I bought one for the hell of it. I don't know anything about riding a skateboard...I took it out of my closet and blew the dust off it. I'll start learning how to ride. I upgraded my swift with a seat and a training stick. Hopefully one day I'll post it on the tube.
Hey, brother, I have seen mixed reviews for the Lycaon board, but that set of allen keys is one great bonus! I certainly await your review after putting it through your test riding.
I still think the Swift is sleek looking! It doesn't look like 'every-other-board', and so it stands out in the crowd.... it says, "be noticed!" I do think it "looks" better (in photos at least) with belt drives on it though, and I think Cloudwheels would make it look 10x better still. Thanks for the unboxing vid! I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts about it after you've had some time with it! I'm hoping to be able make this my 2nd board at some point.
In person this board looks professional and high end. It doesn't look like it's meant for a skater who wants to go 15mph. (except for the grip, but that can be swapped) I ride the subway and genuinely feel like I look like a commuting professional w this thing.
This is a great board, had mine for 3 months belt and hub version with 105mm clouds, if your a heavier rider, im about 195lbs you won't regret this board , I've had 22miles going slightly uphill for 11 and down for 11miles, at 30mph with clouds and belts drive its stable as hell, I've a backfire g3 which I love and carves slightly better but this isn't far off at all, great board but I'd get the belt version, clouds easier to get and cheaper than donut cloudwheels version
This thing was on my list of possible purchases, but I’m really interested in AT boards right now.... definitely hit some feedback on the ride and comfort for bigger dudes. Much appreciated as always
I’m really looking forward to your review on this board. Ive just ordered the Swift belt drive model as my first Eboard. I was also very interested in the Zealot S, but I went with Swift belt version mainly because I’m 6.7ft 246lbs and the Swifts deck can hold up to 330lbs. I think the Zealot S was only around 240/250lbs (I emailed and asked backfire 4 times in 2 weeks with zero reply) and I was worried about scraping enclosures and bottoming out etc. There doesn’t seem to be so many options for good street boards for us larger guys. Love your videos. Keep up the good work, all the best to you!
@@MrPhillipsTheChangeAgent I’m looking forward to seeing your perspective as well as seeing the boards performance with someone over 200lbs. I only discovered your channel the other day. I’ve only been researching and watching Eboard reviews for about two weeks before pulling the trigger on the Lycaon Swift. You deserve more subscribers your content is really good. I found your content while watching Daniel Kwan and Ronnie Sarmiento’s videos on the Zealot S and the Lycaon Swift. They are both awesome content providers like yourself and very knowledgeable, but they can’t provide performance figures etc for guys over 200lbs or a larger riders perspective.
Same I got the gr from them and they advertised 25 mph but only got 23 on a flat road and the battery sag was terrible you can get the range that’s advertised but you’ll be going slow asf. The most range I got on the board was 14.87 miles
I’ve been looking at the swift for a month now I’m just waiting for more HONEST reviews on it so I can justify spending 1k on the board all together love the colors of the board and thank you for spending the time to review it
Im a bigger dude and the swift carries me well. the belt drive system has plenty of power to get me up them steep inclines. I’ll be swapping out to the hub soon. I wanna see how good the power is on it with the hub.
I've had the lycaon swift shift version for nearly 3 months, hubs and belts, hubs are good but man the belt version in pro with clouds on, what a board, I've done 22miles, doing avg 12mph slightly uphill for half, 23mph avg coming slightly downhill, stable as hell at top speed and because I snowboard to I can carve pretty good once set up as I like, im 6ft and about 195lbs
Peace.. Beast Board surprisingly hit me up.. because discount codes don't work. They offered me free belts. As a beginner looking for city travel...will I have to do some maintenance? Is there value In free belts for a rookie?
Yes with belt drive you occasionally have to replace belts. This is generally when they get worn or debris gets in the belt and damages them. However, it’s not too often. I have hundreds of miles on my boards and have not changed them yet. I am a fan of belt drive. Are you on social media. I want to learn more about the discount code issue. Are you on IG I think you are can you message me there.
Yes ..I will link on IG with you I fully support you.. 🙏 you are a great youtuber, obviously a great parent, and you are great building a community. Thank you for your vision and journey ✌🏽🐫
the board looks like shit lol the gr looks so much better but swift is the better board for stats yet again for the price tag better off take your money to backfire and get yourself a zealot s

That’s why this board is so interesting to me. So many options on it. Can’t wait to put the video up. Take care brother. 🤟🤟

I got you covered. 🤟🤟
Comfortable as hell with cloudwheels, running trainers and your feet find a certain point on the board where your feet just lock in, hope this helps
What is that paracord you put on the back of some of your boards? I haven’t been able to find it.

Really appreciate the compliment. The review will be up soon. I think people will enjoy the review.

Would be nice to see some donuts on that and see what that does to the range, waiting for your review before I pull the trigger on this 🤙
