Shekou is getting better and better, as I can see. I was here in 2013. Hard to believe how it has changed. Walmart and Decathlon are still on Nanhai blvd, though.
I've been in ShenZhen over 3 decades, grow up with this city bit by bit, familiar with those street and buildings, peoples here devoted massive enthusiasm and energy makes this city better!

I've just found the cheapest way of traveling! For real, though, this city is mind-blowing. Everything looks so tidy and clean and safe and well put together. Really impressive and fascinating. I can almost feel like I'm there, taking that night drive in Shenzhen with you.

Because of one country, two systems, Chinese Mainland and Hong Kong have different license plates and driving licenses. Therefore, cars with only Chinese Mainland license plates cannot go directly to Hong Kong.
you don't need headlights driving in China, all the roads are well lit which makes driving at night much safer & easier. You can't find this anywhere in north America

Because of one country, two systems, Chinese Mainland and Hong Kong have different license plates and driving licenses. Therefore, cars with only Chinese Mainland license plates cannot go directly to Hong Kong.
Yes, but by public transit not by private cars yet. But I see some mainland vehicles in Hong Kong.

you don't need headlights driving in China, all the roads are well lit which makes driving at night much safer & easier. You can't find this anywhere in north America
