Funny you mention those lights inside of the farm house. My parents had those same exact ones. I really liked all of the fireplaces they had. Our new house we bought has two that we use all of the time. The plastic chairs you found in barn remind me of the ones you see in an old school house.
Just a quick one. We have a great time. Spent several hours going through multiple buildings on the property. Another reform, farm type school with a story passed. Was going through the footage and decided to make a couple of smaller videos. Just didn't flow well for all one🤷♂️
Yes, I kinda got those vibes as well, especially with that house on the property. It's a much smaller property, but there was several buildings on site. I also did a school building and the kids dormatory building. I'll probably work on that video in a day or 2. I would have done them all in one video like I usually do, But I've made a couple of 15 and 20 minute videos recently, and I just don't like making a lot of long videos. I want to get back out in the next few weeks, and with the winter coming up I definitely want to go back to the abandoned portion of the railyard in New Haven. I've been going back there since the 90s. But it's just one of those places I love to return at least once a year and wonder. Mother nature has been kicking that place's ass the last few years. She even took down one of the huge light towers. It was sad to see yet incredible to see at the same time. The way that thick solid iron just bent and twisted when it came down. Incredible
@@richdiscoveries definitely capture that if it's still available ! I thought it was a nice hike the day I did it. Brush wasn't bad to get through either
Ay up fella. Cool find matey even though much of them are fairly well into a collapsed state. Tis still always interesting having a nosey around old abandoned buildings. Ay a good'un me owd cocka 👍🙂
Yes, it was a fun afternoon. There was a few good buildings as well, but I wanted to check out everything on the property. Still ended up missing another house, and couldn't find a way up into the church steeple. I may have to go back at some point
It was definitely a nice setup. probably very nice in it's day. It was built better than other abandoned greenhouses we have come across, this one was still standing fine. Usually the top of them collapse into themselves
I'm sorry I hope all is well. I know how much you love to get out and see things, so hopefully you will be able to again soon. Always a pleasure to hear from you, my friend.
Wow pretty cool. it's a mess but was nice in it's day
It was a huge complex with multiple buildings. unfortunately, everything was destroyed, but we spent a good couple hours walking around.

Someone was growing the Devils lettuce in that greenhouse back when it was worth something. 😊
Fuck yeah.. But I can't think of anyone who would grow something like that 🤣
