This video is excellent. It shows how different about journalism in new media and old media; it gives a lot of information to the people who interested in journalism.
Thank you for making this video. It made me knowing more the relationship of new media and old media also a little the bad and good way of the changing.
Something called "deplatforming", is becoming more common place in social media control. Deplatforming is kicking someone off a website for having content not in alignmment with a sites rules. However, "ideology" is often used abusively in place of rules. Unfortunately, deplatforming by website hosting has the effect of information not reaching those most in need of it. Opinion can't be changed in those who are ignorant of the realities, if they can't be reached. The media controllers are very much aware of this. Their failure to cite a specific offense or violation of rules goes to show why they are so corrupt. People also remain ignorant of how dangerous this is to their future freedoms.
Thank you for mentioning these goods and bads of journalism changing. It is useful for new generation like me to know which problems should be fixed and what should be improved.
I do agree with what Jon Steinberg said, 'there are really not new or old media but just we know what's good for the past and kind of adding new ideas to it'. Personally, I don't think both of them are totally good or bad. Facebook or Twitter which I usually use become places where we can discuss with a crowd of people even we don't know each other but also facing fake news. While journalism is full of professionals and less fake news, but the audience can't discuss with others, unlike New media. However, both of them are good and bad from different points of view and they surely change/impact each other.
Thank you for creating this content. I know more about how fast of new media changing our journalism. I know the negative and positive sides of new media and old media. Moreover, the consumer need to be aware of consume news because there are many fake news due to the progress of technology.
This is exceptional content. I read a book with a similar theme, and it was absolutely mind-blowing. "The Art of Meaningful Relationships in the 21st Century" by Leo Flint
Hello, I am Catarina Varela, from Brazil. I'm a journalism student at the Federal University of Ceará and I'm taking the discipline of Theories of Journalism, in which we developed a project on scientific dissemination. I watched your video and found the content very interesting and I believe it should be disseminated. Therefore, I translated the video into Brazilian Portuguese. Would you be interested? Would it be possible to upload the subtitles in Portuguese on the original video published on your channel? Thank you in advance and congratulations for the great job done! Sincerely, -- Catarina Varela

It just showed us what they were and how difficult it is to change themselves instead of subverting the people they need to inform.

Being first is more important than being right.... This is a horrible standard.
