backs would be more suitable for drapes that aren't often closed. I think they would quickly suffer from overuse, looking frayed. For a bedroom, the wooden holdbacks would be far more convenient to use and last longer.
Wood curtain holder for me.
You go, Terry! The good will look fabulous. I believe in you 👑
Thanks so much 🥰
I vote wooden tie backs , the curtains look amazing great job Tracy xx
Thanks so much 😊
The wood looks very smart c
the flower curtains are very beautiful ❤👍🌿🐞🌹
Wood in the wood room for me! Thank you Tracy for making the perfect curtains for my favorite room🥰 They are stunning!!!! Hang in there Ash🤦♀️ Terry is brain storming!!! ❤ The tiling looks gorgeous and you are doing a great job Ash😊❤❤❤
