Im impressed. Adam took a lot of crap over this video. They called him racist without paying attention to his message. Adam grew up in the hood in Chicago. On his own staying in trap houses working on his rap skills. He said they all called each other the N word. Before he shot this video, he went to the streets and told people what he was doing and people volunteered to be in the video. Loved your reaction! ❤
Gotta say, you two just became some of my favorite reactors for how you were able to allow the message to be told before judging. Its nice to see more and more people starting to get it.
My brothers from beautiful nubian mother's! Awesome reaction fellas! I'm glad you saw what adan was trying to do with this video. He was showing how we are all separated by stereotypes. But it doesn't matter if it's the trailer park or the hood we're all the same, we're humans just trying to live. One sad part about this video is when Adam says the line, "All you do is smoke weed" The guy they showed on the screen who was rolling the blunt, he was a rapper named William Pickering, aka EBE Bandz aka Billy Da Kid and shortly after this video was filmed in 2019 he was kidnapped, tortured, beaten with a baseball bat and set on fire and his body was found weeks later dumped in the woods. It was a drug deal gone bad and three men were all convicted of murder but the ring leader, William Arzate skipped sentencing and is still out there somewhere running from the cops and a life sentence. Adam paid for the funeral when he found out what happened.
We All have our good and bad sides. We need to look beyond the divisions that are being created. And focusing on unity is the only way we can move forward together and create a better world. Respect and keep up the good reactions.. Love from The Netherlands 🇳🇱🇳🇱
This is now my favorite reaction to this song. No fake theatrical bullshit from you. Thank you both for being REAL. Keep up the good work, you are appreciated.
Adam goes much deeper into the complexities of it all than most ever dare. Adam did an interview with Stevie Knight specifically about this song, racism, what life he grew up in and where his perspective was regarding his approach of this song and why he thought it was ok as a white man to use the N word so freely in this song. It's a really in-depth interview into who Adam is and where he comes from. I highly recommend it.
I watched the video too, I found out who Adam Calhoun was through listening to Tom McDonald and Demun Jones. ACAL is definitely underrated in the music world (very underground country rap) and this song is the first song of his I heard. When I heard it I was like yo this song is a banger and really speaks on how I think, if you listen to the lyrics its all about racism existing because we as a human race let it exist.
A very smart underrated black man said it best “ racism is not dead but it is on life-support kept alive by politicians, race hustlers and people that get a sense of superiority by denouncing others as racist” ~Thomas Sowell~
Y’all are absolutely open minded and amazing men! Adam showed the racism in 4 different types of groups! He’s from tough areas of Chicago and has been in prison so he knows facts! We have to respect a man like him!
The White guy at 5:10 was a known rapper from the bloods gang in Chicago. He was killed by cartel members over drugs..He was beaten with baseball bats and set on fire.
Seen Adam Calhoun and Demun Jones in concert at the Barn in Sanford Florida back in 2018 probably the best concert I've ever gone to! Upchurch at the Dallas Bull in Tampa would be a close second.
Middle school Intervention teacher here- best part hearing someone say “rising action” !!! For real though, you two always give great commentary keep it coming!
Best reaction I've seen to this for sure, and which I've been in both lol. Up in the hood n cooking meth in a trailer park lol... know every side of everyone, good and bad
Tre TV &Lamar i cant thank you both enough for being so open minded and mature with how yall reacted to this song. I have watched alot of your reactions more than once including this one. Your reaction on this and the words used yeah we need this level of response bc you have fought against what Adam was talking about when he said pinning us against each other. You both handled your response bringing us together instead of what ive seen others do on this song. I just really am thankful for you both. You both are definitely needed with how you advocate with positive minds. I gotta say its always awesome how you both are so close friends that you finish each other's sentences even. So yeah definitely a fan of your channel and much much respect for you both
This is one of the best barrier breaking song ever made !!! It’s real it’s in your face and it hits hard to the heart !! If you don’t feel close to all your brothers in this world after hearing this you are the problem …
Yall are some good bros! You guys didnt jump to conclusions, you let song play out! They try to divid us but we are all humans we all come from background, differences we all gotta stand by EACH OTHER GOD BLESS US OF A GOD BLESS YALL! 10-4 LIL J
Love all y'alls reactions. Just found y'all a couple of days ago, but easily one of my top reaction channels. Keep doing your thing! We're all brothers, much love.
Best reaction video that I've seen. The introspection during each segment was spot on and really made you stop to go back to listen to what was being said.
Favorite part of the video was the very end. You guys have a very honest and informative message about the song and understood why he made it. Also like how you talked about diving into that mindset when this song was created that would be a fun experience also. First time watching you guys, liked and subscribed. If you keep making content like this it won’t be long before your channel gets its first plaque!! KEEP CHASING IT!!
I was born in 1980. In North Vegas. Look. This shit is real. It's the suits and carpet walkers that want the divide. God speed and God bless. Real talk. Love you.
I've known of this song for years but this the first time I've actually watched the video itself. He really got GMEBE Bandz in the video lmao that's wild.
First... Your guys did a good job on this reaction video. This is a delicate topic, and should be treated as such. I’m a 49 year old white guy, that’s been molded by Hip Hop, gangsta rap, southern fried rock and a good dose of metal. My dad was in the military, so I grew up around kids of every color and background there is. My set friends have been Black, Puerto rican, Hawaiian, and White. I have mixed kids. My mom taught me, to judge a person by their heart and how they treat you. I’ve met some really bad people, from all races. Great people from all races too. Anyways, when it comes to the “N” word, that’s as close as I’ll get to saying it. My black friends have given me a free pass to use that word. For me, it’s like most things you hear from people. You have to consider the source, and their intention. Even though I carry no hate for anyone, cuz of the color of their skin, and I’m not a racist... I’m not comfortable saying that word. It’s a word that brings bad feelings, and is degrading. And I don’t want any confusion or misunderstanding or even playing the “but I have a black friend, so I can say it.” Card. That’s my opinion, and if there’s other people that aren’t black use it, that’s their choice. And if it’s coming from a place like this song, I don’t think there’s bad intentions, and I don’t think it’s wrong. But it’s not my place to say, if someone else is bothered by it either. The other side of that, happened in high school. Me and my best friend were walking together, and a couple skin heads walked past us, and purposely bumped my friend. We turned to face up, asked what that was about, and one of them said “f u “ filled with the “N” word. He didn’t get a chance to say anything else, cuz my fist closed his mouth... and his left eye. That was 32 years ago... that friend is still one of my best friends, and is actually more like a brother. We’ve come far in this complicated race divide. Thing is, we’re more alike than different. The real divide, is about classes. The upper class and lower class.
Agree with y'all both!! Thanks for critiquing it. It is #FACTS that the big rich pit is against one another and literally sit back in their Ivory towers, surrounded by walls and men with guns and watch it happen!!
Man, first time I’ve seen you guys. I’m 50 but still know what’s up but just been out the loop. Yall some cool, straight up and REAL MF’s man! I’m so glad yall talking bout being able to see both races issues. I can only speak for myself and my 50 yrs on this planet but I ain’t seen shit for privelage. Is there a privelage? You damn straight, a rich privelage. That’s what’s up! A MF got the dough, they the ones that got the privelage……..I don’t care if they a shade of purple. Has other folks lived on the same planet me and you two dudes have? Cause we see what’s up and other folks just playin. Following you two dudes anywhere now! I’m Damon 50 yr old white boy, love you two!
With the disclaimer at the beginning I thought y'all were gonna get hung up when he broke out the black side of the song. So many people laugh their ass off when he's describing white folk but they get serious af and start claiming shxt when it comes to their race. You right, most people didn't get to the end of the song to hear the conclusion since they got so hung up on a word. It's a shame people get like that... Big boy Stevie Knight was one of them but the comment section got him to get in touch with ACal and he got wise on the whole situation. Not that he was wrong for feeling some kind of way but he got the whole picture once he got past the hate and anger part. Great reaction though and good comments from both of you. You should check out some more ACal (Rap Shxt, Catch Hell, Die Tonight, Country Rap Facts w/ WTF is Justin Time)
Good one guy cause it a very hard realization and topic that people need to put out there. There is always so much people just won’t speak on and that’s more of a reason I like Adam the hell with it put it out there. Keep it pushin Adam good work..

Great breakdown, gentlemen. Sick and tired of people trying to tell us how different we are from one another.
