@@DanielPizarro184 You would rather be born in the later years so at least you have a chance to see human on Mars. I was born in the last century so my hope is very slim but I still my hope for the year 2030.
When I was young we didn't have a remote for the TV now OMG . Thankyou you amazing people who in my lifetime have accomplished so so much and Thankyou Kosmo for bringing this into my loungeroom 🥰
Certainly, if in fact we actually were literally flying an aircraft on another planet. Sadly NASA is filming flying a drone on a volcano summit through a red lens and stating it is Mars so they can continue to steal billions from taxpayers.
If you check the original data before orange lensing became a standard for NASA to overlay on pictures it always showed blue sky and clouds Unaltered Hubble and fly by pictures also show plenty of atmosphere There's even pictures showing what looks to be trees and bushes from orbit in some places
Actualy, the most problem is the long distance away to be in Mars. Other technical problems are scientifically 'no problem' to those scientist engineers in Nasa.
Most of the information is already on board the rovers and helicopter mainly bc they cant control anything in mars in real time bc of the delay basically wat im saying is that its programmed to do that stuff
I wish I could live for hundreds off years just to see the advanced technology also space exploration from voyagers in the next solar system and what wonders they will discover
It’s so amazing and blows my mind how we can control rovers and spacecraft from millions of miles away, and even billions of miles away in the case of the Voyagers and New Horizons
I think we're learning a lot about the forces at play in the formation of our solar system and perhaps even the evolution of life. Keep the info coming.
It occurs to me that on occasions where Perseverance may collect dust the down-draft of the small copter may remove occulting dust from the solar array.
Earth day on Mars, Such a great accomplishment, I suppose the images and videos are pieced together in order to capture both vehicles and if not, I would love to know how its done, Thanks for a great video, looking forward to the next one. 🇺🇸
I wonder if they could use the rotors to keep dust off the solar panels during dust devils. That would be amazing. You could literally have a long term craft available with no interference for recharging purposes
Here on earth 150 mph winds throw cars around like toys, but on Mars 400 mph winds don't even move the rover ,which weight's less than a car! You can decide if the rover is on Mars or not
You need to take more physics courses. The force of the wind depends on the density of the atmosphere. When the wind blows on Mars, less stuff is hitting you and imparting an impulse (dig?) If the atmosphere is only 1% as thick as on Earth, what do you think that means for the force of the winds on Mars? And by the way, the maximum wind speeds on Mars are about 60 mph, not 400mph.

We are lucky that we are able to see such wonderful videos of other planet sitting in a corner of the earth, thanks to human intelligence. I wish I had lived long enough to see many more such marvellous scenes.
I'm just wondering it takes so many millions of km travelling from Earth to Mars. So those taken photos from Mars and it takes how long reach back to Earth and how about other technical issues. Please enlighten us.
Awesome. Stunning. Astonishing. Are there enough grand words to adequately describe this monumental accomplishment? And, we get to go along for the ride. Amazing!
I thought the whole point of putting a drone on Mars was so it could spot points of interest for perseverance to explore and identify obstacles for it to avoid.
I wonder if they can use the little helicopter to blow the dust of of the Old rovers that are on Mars and try to get them started up again from their solar panels

But the really amusing thing is how can that drone fly? The Martian atmospheric pressure of 0.095 psi would not be enough for the props to "propel" any gas let alone create lift. Earth's atmospheric pressure @ sea level is 14.7 psi.
That was the question the Ingenuity team set out to answer 6 years ago, and after a lot of work developing prototypes, and tests in chambers simulating the martian atmosphere, the answer is a resounding yes!
This is available in 2021. Now think about the achievements in year 2080. Imagine 1990 vs 2020 and that's only 30 years. Best of all, chances are, that you will be alive to witness 2080's achievements

Looks like Mars has more of an atmosphere than we initially thought.
It’s highly variable. 3-30 pascals
1% of earths. Amazing!

I’m really curious as to how long the bearings and blades are going to last in Mars dust.
I f sealed bearings are used than it should not be a problem.
Military helicopters are designed for the conditions based on particles, particle count, as well as moisture.
I was wondering if the flights have shaken off the sand that was on the solar panels. It seems likely but no one has said if they did.
Probably cost taxpayers $10,000 each. Likely come with something like a 5 hr life expectancy.
