Exactly. Not only Kuzu no Honkai but also Bokura ga ita, Mirai Nikki or Fukemenkai noise. This relationship is not that bad compared to these, also he change is attitude and gets better. Especially when he fall in love with her and understand that she don't love him for the money or because she want something in change of her kindness. For this reason he start to love her and see her with different eyes. So, in my opinion, their ship is not that bad. You just said the ending of the manga which got me a bit frustrated and sad. My point was only that you put a disclaimer before you talk about the ending of something.
